@KFrob @shoarmie99 The mess of hormones are just insane. I haven’t been this prone to bouts of depression in years! And I’m supposed to just go on functioning in society like normal? No. Pass the peanut butter cups.

@kfrob you’re not alone. I have these random hormonal feelings. Some days I’m down and grumpy and hate everything for no reason and it annoys me. I’m generally just over being pregnant, in pain and uncomfortable so as a result everything bothers me. Froyo seems to help me.

@fluteling exactly 2 months away! I’m scheduled for 6/16 and it doesn’t even feel real.

@shoarmie99 @Kfrob @Tulips29 @pinkkillersheep The hormones may be hitting me as well or I may be justified in being angry. I usually don't stew in my emotions but it is happening to me more lately.
The latest was when last night baby was pushing on me and I was pushing back, and she would push back... It was fun! Felt like we were having a good time! When my husband said he doesn't like it when I poke at her, I laughed it off at first. Because... you can't be serious... I'm pushing her at the worse against my own organs, not even moving her more than an inch. But he gave me the serious face and was like "I don't want you pushing on her like that." I didn't agree but I've been quietly in an emotional hurricane since. Trying not to lash out.

@boboprego I’m sorry, I wouldn’t respond well to that either. Even if I knew it was well intentioned I would interpret it as my partner not trusting me. DH actually had similar reactions earlier in pregnancy because he truly didn’t understand how well protected the kid is, but after a trip to L&D for intense abdominal pain and seeing how hard the ob pressed on my stomach he finally conceded he may be wrong. Your partner may not understand why you’re feeling angry but I totally get it!

@shoarmie99 @KFrob I will attest to the appetite decrease. I don’t have aversions, I just have no interest in eating (which has been a pretty consistent theme at different points of my pregnancy). I force myself to eat but feel terrible afterwards. Not saying that it’s worse than being hungry all the time. Just also not great either.

@pinkkillersheep sounds great for not gaining a ton but then I imagine you worry about not gaining enough. Plus it stinks to not really enjoy eating. I would like my body to find a happy middle ground where I enjoy food, but I’m not a bottomless pit needing breakfast, 2nd breakfast, prelunch, etc….

@shoarmie99 @KFrob I feel like I still want food just as often but I can't eat the same quantities. So kind of a decrease? But meal size is smaller.

@pinkkillersheep I would rather people tell me I'm glowing than tell me I look exhausted, so I'd believe the glow for sure!

@KFrob I find myself wanting food, but don't know what I want so I just go for my comfort - carbs. Not ideal in any way either. Ugh.

Ok 2 randoms for me
1. How the heck do I continue to sit comfortably all day in my computer chair without everything hurting down there? I feel like my entire bottom half goes numb and is in pain. Anyone else have this? I am not finding comfort in any position.
2. A waitress asked me yesterday if I'm having twins. I said no, just a 3rd baby. Thanks for telling me how huge I am.

@tulips29 a guy in my building said to me the other today that it must be just a few days now before I give birth, and I said no I still have about two months and he said “WATCH YOUR DIET”! Why do people feel the need?!?!?!??!?

@Tulips29 I don’t know if this will help, but my physical therapist told me to make sure that I have my feet flat on the floor and knees at a 90 degree angle, no moving feet farther back under your chair. She also said to try and keep your legs parallel and tie them together so they don’t splay out. Yes, I’m tying my legs at work. Don’t forget and trip yourself when you get up!! 😆

@fluteling i can already picture myself falling flat on my face with my feet tied up. What do you tie them up with? I'm trying to sit straight with knees at 90 degrees, but I'm still finding it hard to do it for a prolonged period of time.

@Tulips29 I use a strap from the diaper bag that has a clip on one end and a d-ring on the other. I clip it about mid-thigh, not by my feet. It does help. Even if it’s weird.

I am holding out on the pump to see if Spectra’s newest one comes out with a battery powered option vs a plug in. I have Spectra S1 and S2 from last time so figured I can wait a little to see if something new comes out.

@marionberry19 curious how the willow works out for you. I kind of want to try it but not sure I want to pay out of pocket for it if it doesn’t end up working out for me.

@mamaheidy2 according to Seraphine: Take your pregnancy bra size, add 1 cup size and subtract 1 back size. So if you are wearing a 34D near the end of your pregnancy, you should try a 32DD for nursing.

Facebook has decided to start spamming me with breast pump ads. I've got an Ameda from the last pregnancy and a hands-free pumping/nursing bra. I definitely need to measure my nipples this time for larger than default flanges. Given the chaos of a toddler and a kitchen remodel, I'm looking at the baby buddha portable pump and freemie in-bra cups combo.
This is all impatience shopping I'm sure. 8 weeks left.

I feel like my stomach is going to burst open like in Alien. It’s so heavy and so stretched and there’s so much time left. I just want to lay down so it’s supported at all times.
If they have standing and treadmill desks surely they have side-lying desks, right?!

@fluteling when you find a good side-lying desk, please let us all know! My first pregnancy I got one of those padded lap desks for my laptop but even sitting on the couch to work isn't comfortable now.

@fluteling ahahaha you made me laugh! Also so glad someone else feels this way. I literally think my stomach is going to tear and it’s going to crawl out - it feels so tight and cramped and hard. Or I’m wondering if all my amniotic fluid leaked out bc it doesn’t feel like a soft sack anymore it feels like a vacuum-sealed uterus around a squirming creature!! And still 6-7 weeks more?! How?!
