Four prior losses, no living children - 1 first trimester miscarriage, 1 blighted ovum, 1 chemical, and one extreme premature live birth daughter who died at 15 days old.

I donโt think anything I own is very cool, but I have 3 beautiful handmade quilts from my godmother and they might be the most treasured thing I own.ย

Not sure if other people will think itโs cool, but I inherited my grandpaโs WWII helmet. Iโve always been interested in history and especially that time frame, so itโs kinda cool that I have a piece of it. Other than thatโฆ my house? Hah we were really lucky with our timing and we were able to buy a home in our area before things really sky rocketed. Not to mention in California no less. ย

A ridiculous UTV with a custom paint job (picture below). It was my staff vehicle at Burning Man for years, and now it gets used at the barn where I work (and where I ride horses when not pregnant). For the record, I hate the color pink! But neon pink and black are the official colors of the team I managed, so it just felt too perfect. I call it my "toxic masculinity test," because some men absolutely refuse to drive it...even though it can go 45 MPH, tow 1500 lbs, and is a genuinely impressive work vehicle.

J., but it's still up in the air what those letters will stand for.ย Most of you have already seen the ridiculousness the boy is generating (recently he has added "Claudatious" to the list of things he allegedly likes.ย Needless to say this is also NOOOOO).ย There are two names he does not hate that I like for the "C," and it almost certainly will end up being one of those unless he comes up with something he really likes that is not completely inane.ย We have a "J" we both like pretty well, so I think that one's likely to stand.

My friend had a cerclage a month ago and she stayed overnight in hospital for monitoring then was discharged the next day. She wasn't allowed to drive for a week & still has regularly ultrasounds to check on things. She doesn't talk about it much and I don't want to pry so can't offer any more info.ย

@melyrae I would describe it as a tightening across my whole abdomen. If you press on it when you feel this it is rock hard compared to a little bit squishy around the baby. At the moment I am feeling them most around my pelvic area but you will start to feel them across the whole abdomen. They don't cause shortness of breath though (for me anyway) Fun fact: you actually start getting them from conception but you don't feel them until ~16-20 weeks.

Great wolf lodge was extremely packed with people not watching their kids. It's geared to young kids but nothing opens until 9. My kids will have been up for 3 hours by then.ย
We came with my mom and sister which is a great perk during the day because we can split who chases who. My mom thought it would be fun to share a room and have a sleep over. Well I got my kids to bed at 730 and tried to go to around 830. Well they're used to staying up until midnight and are the loudest people even when they're trying to be quiet. I'm pretty sure they found the noisiest things to do and drove me bonkers.ย My sister needs to go back home to pick up my niece in the morning to come back for Tuesday and I'm really hoping they both leave for the night and let us sleep.ย
I was going to say our UTV, but @lilienne yours is much cooler and a better color.ย

ย Right now the coolest thing I own is my home. We never owned a home growing up, my mom still has never owned a home of her own so right now Iโm still riding the high of being a first time homebuyer. Getting to build out first home and pay for it ourselves has felt so nice. My fiancรฉ is truly my best friend and the best partner I could ask for. I love doing life with him and am thankful for all that weโve been able to accomplish together. Next up: parenthood.

probably the hand painted portrait of our dog who passed away this past December. DH had a fun portrait of him commissioned of him dressed like an old time military general and itโs just such a fun picture and I love that I have it now especially as an additional thing to remember him by.

Honestly, our home. We've got 27 acres of land so we've got lots of room to play. We've got wood trails, a zip line, a swimming pool, and we are in the process of building my son a mini dirtbike track. Plus we've got a garden, fruit trees, chickens, and my flower garden is finally getting good and growing! I could honestly never leave this place and be a-okay with that.

Honestly, I donโt know Iโd describe anything I own as being super cool. My most prized purchase is our house lol we bought the land and built our house and itโs just lovely. We left some things unfinished to do as we go since we like having projects and itโs been great (although sometimes frustrating)!

most of my cats are geriatric and can't jump very high anymore, and they don't have access to the part of the house where the baby will be (it's complicated but my master bedroom is technically a MIL suite that is separate from the rest of the house) so I'm no help.

@babywiik training beforehand is a good idea too. I think I could pretty easily make the bassinet unappealing to them and that could deter them too.

My sister backed out on a cruise the two of us were booked for, and I had just met DH 2 months earlier. He bought out her ticket and we went on a 9 day cruise 2.5 months after we met! I love the memories we made on that trip. It was magical.
Among others, we have a '61 cadillac for Sunday cruising, a '53 chevy 4 door (my summer grocery getter), a '57 chrysler imperial (another beautiful boat of Sunday cruiser), and a mud truck we built up ourselves. Itโs pretty bitchinโ. Everything for the driver in our truck is adjustable so my 5โ5โ self and 6โ4โ DH can both drive it comfortably.

We have an ABSOLUTE blast in our little truck! I say little because in our group, we are the little one. My husband was a track guy and a hill-climber with his sport quad until I introduced him to mud trucks. We both like the track and trails, but my family is definitely more mud. I love that my family has shop nights and mud weekends together. This is my little sister's truck, Whiskey Throttle. Sheโs 21 and sheโs a badass. My dad thinks it's his truck, but we all know sheโs the boss โ ha! One of these pics is when she and I jumped Whiskey last year.
