At what age is it okay to take baby to the beach?

    I would say "any age" as well, but just IMO would not stay long. That is based on when I was young (around 5-6) I had sun stroke when at the beach with my family. I had a headache and vomited and, to my misery, we all stayed. I'd just recommend that baby create the time limit at the beach. Also, even if in the shade may still be too much for the baby if there too long.

    Just remember that babies skin burns very very easily and sunscreen is generally not recommended until 6mo. If you take baby to the beach just make sure to keep them out of direct sunlight, keep them from overheating, and don't stay long. We have taken our baby to the beach twice between 1 and 2 months old but went to where we can drive on the beach so we had our car with the AC and sat only in the shade behind the car.
