December 2022 Moms

How are you feeling??

Hi everyone! Looks like I’m the first one to make it to the December club. I found out I am pregnant with #1 2 days ago, at 9dpo!! If all goes well baby will be due December 4th 2022! Super excited to start our little family but it’s a little overwhelming thinking about all the changes happening! I’m curious what other people are feeling this early. My first symptom was low back pain but it has gotten better. My boobs are heavy and sore, I’m very fatigued but having trouble sleeping (maybe from excitement?), I’m also so hungry constantly but I have no appetite-especially for the first half of the day.

  • 12-4-22 here according to my app! Just found out today. Congratulations on your pregnancy! My symptoms have been about the same as yours - lower back pain, some mild cramping, and ever since finding out today I’ve been so thirsty!

  • I just found out yesterday as well. I was having crazy dreams and waking up in the middle of the night to pee which is very unusual for me. Today I was feeling pretty nauseous but also very hungry at the same time! I’m also nervous for the changes to come, but it’s exciting.

I found out on Tuesday and even though it's still so early it's super exciting. I also have been having crazy dreams and waking up and night to pee, which I don't really do. No nausea yet or anything, and was mildly crampy for a few days. Good luck to everyone!
  • Hi everyone! I’m due 12/1… I’ve been nauseous on and off and had some cramping. Super tired too! In fact I can’t seem to scrounge up the energy to get anything done! I’ve decided to just go with it and enjoy extra naps and laziness haha.
  • Hello! I found out at 10 DPO. I am due 6/2/22 — exactly 6 months after our daughter turns two! Even though I’m pretty nauseous and tired it still doesn’t feel real. I’m also trying to be cautiously optimistic since I’m so early on but we are very excited! Congratulations ladies! 🥳
  • I found out today, also at 9dpo!! My app says I'm due 12/7. I felt like I was hit by a truck with fatigue on dpo 5 and 6 and was nauseous and had back pain yesterday. But today I'm just generally tired and have tender boobs. If morning (afternoon and night!) sickness is like my other two pregnancies then zofran is going to be by BFF in a few weeks.

Hey all, I posted last week with some symptoms but I’m feeling very weird these past few days. Super upset stomach, now I’m getting some chills, light nausea but it’s lessened. I’m trying to not overthink it but of course I’m worrying it’s early signs of a miscarriage. No crazy cramping other than normal upset stomach stuff, no spotting or bleeding either. But still, I can’t help but be a little worried. Anyone else experience this?
  • Found out 10 dpo, depending on method of calculation I‘ll be due on the 3rd or 4th! It’s my first ever pregnancy, so looking forward to a wild and unpredictable ride. 💗

I felt crampy around when my period would have been, and my usual post-ovulation sore breasts are overstaying their welcome. 😂 I get randomly nauseous throughout the day, but so far I’ve been able to eat normally (including my usual spicy spicy foods)!

hi again, been about a week now. Still not many symptoms of any really. Had a lot of cramping last weekend, but my dr put me on progesterone due to previous miscarriages, so the cramping is likely from that. Thankfully they have stopped. Have had heart burn which I had with my daughter. A few moments of queasiness. Allergies are terrible cause it’s pollen season here in the south so my nose is too stuffy to tell if my smell is stronger. I keep hoping to get all the symptoms. Lack of symptoms is as my first clue something was wrong the last 2 times. Trying to stay positive since it’s still pretty early. Anyone else not having many symptoms?
  • Hello! I am at 4w6d, EDD 12/1, and in the last couple of days, the nausea has really ramped up to the point of waking me up in the night.  I had a bout of heartburn which is very odd as I am on heartburn meds already.  And today I felt like I ran full tilt into a glass door of exhaustion.

I am also getting tiny twinges around the ovary area, almost like period cramps but so much softer and shorter.  Has anyone felt something like this?  Is this normal?

@crownedpuffin I've been getting those twinges too. I've gotten them at different times on the left,  right,  and center almost as high up as my belly button. Regular growing pains at this stage.
  • @msd15. I haven’t had many symptoms either.  Currently at 5w3d.  Kind of freaking me out.  I had a few days early on where I felt a little off, but that’s about it.  I have full energy most days.  I’ve had a fleeting bit of nausea every few days, but nothing out of the ordinary.  Trying to stay positive!!
  • Hi! EDD is December 5th which is based on our conception date March 14th. I’m positive about the conception date because it was the night of our wedding. We just got back from our honeymoon a few days ago, and my period was late so I took a test out of an abundance of caution. The 3 tests I took all came back positive. We are excited, nervous, overwhelmed. My breasts are so swollen and tender. I have moments of extreme fatigue. Constantly peeing. Vivid dreams and I’m waking up throughout the night more than usual. I also feel really bloated. Some days I have loose stool and then other days I’m constipated. No nausea. Appetite has definitely ramped up. I also feel pretty dang emotional the past few days and have cried at times when I normally wouldn’t.

    @portentosa

That is a relief to hear that it is a normal thing.  At this point, I feel like I am hyperaware of every twitch and twinge going on.
  • So far I'm symptom free and I hope it stays that way for as long as possible! After my loss in January, though, every little bit of discharge is completely freaking me out. I had the most wicked morning sickness with my first from the 6 week mark until week 32 so I'm seriously hoping for an easier time this go around. But at the same time I want all the symptoms just so I can feel more pregnant, ya know?
  • Well I woke up today at 5 weeks exactly with full blown nausea. I was hoping I’d get off easy this time. My first pregnancy I had horrible nausea from 4 - almost 20 weeks and lost nearly 20 pounds because of it. 😭 I think I am going to experience the same thing with how bad it is today. Any tips for surviving nausea? I’m so scared!

@lulam13 I had the same thing my first pregnancy, lost a bunch of weight the first trimester. I had ginger tea in the morning, bean burritos for lunch (the beans absorb stomach acid) and sucked on hard candies all day long. I used full sugar candies because I was actively avoiding aspartame. I don't recommend full sugar candies... OMG, I had 11 cavities my first postpartem dental appointment! My second pregnancy I got a prescription for zofran and it was much smoother sailing.

@portentosa girl, yes to the burritos! 🤣🤣🤣 I’ve been living off of tortillas with just a tiny bit of cheese. Seems to help some. Last time I’d force myself to eat a saltine around 5:30 a.m. and that seemed to help. I also had dysgeusia so it make eating really hard. But I do agree, as backward as it sounds eating can really help if you can keep it down! I was too afraid to take medication the first time around but honestly if it’s just as bad I may do it this time. Did the zofran make a huge difference?
  • @lulam13 zofran was a whole game changer for me in my second pregnancy. The trick is to take it the moment you begin to feel the tiniest bit nauseous as it takes a bit of time to work. If you're at the point that you are about to throw up it won't help and you'll just throw it up too, but you can take it after you throw up and it'll help settle your stomach. It's a teeny tiny disolvable pill.
  • Hey everyone! I found out I was pregnant on Monday, making me about 4w3d with expected due date of Dec 5th. We are super excited after trying for 8 months. I felt nauseous here in there, and some very light bleeding today. I’m hoping it’s nothing, my doctor said I don’t need to worry. 🤞🏻 I’m so excited to experience everything pregnancy brings!
  • @lulam13 Hi! I also had terrible nausea leading to weight loss in an earlier pregnancy. Eating oyster crackers or saltines before getting out of bed helped a bit, as well as ginger ale/tea/chews. Eventually my OB prescribed Diclegis, which worked really well for me (though I hear Zofran sometimes works better)! So you have options. This time around I'm going to try to get ahead of it and ask for medicine if/when things get bad.
  • We found out last Sunday we are expecting and the due date is 12/4, today we are almost 5 weeks. We had a MC at 5 weeks and 2 days in October, so I’m a little nervous. This time I’ve had more symptoms, mainly sore breast, bloating, mild cramps and a little bit of acne. I’m hoping every symptom that I’m supposed to get comes when it’s time, I’d rather not feel so well and know that the pregnancy is still going strong.
  • I miscarried in January and had nausea and really sore breaths throughout the first trimester. I’m five weeks now and have almost no symptoms. My pregnancy tests continue to show that my hormone levels are rising appropriately but I’m definitely nervous that I have no breast tenderness or nausea this time!
  • Hi there! We're currently 12/11 so are at 4w 1d and I'm already experiencing significant nausea, fatigue, and low back pain. It's nice to look through the comments and see that it's both normal to have symptoms and not to have them! Anyone have tips on how to navigate work if the symptoms get worse? Thanks!
  • I’m at 4w 3d and the oddest symptom just started. I have hypersalivation (excess saliva) - which I read is decently common but is most of the time linked to nausea. No nausea over here, at least not yet. I definitely did not have hypersalivation with my first.  :D

  • I feel like I've been very symptomatic today but maybe it's just coincidence. I drank a glass of cold water on an empty stomach this morning and nearly threw up because of it and the nausea has lingered throughout the day. I also got a random nose bleed that I read could be related to hormonal changes?
  • I'm feeling huuuuge. I'm so bloated I already look 6 months pregnant and not in a cute way.

I’m the same!! Had a MC in January had felt more symptoms and am not almost 5 weeks and don’t feel much.
  • Still not feeling a lot of symptoms here at almost 6 weeks….some days I feel great, others like I’m mildly hungover.  Spoke with a nurse for the 1st time this week and she said 20-30% of us won’t really get sick…we shall see what group I fall into over the next couple weeks!
  • My main symptom so far is exhaustion.  Hats off to all of you who already have other kids to keep up with while pregnant!  I've had a few queasy moments, feel bloated at times, starting to notice my sense of smell increasing, and find that I'm freezing almost all day then cycling between hot & cold at night.  Thankfully all manageable so far...fingers crossed I stay this way!
  • Hello December mommy’s! Predicted due date for me is 12/4/22. We took a cycle off of medicated cycles and IUIs to prep for IVF….. well we got pregnant naturally!!

We are in shock after 2 years of infertility. Can’t wait for my first ultrasound on 4/13 with my fertility clinic. I’ll be 6.5 weeks along.

I only have sore boobs and frequent urination at night. I keep taking tests because I don’t feel pregnant. I’ve had 3 HCG draws and my numbers are certainly rising. The latest was over 5,000.

  • Just tested today at 11dpo..due dec...been having minor cramps in the abdomen and general weakness all day...
