    @lilienne Thank you!

    I've been thinking of you and sending you lots of positive vibes. Hopefully, the crochet project will be fun and we both feel amazing in the second trimester!

    because I have a traditional (vertical) C-section scar.  Increases (allegedly - I have data to challenge this) the risk of uterine rupture in labor.
    Current pregnancy -
    First BFP on 1/4/22.  Due date 9/13/22.

    Four prior losses, no living children - 1 first trimester miscarriage, 1 blighted ovum, 1 chemical, and one extreme premature live birth daughter who died at 15 days old.

    @wiseh thank you for thinking of me. It actually went really well! My cervix measured 4.56cm so no need for a cerclage at this time. Baby's heart rate was still good and he was kicking around. It feels really nice to make it past that hurdle. They did discover that I've got an autoimmune disease so I need to go have more testing to narrow it down. It's looking like Lupus or Sjogren's right now. I'll be seeing the MFM specialist in 2 weeks for another ultrasound and more testing.

    @puppiesandbabies thanks! I can't say I'm managing to stay optimistic but I'm doing okay at staying sane. The crochet project is a great distraction and a good way to stay busy while waiting. And I can now definitively say that a) I have had several better days in a row, and b) the Zofran was helping a lot with nausea but was definitely a factor in the headaches I was getting.

    @ashley35209 so happy to hear that so much went well at your last appointment! Sorry to hear about the autoimmune disease, though - I hope it isn't too big a stressor, with everything else you have going on right now.

    Some complicated chromosomal stuff going on - our fingers are crossed, but this may not go according to plan!

    @lilienne I am so glad that you are having successive better days! Oh my...does that mean you have to decide between the nausea and the headache?? Those are such tough choices.

    @puppiesandbabies it does, isn't that annoying? But if the nausea is improving slightly on its own, I would much prefer to avoid the headache. How have you been feeling?

    @wiseh Thank you! Just knowing it’s possible alleviates a bit of my stress.

    @lilienne Hopefully, your nausea improves. Prior to being pregnant, I truly did not know how much women suffer during pregnancy.

    I'm still feeling exhausted throughout the day. If I am able to sneak in a short nap (which I can't on most days), then those days are a tiny bit better. By the end of my work day, I feel that I can barely stand up to walk to the car. But, I am optimistic! I will feel better any day now!

    @puppiesandbabies oh man… the exhaustion is real around here 😩 put the toddler down around 7:30, tried to watch some TV with my husband after, fell asleep on the couch by 8:15 and then barely made my way to the bedroom and passed out immediately.

    The exhaustion sure is a thing still. Not as bad as first trimester, but once my energy is out, there is no getting it back. Not looking forward to going back to work next week. Spring break has been the best.

    @puppiesandbabies I have (possibly misplaced) faith that it will improve! I'm having a bit of a rough day today, but it's absolutely because I overdid it yesterday and the day before. The nausea is definitely better, though I caved and took zofran last night - I've always been worse at night, so far. Wishing you lots of napping opportunities in the coming days!
