I had the same exact scenario. Got pregnant the first month after stopping the pill. At my first appt (2/4) baby was measuring at 6 weeks 4 days. we were disappointed because we thought we were further along but so relieved once we saw the heart beat flicker. they asked me to come back in two weeks to check the size. I was nervous about that too but the nurse reassured me that was totally normal and standard practice in their office. Good to know other woman are in similar situations!
Hello! I went in for my very first ultrasound today. I am 7 weeks and 4 days. Baby’s heart rate is a strong 171. I also have a bicornuate uterus, so I’m hoping all goes well! I’m pregnant with a lil shrimp haha
@beeker2 I was in a similar situation! I went for my first scan 2 weeks ago expecting to be 7w4d but measured at 6w2d with a hb of 116. I have never really tracked my cycle so I knew the dates could be off but they wanted me to come back two weeks later to see how things were progressing. I was definitely nervous the whole two weeks wondering if it was a bad sign that they wanted to do a 2nd scan, but we went today and are measuring right on track at 8w2d and hb of 171. They told me the 2nd scan was just to officially change the due date from the estimated one based on my LMP. I know it’s impossible not to stress at this point so I’m not going to tell you not to, but wanted to share our positive outcome in a similar situation! Best of luck!
Went to the OB today and they couldn't see anything on the handheld device- after a stressful few hours, they got us in for a true US.. So thankful we got to see baby, and it was a false alarm. Measuring 8w2d - HR 174! After that rollercoaster of an afternoon I am in much need of a nap!
Hi! First time mom! We had our first ultrasound today at 7w4d and little nugget had a strong heartbeat at 154 BPM! Due date was pretty spot on and is 9/26/22. Any other end of September due dates?

FTM here! We had our first ultrasound today and baby measured right on track at 8w1d - due date 9/22. Heartbeat of 160! Looking at the screen I kept thinking, okay so that thing is mine? I’m the mother?! Haha….feeling relieved.
Had my 2nd ultrasound at 8 weeks 2 days and baby is measuring right on track. I couldn’t believe how much they grew in 2 weeks!! Heart rate was 180 bpm. Looks like a little gummy bear now 🥲 I go back in another 2 weeks for 10 week scan.

This one was from exactly one week ago at 8 weeks (I'm 9 weeks today!) Length and heartbeat were perfect at 1.6 cm (around .6 inches) and 167 BPM! I was so nervous since my first pregnancy ended in a miscarriage at 6 weeks last summer, so it was such a relief to see everything normal and to see/hear the little heart beat pulse on the screen!! I also had them check my HCG levels at 7 weeks, which were 50,681 -- one week before this picture. Now I just have to wait to get my full workup next Thursday to make sure everything keeps progressing normally!
This is our 10w1d ultrasound, baby is measuring 10w5d. HR 167. It felt so good seeing baby in an ultrasound again. It was reassuring. I know I’m pregnant (because fatigue is strong) but It feels real when the tech or doctor says everything looks good. She even showed us the umbilical cord. I am excited for the next appointment. Baby is due 9/12/22
It looks like an actual baby…maybe an alien baby, but a baby lol. The baby measured a little bigger this time, so they moved the due date back to 9/5/22 to match my LMP again.
We had our 2nd ultrasound on Valentines Day. We were measuring right on track at 11w1d! Heartbeat was 156bpm. Our tech even emailed us a short video of our baby jumping and sucking his/her thumb, it was so precious. My husband wasn't able to come to the first ultrasound, but was able to be there for this one. It was the best Valentines Day gift ever, seeing as this is the furthest we have made it. Can't wait to see our baby again in 4 weeks

Went in for our ultrasound expecting to be 7w6d based on LMP but measured at 8w2d.
For those that are curious, because we are in Costa Rica and pregnant we are eligible for free prenatal healthcare from the public system. However we’ve chosen to use a private doctor and midwife. We were very impressed with him. For our first appointment with our doctor and ultrasound the cost was $120.

Last Friday’s follow up ultrasound at 11 weeks. Everything still looks good and I feel so much less stressed! Very excited to get my blood work back now!!
Here’s our little one. This ultrasound was from Feb. 7. We also did the nipt at that time and found out yesterday that we are having a baby girl. We are so excited!

I am so relieved, and so excited! 9w3d, everything looks normal, doctor says we're on track and looking good. (I have no idea why the image is a link instead of an image on the page - I read the "how to gif" instructions on the welcome thread but I don't see any toolbar under "Leave a Reply," I just see a text box.)
@lilienne mine was like that as well when I first joined. All I had was a “leave a reply” box and the smiley face for emojis, but nothing else. That’s why my ultrasound is a link too.
I opened the app about two days ago and now I have multiple items to click on in my reply box, including the “insert image/url”. Im not sure why that is though.
@wendy-g I wonder if new users start out with more limited permissions and then get more options once we prove we’re human? ;) Either way, I’m just excited to have something to post!

Latest pic from my 12 week US. Baby boy is measuring right on target, 12w2d. The NT scan came back at 1.74 mm which is normal so I feel relieved. Counting down the days until I hit the second trimester and hopefully start feeling energized and actually maybe looking pregnant vs just bloated 😂
