I guess it’s time. 🙄 I got the old “the dryer shrank my clothes” when I tried on my non maternity shirt today. I’d been wearing some old ones lately and decided to go with a regular shirt.
15 weeks and I guess my belly is feeling all the snacks I’ve been shoving into it 😅
Well we ended up going bowling today. Halfway through the first game, I got sick to my stomach. I had to stop playing. So I let my friend's 5 year old take my turns. She did a better job than I would have. Came home to relax 😌 I've been napping and chilling out since. It's lovely.
@mdfarmchick it was actually nice enough to be outside and the wind didn’t hurt my face. We took full advantage of it! Car got vacuumed and washed, DD got to go to the playground. Great day all around

@mdfarmchick luckily the car isn’t too dirty since it’s new. I don’t trust my SO’s definition of clean to detail my car. How was the beach? 👎🏻 To dust storms
Here’s a random. Anybody else annoyed that you have to jump through hoops for these “free” welcome boxes for starting a registry online. “Do this, register for that, buy this, pay for shipping”.
@wigglyicecream I got a sample box of similac the other day. I didn’t sign up for anything so I’m guessing the ultrasound place sent it. But all the formula was part of the similac Recall 😒
@wigglyicecream he does not keep a clean car. But he does a great job at cleaning the car when I ask him very nicely.
We’ve been in a stupid dust storm for an hour of driving. I just want to be home already. In all of our trips to California, I have actually never been caught in a dust storm. At least it was only really bad for a couple minutes. Once I got caught in one 4 miles from my house and I couldn’t see the road but we also couldn’t stop because I knew no one else could see anything and I was terrified we would get plowed into from the rear. I just freaking hate them.
We had a productive day today. Got my husband’s new glasses picked out and ordered, and filed our taxes. Also realized that with the baby coming, we’d be getting way too big of a refund next year so I adjusted my withholding amount for the rest of the year. Yay for adulting.
We did some shopping today because mh was off. He gives me shit anytime on my phone but can sit there on his. 🙄
@wigglyicecream literally though. It never used to be like that except amazon. I did make an amazon registry this time around and out a stroller cup holder I was going to buy anyways on there. The box was, uhm, not great. I got one with ds2 as well and this time it didn’t have anything in it….
@paytonpedro thanks for posting this so I don’t have FOMO. The target welcome gifts and BBB were the same except add bottles. I loved they gave sample bottles even though I had to go through almost all of them before I found one that worked
@wigglyicecream I’m glad I took a picture to send to mh so I already had it! Targets was way better in both of my previous pregnancies. I like all the trial/travel sized lotions and soaps for the diaper bag and this welcome box was kinda lacking.

@mdfarmchick love that!! Sometimes I mention to my what I’m craving without expecting anything, just to make conversation, and he will come home with it after work. I could live off those naked smoothies lately, and he’s brought me some unprompted a couple times. 😍
random: Mh is a mailman (and it’s raining today, poor him. ☹️) and I have 4 packages coming today. 😬😬😬 I was hoping they would come staggered but because of Presidents’ Day, they all come today. Therefore, I had to tell mh I had 4 packages coming (ugh), and to buy our mailman a coffee. Lol.
Random: we’re going to see Jackass Forever tomorrow and the girls are going to spend the night with my in-laws. Pregnant me is very excited for some movie popcorn.
We NEVER go to the movies so it’ll be nice just to do something different, sit in silence to watch a movie and the theater has the really nice leather recliners.
The girls also rarely rarely stay away from home so it’ll be nice to have a night to ourselves!!
@and_peggy I’ve been creeping watching for it. New boards are always so entertaining lol. Ds1 likes to flip through the calendar and every time it’s blowing my mind how quickly (but also slowly) things are moving along!
@and_peggy I’ve been wondering when they would open it. I saw another TTGP gal graduate to Oct with EDD of 10/29 and I was anticipating it being soon. Also 😳 most of us got pregnant at some point in November now the bmb is open !!

Thanks to everyone who gave me support a couple weeks ago. I'm trying to dive back in and reply when I can. I'm feeling in a much better headspace, but I had to start having some boundaries or being more strict about boundaries already set in place. Feeling crappy physically didn't help either. I just felt so BLAH in many ways. Again, I appreciate the love and support from all of you.
I dropped mh off lunch on the way to get ds1 a bday cake and ice cream. I told mh we would not be getting chocolate or Neapolitan because I didn’t like them (and neither does ds1). Ds1 picked cotton candy and I definitely just brought chocolate and peanut butter home. 😝 And already had a bowl. 🤣 What BabyG wants, BabyG gets….
@paytonpedro Chocolate peanut butter ice cream is literally a year round staple in our household. And it's because of the grownups who live here, not the kids.
So I finally got in and got some lab work done on Monday and the lab results were released this afternoon. I noticed one of the results was out of range so (stupidly) decided to google what the lab tested & what out of range results could imply and subsequently ended up having a panic attack over it. I've since had my very rational husband calm me down and called the doctor's office to see if they have any concerns over the result. I'm waiting on a call back. But ugh, this is not the first time I've done this to myself. I need to remember Google is not always my friend & is not a doctor.
