Got to see our little one today! That sweet little heartbeat was music to my ears at 150bpm. Measuring just as we should at 8+1. Due date is September 7th!

@trapperkeeper87 Yay! I was bummed that my OB doesn't print out pictures anymore, they just send you a link to your phone. Don't they know there's something special about holding that paper photo?!

That's... really sad. I only got three this go around (I mean, the baby looked the same from any angle she could get, so it's fine), but I couldn't imagine only have a link! Nice for sharing, but come on, staring at it in your hands just makes it feel so much more real. Especially the special paper they use.
Had our first ultrasound today! Based on my last period I would be 7 weeks 4 days but I am measuring 6 weeks 2 days. I have a longer cycle so we suspect that’s why! We saw and heard the heartbeat going strong but I was so in shock that I forgot to ask the heart rate! Just such a happy site to see!
@lucyg00cy they scheduled my confirming appt on Feb 9th at 8 weeks and said I wouldn’t get my first prenatal appt until two weeks after that at 10 weeks. This is my first time and I have PCOS and they don’t seem to care I’m nervous.
@knottie506acfe7a46cb33d right!! I got diagnosed with PCOS in high school but have been managing it quite well for years now, but I’m still so disappointed they didn’t give me an ultrasound when I went in at 8 weeks. They also never weighed me so I wonder if they forgot...I guess I’ll get weighed at my 10 week appointment when they do the full pap and ultrasound. Waiting is killing me lol
Had my first ultrasound today! Went in a little early because I’ve been spotting on and off. Thought I was 7w6d but am actually 6w6d so new due date is 09/17! Heartbeat was 130 bpm and it was the best feeling in the world to see that little flicker ♥️ Now somehow must patiently wait until week 20 when I get to see him/her again…
I totally forgot to take a pic of my ultrasound pic and it’s out in my car lol. It’s late and way too cold to go get it now. Little bean measured at 7weeks (I am 7w3d based on lmp). HR was 124 which is totally normal for 7 weeks. I let out a huge sigh and thanked the ultrasound tech when she showed me the flicker of the heartbeat.
I'm due 9/5/2022 according to my dating scan that I had last week. I am currently 9 weeks today. Based on my period, it seemed behind but my cycles range from 28-35 days so they weren't concerned. Heartbeat was 165. Having a nuchal scan in a few weeks.
Hi. FTM here 👋 Below is my first ultrasound taken at 5+6 (I was off by 5 days due to my irregular period). I went in early due to some spotting & was quickly reassured by seeing the flutter of the heart beat 💓 I had never been soo full of joy in my entire life!
My husband and I will be heading back on the 15th to ensure viability and to hopefully hear the FHR. As of now, our due date is 24SEP22.
I have yet to share the news but I'm eager to do so. I'm hoping all goes well at our next appointment 🙏
Big sigh of relief today. Went in for my first appointment and first ultrasound. Measuring at 7 weeks 2 days instead of 8 weeks, but makes sense due to my cycle.
Feeling SO much better after seeing baby was doing okay and had a strong heartbeat. Measuring 2 days ahead of where I thought at 8 weeks 3 days, due date 9/9. Still will be nervous until we get into the second trimester though.
Mini heart attack thinking there was 2! But only one, growing right on track from our last ultrasound & no evidence of any further bleeding so should be good from now. Heart beat of 135
Here is my first u/s. I thought I was around 6w2d but measured at 5w1d. YS was visible but no fetal pole. Was supposed to go back today (2 weeks later) for another u/s. However the office closed due to weather (8 inches of snow) so now I have to wait & the suspense is killing me! Anyone else have a similar u/s at 5w?
@babyrell22 I measured a week smaller at my 6 week u/s too. They could see the fetal pole, but no heartbeat yet. I went back a week later, and everything looked great with a strong heartbeat. Doctor just said it was a week too early, probably due to later ovulation. She officially moved my due date back a week. It was a nerve wracking week, but doctor just shrugged it off as timing. Good luck at your appointment next week!
6 weeks, 6 days(as of yesterday. 7 weeks as of today). due date is September 23rd i got to hear the heartbeat but unfortunately my spouse wasn't allowed a day off work so i went with someone else. but he was really happy to see the ultrasounds and even helped me read them
@jhysmath my pics weren’t super clear either. They didn’t get printed out from the ultrasound machine like normal, but rather printed out on a regular printer. Hopefully I will get better ones next time.
After what feels like ages we finally got to see our little one for the first time today. Measuring 10 weeks and 1 day, EDD of Sept 5 😍 They didn’t have the sound on so we couldn’t hear the heartbeat but we saw it and saw the the little thing moving a ton which was so fun. I feel so relieved and am looking forward to getting our lab work back, we should know the gender in just a few weeks 💗💙
@mk2022x@laj0217 seriously! I’m not sure what I was expecting but baby-like wasn’t even on my mind until they popped up on the screen. It’s just wild how fast things are happening now, our bodies are pretty incredible 🤰👶🏼
I conceived on my first cycle off birth control and I know I ovulated late. Based on lmp I would be like 8ish weeks although I knew that would be wrong going into my ultrasound. At my first ultrasound on Jan 31, baby measured 6 weeks 2 days with a heart rate of 113, seems all fine and everything but my doctor wanted me to come back in in 3 weeks to "check size" again. He didn't suggest anything was wrong but it just seems abnormal to be asked to come back in again for another ultrasound so soon... Do you think it's suspicious? Anyone else asked to come back in to confirm size?
@beeker2 my doctor had me come in twice for dating ultrasounds. The second ultrasound showed appropriate growth and a heartbeat but did confirm the typical 28 day cycle was not accurate for me. They pushed back my due date by a week at the second appt since baby measured a week smaller consistently.
Got to see my little Bumpy (that’s it’s name til birth) last night! My 4th pregnancy and this is the first one I finally got to actually see. I almost cried when they showed me the heart beat! Only saw the technician yesterday so still have to wait to see my OB for more accurate measurements and due date but just so relieved to see that heart beat and see Bumpy move!
Sigh of relief. My due date stayed the same 9/20. I’m 8w1d but measuring 8w4d. HR 182. So happy things look good so far! Going to a maternal fetal med dr in a few weeks for next check up. Very happy and grateful!
Hello everyone!! I had my first ultrasound yesterday! My little bean is on track for their original due date of 9/19. I am currently 8 weeks 3 days along. Baby has a strong heartbeat at 171 bpm. We are so excited! This is our first baby and get to have another peek at baby in a couple of weeks 2/23.
We are thinking about doing the early gender testing. Has anyone done it?
@running_mom_ I had the NIPT done last time and elected to find out the gender, yes.
Current pregnancy - First BFP on 1/4/22. Due date 9/13/22.
Four prior losses, no living children - 1 first trimester miscarriage, 1 blighted ovum, 1 chemical, and one extreme premature live birth daughter who died at 15 days old.
@whitta1015 and @kboydbowman Thanks! I wanted to know if it was accurate! We are thinking about getting it done and are leaning towards yes. But just wanted to make sure
