How are you feeling?: still nauseous, though at least now I'm getting some relief from the Sea Bands and ginger. This is getting old
Rants/Raves: Kids are back in school! (This is a rave because I'm always biting my nails that they're going to close school "due to covid" even though nothing else is closed and school is safer than most places)

GTKY- What is the best concert you’ve ever been to, or what is your dream concert to go to? I saw the Who in 2008 and they were excellent. That was pretty much my dream concert at the time. The only other dream concert that I did not get to see while I lived in a big city for college was Fall Out Boy, and I would love to see them.

How are you feeling?: Physical symptoms are pretty mild. Anxiety is currently sky high, I barely slept last night. Really really hoping this appointment goes okay.
Rants/Raves: our school district opted to go virtual after winter break, it’s the right call but I’m so bummed for my kiddo.

GTKY- What is the best concert you’ve ever been to, or what is your dream concert to go to? Radiohead was the best. My bucket list concerts are Arcade Fire and MGMT.

How are you feeling?: sleeping like crap, low level nausea all day with waves of feeling super nauseous
Rants/Raves: back to work tomorrow after 12 days off - not looking forward to being back in the grind; also, there’s a good chance MH can’t come to our ultrasound on Wednesday because of all the COVID cases in our area 😭

GTKY- What is the best concert you’ve ever been to, or what is your dream concert to go to? I’m a big country music fan so getting floor seats to Jason Aldean and Luke Bryan several years ago was awesome. Also saw George Strait and Chris Stapleton a couple years ago which was great.

How are you feeling?: Physically depends on the day - some days super fatigued and/or nauseous but other days just fine. Mentally very anxious.
Rants/Raves: I’m just ready to feel better. My partner isn’t allowed at appts like others have mentioned and I hope that changes at some point!
Questions: **Potential TW** I’ve had some brown discharge off and on for the last couple weeks (starting week 7) and after doing some hard core cleaning yesterday it was worse than it had been and had the coffee ground look to it. The info my doc gave me at my first appt said not to worry about spotting, but I can’t help but be concerned. I guess my question is at what point should I worry?

Upcoming Appointments: Impatiently waiting for Jan 25 for my intake appointment. @laddy12 I am pretty sure our local hospital still has a no extra people rule in place, so I’ll likely be going it alone.
How are you feeling?: Mostly just tired, and weird food aversions. Meat is a hard no right now. I am starting to feel like this pregnancy is more real every day.
Rants/Raves: My oldest turned 6 today. The girl that made me a mom. It’s a rant and a rave, because I love watching her grow up, but I also miss every younger version of her, and it’s all happening too quickly. Trying not to ugly cry today. Probably will though.
GTKY- What is the best concert you’ve ever been to, or what is your dream concert to go to? The best concert I ever saw was Benjamin Booker in this little club in Providence, RI about 6 years ago. He was incredible. I’ve heard that Fiona Apple puts on a great show, and I’ve loved her since high school, I’d love to see her live.

GTKY- What is the best concert you’ve ever been to, or what is your dream concert to go to? I’ve seen a lot of great shows at music festivals so it’s hard to pick one best. I would love to be able to take my dad to a Bruce Springsteen concert though since that’s his favorite!

How are feeling? Anxious. I’ve bled 2 different times now, once bright red with cramping. Once brown with cramping. I’ve had a scan before this and everything was good but now I’m freaked out again.

Rants/Raves: I had my appt today and I asked my dr to listen for a heartbeat knowing full well it’s too early and there was a solid chance she wouldn’t be able to find it. She said she’s always up for a challenge and FOUND IT!!! Beautiful little heart beat of 168 then 175!!! So much higher than my boys and I’m hoping it’s a girl even though I know it doesn’t correlate lol. I almost cried when she found it! I was able to video it and send it to mh. 🥰

GTKY- What is the best concert you’ve ever been to, or what is your dream concert to go to?
Hands down best concert, and bucket list concert, and most expensive concert, was Willie Nelson!!! I just feel it was so once in a lifetime- and I just love him so much! Second would be Florida Georgia Line- right after they got big we saw them at an intimate venue (that they booked prior to getting big) of like 200 people and it was so much fun!

Rants/Raves: total TMI, I'm sorry! These progesterone suppositories are disgusting! If it was once a day, I could just do it before bed and it wouldn't be a big deal but I have to do them twice and it gives me the nastiest discharge and it bothers me all day.

GTKY- What is the best concert you’ve ever been to, or what is your dream concert to go to? Foo Fighters were amazing. I actually don't even listen to their music, but a friend of the family is friends with Dave Grohl so he took me once. So much fun! Eric church is amazing, Rise Against was good back in the day, G love, BB king was epic! Of Monsters and Men was so much fun! I'm sure I could keep going but I won't!

How are you feeling?: nausea and aversions are kicking my butt. For me, my entire kitchen is one, big, nightmarish aversion. This happened with my first, so I'm fully expecting we will not be cooking for the next few months...
Rants/Raves: forgot how much I hate the first trimester. Can't wait to get past the nausea and aversions.

GTKY- What is the best concert you’ve ever been to, or what is your dream concert to go to? I've been to rock shows in stadiums, and that was fun at the time. But honestly the best "concert" was seeing the MN Orchestra play the music along with the Harry Potter movies. I saw movies 2, 3, and 4 over the span of a few years. Such a fun experience!

My favorite was David Bowie, he was amazing. This should probably be an UO, but I don’t really like concerts. Crowds + lines + standing? I’m more into a sofa + Spotify.
@and_peggy I hope the appointment tomorrow goes well! Potty training is tough. Mine was maybe ready right around when we were expecting our second and we just didn't do it then because it was terrible timing, and did it later when he was almost 3 also. Good luck!

We went to 98 Rockfest in October. Mainly went for Candlebox, Seether and Shinedown. It was a great time and really the only fun thing we've done since Covid. I'd love to see MCR in concert though.

GTKY- What is the best concert you’ve ever been to, or what is your dream concert to go to? I saw Dermot Kennedy at Trees in Dallas in 2018 before he was huge and it was by far the best concert. I don't do big crowd concerts, so it was a dream.

How are you feeling?: Well, I WAS feeling better for a few days. Eating normally, not nausea, and then yesterday I was punched in the gut with nausea and threw up my entire lunch minutes after eating it. The rest of the day I was scared to eat, but managed some toast and rice. Today, I'm going slowly with dry cereal and I feel yucky. Blah.
Rants/Raves: Not thrilled with this turn of events. My poor husband, lol. I didn't even have time to run to the bathroom, just grabbed the trash can by the couch and expelled all the tacos. He hates throw up and has a hair trigger gag reflex. Luckily it happened so fast that he didn't have time to get sick in response. He was very doting on me the rest of the day and took my daughter to school this morning so I could sleep longer.

GTKY- What is the best concert you’ve ever been to, or what is your dream concert to go to? I've seen Jason Mraz 4 times, though his early days were the best. Smaller venues, acoustic sets, less spectacle. The last one I went to was years ago and it was at a huge stadium with laser lights and felt impersonal. Oh well. Still love his music. I'm an OG fan from high school when his first single dropped.
My other favorite show was Muse. I love them so much! MH and I went when my daughter was in the NICU (we'd gotten tickets before she was born). I felt guilty but my parents watched our oldest daughter and urged us to have one night of fun. The venue was in the same city as the hospital with our daughter so it felt meant-to-be. (Our daughter was in a NICU that was in a different state from where we lived, we were gonna travel to the concert and stay at a hotel, but when the concert date came, we were staying a few blocks away from the venue at the SLC Ronald McDonald House.)

Rants/Raves: I have off work this week. After a long break, I was looking forward to a week of alone time. But MH's company is going remote so he'll be home working the rest of the week, and it sounds like daycare will be closing due to an exposure either tomorrow or Thursday. For 10 days. So not only is my week of solitude gone, I'm going to have a stressful, toddler-ful re-entry to work next week. Blerg. Fortunately I found home COVID tests today at CVS when I went to get a prescription and it felt like striking gold lol.

GTKY- What is the best concert you’ve ever been to, or what is your dream concert to go to? Oh wow, hard one. Big music/concert nerd. Probably the most recent show I went to, which was part of LCD Soundsystem’s residency at Brooklyn Steel. Love a small venue, 1800 people. I’m mostly an indie/alt rock music listening… with an exception of a deep love for Adele. I flew to London to see her twice, the 2nd time being her last ever live show in 2017.
