  • @anniemarie887 Haha. Yeah, that's a great one.

Speaking of SNL, MH and I watched the new Michael Che special on Netflix last night. It was pretty good. LOL. There were some "man discovers how shitty periods are" moments in there that had me rofl'ing. https://www.vulture.com/article/michael-che-shame-the-devil-netflix-review.html

  • @kiki047 @bows22 I have one! I have admittedly not used it in a few months, but I do love it! I have been trying to get my butt back on it recently, just have been busy. I really enjoy the classes and the app. Since you can do things from your phone, I also use the app to meditate before bed at night. I got the regular bike, not the bike+ but it's worth it, I think.

  • @kiki047 @bows22 🙋🏻‍♀️ Pandemic purchase and love it. I never have a desire to go back to a gym. I also have the regular bike, we have a tv in the basement with a fire stick so I can do other classes using that, which is so easy. I use it for fun, pick classes usually by music. My husband is a pretty intense cyclist and uses it as a “training device” with the enduro zones and stuff. I think the fact that it’s versatile like that is why it’s a great bike. I never thought we would be the kind of ppl to own at home gym equipment.

Enter my referral code: VZUCQ6 during Bike purchase, and get $100 towards bike accessories.

  • @kiki047 … or you can do what I did and just buy PTON. 🤣🤣🤣 Alas it won’t get you in shape.

  • @bows22 we should both do it, and then we can have workout dates LOL. I can think of a million things I'd rather do instead of exercise but alas, we can hold each other accountable ;)
@tessiesmom26 I love that they've expanded to do workouts other than just spinning, so that has definitely swayed me a little since I first heard about it.
@anniemarie887 I've seen reels of random instructors (mostly Cody Rigsby because he looks like a riot) and it's definitely the music that would attract me too. MH has wanted a bike for a long time too. We had a horrible old recumbent bike that we got rid of because we both hated it (and also because it was a gift from his ex-MIL and he just wanted it out of our house). Thank you for the referral code. I think I'm going to get the package that includes shoes, weights and headphones because it's the same price as just the bike right now (even though I've heard the shoes are really narrow and uncomfortable), but do you have the HR monitor? I feel like I'll want that too.
@acleverusername I clearly missed the boat on that one. I'm hanging my head in shame as an investment advisor. But I do own funds that owned PTON in their portfolio and did fairly well on those with zero sweat off my back so I think it's still a win  Now I shall use some of that money to buy an actual bike. Ha!

@acleverusername i'm feeling extra feisty right now about dealing with other people's pregnancy tests but also her test pics were wack. I legit had no idea what to make of them except it seemed like she'd been messing with the images. She was very polite about removing the photos basically as soon as I posted my reply, though.
    History
I am doing this on my own. Left ovary and fallopian tube removed due to cyst/necrosis just after birth. Right ovary and tube still purport to function.
Began TTC in Aug '18 @ age 35
5 or 6 (or 7?!) cycles using frozen donor sperm, ICI. All BFN
    Mar-Jun '19 IUIs, all BFN
Began process of referral for RE in spring of '19, blood tests confirm low AMH (.54) but all else is good.
May '19 HSG shows open tube, but ultrasound suggests fibroids
MRI in June '19 confirms two large fibroids, one growing through wall of uterus
In June '19 I move from California to Oregon, disrupting my insurance, referrals, etc. 5 months spent piecing it all back together.
Nov. '19 attempted myomectomy (vaginal approach) failed. 2nd surgery using laparoscopic method in Jan '20 is successful.
April '20 --> June '20, natural IUIs, all BFN.
July? saline ultrasound and bubble test demonstrate open tube
July '20 clomid cycle cancelled for thin lining
Aug-Oct, 3 femara cycles, all BFN
RE referral. While waiting to set up an appointment Nov-Jan, I continue with natural cycles and ICI, using a known donor, BFN...
Jan '21 more bloodwork, AMH is worse (.30), FSH high albeit not catastrophic at 13.2. hysteroscopy all good. "looks cozy!" says the RE.
Feb '21, injectables (menopur, novarel), iui, BFN (doc said the frozen donor sperm sample had the "best numbers she'd ever seen!")
Mar '21, injectables, iui cancelled due to lack of follicles, converted to at home-insem. BFN
May '21, first IVF round cancelled due to cyst.
July '21 IVF: standard antagonist. 225menupur/225gonal-f/cetrotide/5000u trigger. 8 eggs retrieved, 7 mature, 5 fertilize, 4 made it to blast. 3 are 4AB, 1 is 4BB. PGT-A results all abnormal.
Oct '21 somewhat improved AMH (.51) and significantly improved FSH (8.9). Maybe it's all the pills I swallow.
    Dec -21, standard antagonist. 225menupur/225gonal-f/cetrotide/5000u trigger. retrieval yields 5, 4M, 2 reach day-6 blast (4AB & 4BB). 1 low-level mosaic (chr. 3 deletion), 1 complex abnormal.
Feb '22 FET (low-level mosaic): CP.
May '22 egg retrieval, lupron flare protocol. HGH priming for 1 month before stims; md lupron 20/20u daily; menopur 225, follistim 225, 10k trigger.

  • @kiki047 i didn't know what you were talking about when i saw your post mid-day, but the new fonts have now arrived on my screen and i'm liking it too.
