Re: Symptoms-November
When you grow several CUP sizes in a matter of weeks!?!? It boggles the mind.
also, I’m exactly 13 weeks (second pregnancy), and I think I felt a kick! Too soon?
And yay for a kick!! 💜
So basically just watch your elbows/wrist and if they are constantly bent, especially like when you read or text on a phone, you might irritate a nerve. Carpal tunnel syndrome (I think this is your thumb/index going numb, different nerve than what I pinched) is super common in pregnancy!
ETA: spelling
Hopefully it goes away soon for you soon, if it's lingering!
Ok, can we talk hemorrhoids? 🙈 Has anyone managed to get rid of one with tucks pads alone? Naturally since DD was a big ol' girl, I got one towards the end of that pregnancy, and it pops up now and again normally, and came back when I got pregnant again this time and is just sticking around, being annoying. I've had good luck getting rid of it with cortisone, but I'm hesitant to use that while pregnant, especially if the hemi isn't actually painful. Do I just need to be diligent with tucks pads?
Also, splurge and by the softest, thickest toilet paper you can find. The Costco ultra soft is basically the same as charmin but not as expensive, and it is seriously so much more comfortable than just about any other brand.
I'm always considering a bidet, but we have no way to hook it up to hot water so I'm scared for the winter and icy cold water 😳 but it would have been SO nice for post partum, which thankfully will be when it's hot AF outside this time so I might just pull the trigger.
@MrsLaLaBug UGH I just got my results on mychart and my range was 140. Normal is 130-135 so I’m low key expecting a call from my doctor. I think I was pre-diabetic prior to getting pregnant — covid was just so challenging for me wfh and homeschooling and I put on about 40-50 pounds in the course of 18 months from stress eating and changes in lifestyle. Trying to stay positive and just keep making good choices. It’s hard though when pregnant and you want an occasional treat!
Please tell me I'm not the only one!
