    Team Finding Out/Blue/Pink/Green:
    Team finding out! Hopefully blue

    Upcoming Appointments:
    August 9th!

    How are you feeling?:
So tired, so moody and so nauseous

    Rants/Raves:
I went in for my hcg levels at a private clinic and they didn't call me back with the results and they're closed for two days. 😫

    Questions:
How much folic acid should I take?

    GTKY: Fave summer snack?
    Oooh popcorn!
  • @Jennifer homemade icecream?!? Umm yum! Cookies and cream is one of my favs!

@geminigirl16 I'm glad your dr is nice. I really hope that baby is just a little small, and that your pregnancy progresses. I'm hoping for you
  • @geminigirl16 I’m so sorry you’re not feeling optimistic. I’m thinking of you as you wait and I hope the next appointment provides reassurance.
  • @pretzelmama28 Here they recommend a prenatal with 1000 folic acid:) Sorry they didn't call you back before closing!!! I would be so annoyed!!!
  • EDD / Weeks + Days: 3/25

Baby is the size of a(n) / interesting fact: Sweet pea

FTM/STM/TTM+: Hopefully STM, currently mom of an 18 mth old boy

Team Finding Out/Blue/Pink/Green: Hoping it's a girl; but we are going to get the doctor to send our friends the gender to do a reveal. The last time she did a scan of baby and told us "and here you can see the penis!"

    Upcoming Appointments: 4 Aug

How are you feeling?: Cautiously optimistic. I am always checking when I wipe and trying to will the week to pass faster.

Rants/Raves: I had boob soreness yesterday which reminded me strongly of when I went too long without pumping back when I was still breastfeeding.

Questions: How is everyone keeping fit? I was playing tennis for a while but I'm not so sure I should continue.

GTKY: Fave summer snack? It's summer all the time here, and almost all of our fruits are imported. I love cherries year round.
  • @geminigirl16 thinking of you ❤️ Hoping you ovulated late and they have a heartbeat at the next US. The beginning is always the scariest but I have faith! ❤️❤️❤️
  • @bananasb I've just been doing the elliptical for 30 minutes a day, but the nausea has gotten so bad I might have to take a break:/ I will probably start up my kickboxing and weight routines instead and see how that goes...
  • @geminigirl16 hoping these next two weeks go by fast and that the next scan is more promising! Grow, baby grow!

@bananasb Does walking around Target count as exercise? I just haven't been in the mood to do any form of exercise due to fatigue and nausea!

  • @Panaceia thanks for the info! I have a prenatal with no folic acid and one with about 1000mcg so I'll take that one. Yes! I'm so frustrated but I'm hoping good news means no news.
  • @jlbaker08 I hate, hate, hate the glucose testing!! Good luck and hope it goes by quickly.
@trails15 I love the olympics too!

    EDD / Weeks + Days: 5 +4

Baby is the size of a(n) / interesting fact: App. says a sesame seed...pretty boring.

    FTM/STM/TTM+: TTM (2 DD's)

Team Finding Out/Blue/Pink/Green:  Definitely finding out! I fully believe it is a girl...I just picture us an all girl family. I suspect the dog and my husband will remain outweighed.

Upcoming Appointments: Third week of August. Seems like a long way off.

How are you feeling?: A bit tired, food aversion coming, and a little bit of nausea comes every now and then. Both my pregnancies the nausea hit full force at 6 weeks.

    Questions: Not at the moment.
  • @Lcardinal04 I picture us as an all girl family too ❤
  • @geminigirl16 I am so sorry you got disappointing news. The waiting is the absolute hardest. Be kind to yourself and allow yourself to feel whatever you need to ❤️

@Nik102 I had essentially the same rant as you. I have so many coworkers leaving the ER setting for surgical services, infusion centers, and out patient clinics. It’s starting to become too much to stay. Surviving the last 18 months felt nearly impossible but to feel it ramping back up again has brought on so many feelings of overwhelm and dread.
  • EDD / Weeks + Days:  March 12/ 7+6

Baby is the size of a(n) / interesting fact:  blueberry

    FTM/STM/TTM+: STM, DD is 2.5

Team Finding Out/Blue/Pink/Green: finding out but probably not until anatomy scan

Upcoming Appointments:  8/5 first OB appointment after graduating from my RE!

How are you feeling?: tired and nauseated. Migraines were daily for about 2 1/2 weeks but seem to be letting up a bit!

Rants/Raves:  went on vacation this week for the first time in 2 years! Felt so good!!! But already dreading going back to work on Monday!

    Questions: no questions

GTKY: Fave summer snack? Ice cream!!!

@nightnurse I’m in the ICU and we are losing people at an alarming rate.  I have been looking around myself the past week at opportunities not directly at the bedside or more of an outpatient setting. It’s sad, I never thought I’d feel this way because I do love critical care. As of right now I’m allowed to have people at my appointments but I’m sure that’s going to change soon since Covid is on the rise here.  Hang in there!
