So I had my IUD removed on March 22nd, only after a couple weeks of it being in. Before that I was on birth control pills when my period came every four weeks on a Thursday. After the IUD removal it was about 7 weeks between periods, my last one was on April 29th. I'm not sure exactly how long it would be till my next period or when exactly I'd be ovulating. But it's been 6 weeks and 6 days sine my last period, and I had unprotected sex on June 7th. I've been having all these different symptoms from breast pain, food aversions, dizziness, back pain, even pimples on the lips of my vag. I took a pregnancy test yesterday but it was negative, so stressed from this whole experience. I really feel it in my gut that I'm pregnant, but I need a home test to be positive before I get a blood test, and since my cycle is so irregular I have no idea when a positive would show up. Please someone give me some answers or point me in the right direction, I'm so lost.
All you can really do at this point is just wait a couple days and test again, unfortunately. Without knowing when you ovulated, it's hard to say what's going on.

I'm plaining to test again tomorrow, as that will be 7 weeks since my last period.
Because your cycles are irregular, it really doesn’t matter when your last period is for testing purposes. Test based off when you had unprotected sex: June 7th. Yesterday would have been 8 days since then, and that’s pretty early to turn a test. It’s typically recommended to wait until you miss your period to test. On average, there is about two weeks between ovulation and the next period. So if you’re pregnant, you will most reliably turn a test between Monday, the 21st, and Friday, the 26th, (date range based on how long sperm can live in your body waiting for an egg). However, you often can turn a test earlier than that, so just test again in a couple days.
If it hits the end of next week with no sign of a line, you can be pretty certain you aren’t pregnant.
Coming off of IUD, I had pregnancy "symptoms." It was weird, but my body just needed to readjust. Just testagsin in a day or two if negative then next week as PP stated, if your period has not started.
I took a test this morning and it has a very faint control line and an absent pregnancy line, according to several sites that's a positive, but I'm still uncertain.
@motherofunicorns1998 if the control line isn't strongly visible, the test is invalid. I wouldn't trust any test that without a good, solid control line.

Um no, no control line = invalid test. Get another and try again.

No second line = a positive? What kind of websites are you reading?! Just follow the instructions that come with the test. They are very clear, and there’s no need to reference other websites. Just wait a few days and test again.

You can also get one that reads “pregnant” or “not pregnant”..... andplusalso, I’d make an appointment for those pimples..... and start temping/taking opks/tracking CM if you want to know more about what’s going on with your body. if you don’t get a period or a positive after 60 days from your last period you can see if your doc will want to jump start your cycle with medication.
It can take a while for your body to regulate after BC, especially since you didn’t have it in for long and your body is like ✨confusion✨ Unfortunately no one can tell you what’s going on. But like one of the previous posters said, if the only time you had unprotected sex was June 7, it might still be too early to turn a test anyway.
Re: So confused if I'm pregnant, irregular period, IUD removal.
