I have seen some other BMBs include this type of support thread, so I thought I would add it here for us too. (Stolen from Dec 21)
This thread is to support anyone experiencing spotting and/or bleeding. If you do experience a loss, you are still welcome to create your own post if you'd like-don't feel obligated to post in here.
Conversations surrounding these issues can be discussed here freely. The TW in the title applies for the whole thread. Please beware of reading ahead if you think you might be triggered by conversations about spotting/bleeding.
Finally, remember that most of us are not medical professionals, and even if we were, it's always best to call/visit your doctor with questions or concerns. Feel free to ask questions and voice concerns, but please do not expect anyone here to be able to offer you anything but support. The most important thing to do is to call your doctor. They can offer answers; we can offer support.
Re: *TW* Spotting/Bleeding/Threatened Loss Support Thread
I started spotting/cramping Saturday night, and thought it was maybe due to my workout being too intense on Friday, but I'm not so sure anymore. Was bouncing between brown and red spotting until last night, and now it's mostly red and not really "spotting" anymore (but not quite heavy bleeding, and no where close to my menstrual bleeding levels, which are quite heavy). Will call my doctor when they open soon, but I just don't feel very optimistic at this point (I'd rather go in with low expectations). Haven't had bad cramps or heavy bleeding yet, so I suppose that's not a terrible sign, but I still feel like it's coming. My scheduled appointment is next week, and I hope they don't make me wait until then to be seen. I didn't have this with DD so it's very new and unwanted territory for me.
TMI but maybe it will help someone else, but the nurse told me even my mucusy blood could be considered normal. And since I'm not currently filling up a pad or having period bleeding or bad cramps that's "good" (or better, I suppose).

I was bad and creeped on Quest to see if my labs were in... progesterone is super low, especially compared to 3 weeks ago (and I'm on suppositories), and HCG was really low (<3000) for being almost 7 weeks on Monday.
Called my doc this AM because I was having 2 days of bright red light bleeding, and they sent me to the ER....at this point I'm just thinking it's either a miscarriage or ectopic, and have accepted it wouldn't be a viable pregnancy...
Turns out I just have a small SCH, but everything else looks great. Baby is measuring 50th percentile with a heart beat of 149! I'm in shock because at this point I have no pregnancy symptoms (probably because my HCG is low), but the ER doc said to ignore HCG once they find a heartbeat. 🤷♀️ Still kinda anxious about everything, but I'm thankful baby is ok!
