@dogmom5 I can’t believe your old boss would say something like that, that is so inappropriate and unprofessional. I’m glad you had a much better experience this time with your new boss.
I booked a pedicure in a couple of weeks and a massage for the first weekend of April. I am so excited but nervous to actually start doing things in public lol.
@AKuzReve Congratulations!!! So exciting! It's a lot, but you'll get there. And remember, the house doesn't have to be perfect, as long as you have what you need.
@dogmom5 Glad that telling your boss went well, and better than last time! The HR section of my new supervisor training last month was pretty disappointing, but confirmed what I had thought: HR is there to protect the organization, not you. Sometimes those goals overlap, but unless there's rock-solid evidence of an extremely clear violation they usually won't do much (and often side with management).
@MelissaMay82 I just booked a haircut for April 30th, and am debating a pedicure (or --gasp!-- a prenatal massage??). Will be way past my second shot by then, but feels so weird to be making such plans.
@dogmom5 glad telling work went well. I can't believe your boss at your old job said that to you and even worse that HR said nothing.
@akoros I haven't had my hair cut since 2019. COVID, got in the way. I was going to hold out on getting a cut until the baby came, but part of me is wondering if once I finish the vaccine I get the cut before the baby. Probably cutting off 8-10 inches. 😳

@DoubleUp8 Feb 7, 2020 for me, so looking at 6 inches or so. Was debating waiting, but figured I'll have less time post-baby so might as well get it done

@AKuzReve congrats on the house! You’ve got an exciting few months ahead of you.
I worked out vaccine clinic today and then walked in the door as soon as DD got up from her nap. She wanted to play outside all afternoon. By 6pm tonight I had sat down for less than an hour total all day. I’m exhausted but have to stay awake until 10 or the insomnia will get me at 1am I stead of my normal 4am.
@AKuzReve congrats on the house!! So exciting, good things are happening!! Fx both your moms can come help you get settled.
@disgruntled_pelican congrats on the new job!! I'm so sorry to hear about your experience, and as sorry as I am to hear others went through it too I'm glad you found each other for support.
@dogmom5 so glad telling your boss went well!! What a relief!
Thanks everyone for your well wishes. I put everything with my mom on the back burner bc I can't right now.
DH is scheduled for a biopsy on Thursday and is going to be put under for it. Thankfully his parents will be here to help with the kids, so that's making things easier. I can't go in with him and have to drop him at the door bc of covid, and then they'll call when I can pick him up. I'm hoping for the best but DH is not optimistic about it so just trying to support him how I can.
@_orchid_ fingers crossed for the best results from your husband’s biopsy, that is scary to go through. It is so nice that his parents came to help out while you all are going through this.
@mc0303 his follow-up will be the following Wednesday, so about a week. Thankfully things are moving pretty fast so I'm glad we'll have a better idea about what is going on in about 10 days.
@_orchid_ I hope everything turns out okay. I hate that patients can’t have a support person around when having a procedure done. I’m glad you don’t have to wait long for some answers.
@_orchid_ I'm thinking of you. You know that we are all here for you.

We are buying new living room furniture this week and I have my 28 week appointment. Starting 2 weeks appointments now. So crazy.
Work has been keeping me busy and that makes the days go fast. My 3 year old has turned a corner and is listening for a change. Things are good here.
