Okay all, what appointments do you have coming up this month?

The 16th I have a scan at 6+5 and was told we should be able to hear the heartbeat! I am so excited and just hoping the days goes quickly!

I'll likely have another appointment 1 or 1 1/2 weeks later before I am released from the fertility clinic to a regular OB.

I have an US on Wed next week (3/17 🍀) with my RE, and will have another one the next week. I’ll be 5w5d so not likely to see a heartbeat yet. They said I’d get released to my OB at 10 weeks. I’m tempted to go ahead and make the appointment so I don’t have to wait when it’s time. In the meantime I’m running out of places on my butt to give myself my progesterone shots.

My scan is scheduled for 3/16 and I will be 6+3 that day. I feel like it is SO LONG until then. I am feeling slightly better today regarding the spotting from yesterday but still just want to know what is going on whether its good or bad news.

I have a virtual appointment with a nurse just as a screener to go over my medical history at the end of March and my first prenatal appointment isn't until April 5. Feels crazy far away!

First ultrasound this Thursday at exactly 5 weeks which seems too early to see anything but I'll take it! This is a new RE for me so I'm not sure what their protocol is on how often the spots are and when they graduate you but I guess I'll find out more in 2 days

I saw my Dr. on 3/5 to confirm the pregnancy and do a blood draw. Did another blood draw yesterday and my hcg levels look good. My dating u/s is 3/26 (I'll be 8 weeks according to ovulation but 9 weeks according to LMP) which is a ways away but gets me past the 7 week mark when I had a MMC before so I don't mind too much.

@eggsandwich2019 same dating ultrasound day here! 03/26 at 8weeks since LMP

I haven’t seen my doctor yet, only called and told them I had taken two positive tests.. I had bloodwork done 03/03, which I found out afterwards is to check overall health... no hcg. So I guess I’m totally in the dark for the next 2+ weeks, so nerve wracking.

I had an appointment today with my endo to check my thyroid, and get that all taken care of since I'm hypothyroid.

I had my second hcg check yesterday at my ob and I had a good rise, so that's good. She wants to check it again next week and once it is over 10,000 then she'll get me in for my first u/s. I'm trying not to get too excited because of the mmc, but at least should find out earlier if anything goes wrong so that helps my anxiety a bit.

I had bloodwork last week. My OB says my numbers look good. My first scan is 3/6 at 6w6d. Hoping for a strong heart rate.

I was just starting tests with a fertility doc when I found out I was pregnant naturally, so he’s overseeing things until I “graduate” to the regular OB after next week. Last Tuesday I had an u/s looking for the gestational sac, and today I had another one looking for the yolk sac, which we saw, and a heartbeat! That was an amazing surprise. It felt like I was successful, even though I’m not holding my breath or taking any progress for granted (or trying no to, anyway). I’m 6w2d today and the measurements adjusted my due date from 11/1 to 10/31. But imma stay in our Nov group anyway—hope that’s ok!

I had a virtual medical screening on Monday morning.

My first ultrasound is on 3/24 and another one on 4/8 when I'll meet my actual OB.

Then I'll have the first trimester screening, which will include genetic counseling, an ultrasound, and a blood test for the NIPT.

Seems like a lot more than with my son, but I'm totally cool with getting to see the bean 3 times in a matter of a few weeks!

I will have my first appt for blood draw on 3/15. My U/S appt will be 3/23, I will be 7w6d.

I started out with SGF, my husband and I took a month off and thats when we got pregnant naturally! I'm so grateful and excited.

My first appointment last Thursday (3/11) went well. I was exactly 6 weeks at the appointment, had a vaginal ultrasound, and we were able to see the baby fluttering around. Wishing everyone well at their first appointments!

Congrats @kbonita285 on twins. How exciting!

Got my hcg rechecked this morning and was at about 18,000 and finally scheduled the first ultrasound for Thursday. I'll be 6w 3d so hopefully I will be able to see a heartbeat.

I’ll be 10 weeks by the time I go to my first appointment. It seems so far away!!

Given that I’m having my first baby at 38, I thought they would try to get me in sooner.

Had my first official ultrasound, the one last week was just to check bleeding so I don't count it, and baby is measuring at 6w3d with a heartbeat of 127!! I am thrilled - I had a terrible feeling that something would be awful at the ultrasound today.

That actually is pretty unusual. If it were me, I’d ask for an 8-week appointment.

I have to wait til April too... I’ll be about 8.5 weeks. It’s hard waiting for that initial check-in, but I’m reminding myself that hopefully there will be more to see by then!

@campbellcobb I completely get you. My appointment isn’t until April 6 and even then it’s just a phone call to talk about medical history and stuff which will apparently take 2 hours 😳 then I’ll go in for bloodwork/urine tests shortly after that but I don’t have a date for that yet. I don’t have an ultrasound until I’m 12 weeks which I’m trying my best to be patient for lol

@jackie_dunny I don’t even know if I’ll get an ultrasound. They just said it’s a pregnancy confirmation appointment. I’ve never been pregnant so I don’t know what to expect.

Anyone else feel like everything stinks?! Seriously, everything. I know a heightened sense of smell is common, but I’d imagine that is smelling everything’s “natural” smell, good and bad. What I’m experiencing is the same smell no matter what. Chicken noodle soup, same smell. Airfryer chicken, same smell. Brown sugar oatmeal, same smell. Eggs, same stupid smell. Like rotten food/BO. It’s almost like I’ve got something rotten stuffed in my nose and that’s all I can smell. I just can’t stand it, I’m so nauseous all the time. This didn’t happen with my first 🤢

@jackie_dunny at 12 weeks it will full on look like an actual baby though. So that’ll be cool

I don’t have an appointment until 4/14. It’ll be a dating scan, I should be almost 9 weeks. The wait until the appointment after that will be brutal though... I always breathe a sigh of relief once I hear a heartbeat at 12 weeks.

Just had my first ultrasound. Should be 6w 3d and am measuring 6 weeks exactly. Heartbeat was 106 which the tech said they like a bit higher but being only 6 weeks means it just started beating so its still within okay range. Couldn't see my doc today so she is supposed to read the ultrasound and let me know next steps later today.

I'm just glad there was a heartbeat ❤❤

I've been hesitant to go all in on this pregnancy because of the previous MMC, but I am 7w today which is when I told myself I had to call the doctor. Scheduled for March 31.

@Marz1pan I feel you so much. My last pregnancy was a MMC and I'm still just numb, honestly probably will be until they are here. I cried before and during my ultrasound today, thankfully she was really nice, and even though it was good news I don't feel much better. Pregnancy after loss is really freaking hard. You aren't alone and I'm sending you ❤❤

@artsiefartsie - so similar here, I just had an u/s... I’m supposed to be 6 weeks 5 days but was measuring at 6 weeks and heart rate was also 106. Was hoping it would higher and surprised/little nervous about measuring behind, but so happy to at least see the heartbeat!

My next appointment and u/s is in 2 weeks so fingers crossed we’ll see lots more then.

@jena3207 I just got off the phone with my dr, and she said 106 is perfect that at 6 weeks they just want it over 100, and depending on when you ovulated/ the egg actually implanted will change the date, so not to worry about measuring off. She eased a lot of my nerves so I wanted to pass that along since we are in the same boat ❤

@eggsandwich2019 I had the bad taste with my son, but this time around it’s the smell. Crazy how hormones work!
