  • @sonovia I’m glad to hear that. I saw you were worried the other day!

  • @campbellcobb thanks so much. Yes, I was, I could hardly sleep. Im so happy now! How are you feeling?
  • @sonovia I’m a little nervous. My first appointment is in April. I hope everything is okay.

  • I went ahead and made my first appointment with my regular OB today. I won’t graduate from RE for another 3 weeks, but he always has a wait. I’m glad I did because he only had 2 appointment times available for the week I wanted. This feels exciting, like it’s going to be real finally.

Edited my post to not upset anyone.
Had my first ultrasound today. They gave my no info but said I’m measuring “7 weeks and a few days” when LMP started 8 weeks 1 day ago.
Saw a heartbeat but they wouldn’t tell me the heart rate. Don’t know how to feel. I have to wait until Tuesday at the earliest to know if it’s healthy.
  • @usedtobeknottie I’m sorry your ultrasound didn’t go as expected, but don’t give up hope yet. In my opinion, I don’t think that they would make you wait a week just to tell you that something was wrong. I would think they’d want to send you for testing or maybe another ultrasound if that were the case. Truthfully, most ultrasound techs are not allowed to tell you a lot of specifics regarding what they see during your appointments. At least that’s the case where I am located. I remember during my scans with my son, she was able to point out what we were looking at but she couldn’t tell me whether or not it was normal or healthy. It’s weird, but don’t let that concern you. At this stage, there’s probably not a whole lot to tell yet, other than there is a baby in there. As for it not being very clear, that could be related to your water intake. I know that if you’re slightly dehydrated your images can be kind of grainy. Hang in there mama, don’t lose hope.

  • @tmk2021 Thank you... I was actually over hydrated. She had me empty “half” my bladder and still said I didn’t empty enough, but went ahead anyway. I’m not sure how that affects things... i want to be positive, hopefully I can be eventually. For now I just went home and straight to bed 😬. Thanks for letting me know... hopefully all is well.

  • @usedtobeknottie sending hugs, they can't say much unfortunately. Did they say when you'd get a call from your doctor?

  • Thank you @marbellie , I’m really hoping this is just me being anxious and expecting the worst. No symptoms doesn’t help. The tech said 2-3 business days, so I’m hoping Tuesday at least

Yeah the no symptoms thing can be a mind trip. Something that I'm reminding myself of (since I'm trying to lean into the silver lining side this time rather than worry) is that no AF is a really large symptom, it's just less glorified. Best of luck and I hope that you can find peace until the call!
