@_orchid_ im so sorry girl that your anxiety and PGAL worry is through the roof. I get it. I've been there. I cry before my ultrasounds all the time from my anxiety too. FX all is ok. Ill be thinking about you.
I’m sorry so many have experienced losses in the past. Pregnancy is stressful enough without the added worry of feeling that same pain and hurt again. So much love to everyone struggling!
Everything looked good with baby today! All measurements were 1week+ ahead so looks like he's going to take after his brothers and be giant lol. He was moving all around and kept hiding his face, which is a classic ds2 move.
My appt was over an hour long though bc the Dr spent a long time going over all my recent diagnosises and the action plan going forward. Sjorgens can cause heart blocks in utero, so I'll need a biweekly fetal echocardiogram from 16 weeks - 32 weeks. My MFM will do half, and the other half will be with a pediatric cardiologist in case a heart block does form and baby needs surgery after birth. The MFM wants me to stay taking baby aspirin as well, bc the lovenox is just a blood thinner for me (doesn't cross the placenta) and the BA will cross for baby in case of clotting.
Also bc of the potential heart problems, starting at 16 weeks the MFM practice suggests I use a home doppler 2-3 times a day to check baby's HR and report to them if it's below 100, over 200, or I can't find it. My Dr says she doesn't lean into that as much as the other drs at the practice bc she thinks it causes too much anxiety. I found out today I have an anterior placenta, so she gave me a heads up that I might have a hard time finding the HR.
@_orchid_ Glad to hear everything went well at the scan and they were thorough! It is a lot to process, but good that you've have a plan and it sounds like you're getting great care
