  • Holy fuck y'all. I had a little toothache yesterday and its turned into full on cellulitis. My cheeks are over my teeth and the outside is rock solid. It hurts so bad I can't even describe the pain.
Went to urgent care last night they gave me antibiotics but it's grown about 4x since then so I'm headed to the emergency dentist and then if they can't figure it out heading to the emergency department for some IV antibiotics. Please keep me and my little bean in your thoughts tlday

  • @ruemcclanahan omg you poor thing. I've had cellulitis twice and it is no laughing matter. It horrible and the pain is not fun. I've had it once in my leg which was soo bad I had to go to the ER to get a needle to release the swelling and pressure and pain. They said if I had left it I would have lost my leg. I also had it another time in my ear somehow and my ears hurt really bad. I had to take antibiotics too. Did they give you Cephalexin? I Know its safe in pregnancy to use. I hope you feel better soon girl. I will be thinking about you and your little bean today 💕
  • @ruemcclanahan Ouch! Sending you best wishes for a quick and safe recovery!
  • @ruemcclanahan oh my gosh! I hope you get some relief! FX!
  • @ruemcclanahan Ouch! All the good vibes that you get relief soon!!
  • @ruemcclanahan Ow! I hope the dentist can do something about it! I will be thinking of you and little bean.

  • Thanks guys! Ugh so they drilled into my tooth to get it to drain out. Put me on augmentin. I'm seeing a little progress but holy moly I'm miserable
    Pregnancy Ticker
  • @ruemcclanahan I’m glad they were able to drain it. I’m so so sorry that your in so much pain and are miserable. Hang in there girl.
  • @ruemcclanahan that sounds absolutely miserable!! I hope you get some relief soon.

  • @mindyb2019 That is a lot to process on a good emotional day, and being pregnant, there is even more emotions. Take a deep breath. You’ve got this! And it sounds like she was super positive about all the pregnancy stuff, so try to focus on that and let the rest pass until they need to be dealt with. Doctors tell us all the info, because they have to inform us, but that doesn’t mean any of it will happen. Hang in there, take some time for some extra TLC, and think of what’s best for your lo right now.
  • @ramzlau thanks friend. Yes it is alot to process, especially being pregnant makes it worse. Im trying to take a deep breathe but im worried and scared now. Do u know if cysts inside are something to be worried about? Can they go away on their own? I've never had one on my cervix before and it wasn't there before so im wondering why now?

  • @mindyb2019 that is a lot to take in. You’re not being a Debbie Downer, your feelings are all completely valid and understandable. No need to apologize for feeling your feelings, especially when you are processing worrisome news. Hugs.
But the good news from your doctor is good news! That you’ve recovered well from the LEEP and that your hcg levels are fantastic! I agree with @ramzlau that, as much as possible, hang onto the positives (easier said than done, I know) since the other is out of your control for now. But it sounds like your doctor is being cautious and has a solid plan in place. So let her manage that and you take care of you! ❤️ Thinking of you and sending lots of positive vibes across the country.
  • @mandyb2019 that is a lot to take in and process, especially while being pregnant. The good news is great! Try to focus on that! Sending positive thoughts your way!

  • @mindyb2019 I have had them on my ovaries, they put me on birth control and they shrunk (birth control was just to speed the process up, but they gave me the option to do nothing and let them resolve). I haven’t heard anything of them being on the cervix before, but it sounds to me like your doctor expects it to resolve on its own like they normally would on ovaries.
  • @mindyb2019 I don't have anything to add since I'd just be echoing everyone else's words, but I'll be keeping my fingers crossed for you that everything stays towards the positive and you get your THB. Feel your feels when you need to. Remember that you are pregnant today ❤️❤️

  • @mindyb2019 I'm so sorry, that is more than an overwhelming amount of information.  Like others have said, let yourself feel those emotions and don't be too hard on yourself.  Doctors have to tell you the worst case scenario no matter how likely or unlikely it is. Your numbers are fantastic and your cervix looks great right now, so try to just take it one day at a time. Sending you all the love and good cervix vibes!

    @hillbillywife good number vibes!!

  • @mindyb2019 sending you good thoughts, you'll get through this!

@hillbillywife good luck with your numbers!

As for me I have my first ultrasound today and I'm very nervous.  I just really have no idea what to expect, I seem to be stuck in this mindset of hope for the best, expect the worst.  I hope this goes away soon so I can start enjoying this, maybe once I graduate from my RE to the OB it will start to seem more normal!
  • Thanks everyone. It took all day to get my results back last time but I went earlier in the day today so I’m hoping that helps. We’ll see. I POAS once I got home and it’s still positive but I don’t think it’s getting any darker. Nervous right along with everyone else.

@ellieemc26 FX for your ultrasound! I hope you see the cutest little fetal pole! I always keep my expectations super low too, but it definitely doesn’t leave much room for excitement. Idk much about RE’s but I hope you get to graduate and settle into feeling all the good feels!
  • @ellieemc26 FX for a good u/s.

@MelissaMay82 Oh God that sucks. So sorry. I hope your DH is ok.

@hillbillywife FX for you today for good beta numbers. Im getting mine done again today also.

@ellieemc26 FX for a good U/S today. GL!

  • @hillbillywife FWIW, I think FR has been having issues with some of their tests lately. I had a box of 3 that all showed up with a similar shade to my test line that I took over 3 days. If I wasn't actually pregnant I think these would have shown up with an evap line. Crossing fingers for your results!

@ellieemc26 FX for a good US. You went through IVF right? It's a very weird experience to see a sac in there instead of nothing!
