  • I am like weirdly and ridiculously into spaghetti right now?? Like the idea got into my head yesterday around 4pm and I. Just. Had. To. Have. It. Lol. So I went to the store and bought ground beef, GF spaghetti noodles, a good sauce that I like, and fancy grated cheese for topping. Took 20 min to cook up! I ate so much that I put myself into a food coma and was sleeping by 8pm, Haha.
  • @brynn_mamaof4 omg a whole ice cream cake - this is epic, lolol.  I don't even think I would have thought to do that, but now I want one.

  • @brynn_mamaof4 I was thinking that was more efficient than the two times I've ordered ice cream sundaes / shakes for delivery. Second order I made hubby join with me so I didn't feel so wasteful making someone bike over here with just a shake lol.

When I took Monday off from work to hang with hubby, we had cheesy tater tots for lunch and pizza for dinner. It was glorious.

@texas_t @ec1212 I still have no regrets. Ice cream cake for dessert for like a solid week (kids are home now so I have to share haha). Thank goodness for DoorDash and random must haves 😂💃🏼

I’m having a hard time making/cooking food because in general I’ve been so sick. I should buy stock in DoorDash to get some of my money back lol
  • aaaand tacos are now officially on my list of things that taste like cardboard.  and i used ALL the seasoning. ugh!
  • It's such a strange mix of things I find tolerable? The grilled chicken in my Caesar salad for lunch? Absolutely not. Chili cheese fries for dinner? Yes please. A sausage biscuit with cheese from McDonald's? Mmmm. Bring it on! Any bowl of soup? Gag me with a spoon.

  • I made this one-pot recipe the other night, and as long as you aren't too prone to heartburn, it was delicious and satisfying! Easy, fresh ingredients and ready in 20 minutes 😍 it tasted great to me.

  • The meat aversion is real and has hit me hard. I'm nauseous pretty much all the time, and I have no appetite. Nothing sounds good. Everything I used to like has started tasting.... Off. I made fried rice the other night, and I LOVE fried rice, but I couldn't eat it at all. At first I thought it was because I put scrambled eggs in it, but then I tasted the soy sauce and I'm thinking that was the culprit. Some things now have a really metallic taste, acidic foods like tomatoes are 🤢. It's either taco bell or bread based foods like muffins, toast, even plain eggos.

  • @mrsomelette I am more than 12 weeks and still can’t eat meat, unless it’s carry out or fast food that I didn’t prepare. Made ribeye steak last night for DH and couldn’t wait for it to finish cooking so I could clean the pan, open the window, and rid my house of the meat smell.

  • @mrsomelette - besides exhaustion, food / water aversions have been my main symptom. And I've asked DH to not add soy sauce until after he's cooked something for the same reason - the smell makes me gag and that's with all the windows already open. Luckily, I don't have "super nose" in general - stuff like laundry detergent just smells "off" or certain smells suddenly offend me.
