How many months/cycles had you been TTC? 1 year, 6 IUI cycles
How long have you been an active participant on the TTGP board? (minimum: 3 full months) 1 year
What did your chart look like? No chart
What were you doing TGKU? Felt like everything. IUI #6, all the vitamins, fresh pineapple, and trying to relax.
How was your timing? What symptoms did you have, if any? (CS & CD breakdowns welcome) We almost missed the timing window because of Covid testing, ended up doing a nasal covid what was supposed to be 2 days prior, but then I ovulated early, so we did the instant blood test and moved the IUI up a day. My only symptom is a stuffy nose and a lack of symptoms really. I was scared to test this cycle as it was our last one before moving onto IVF, but wanted to know before our open enrollment ended. Did beta test on 13 DPO and it was 78, and repeat on 15 DPO and it was 178! And have POAS multiple times now to reassure myself this isn’t a dream. The one thing worrying me is that my TSH, which has been normal, doubled this month to some concerning levels, so I am back on synthroid to help manage it.
How are you going to/did you tell your partner? I have had a plush Disney character and a coffee mug hidden away since January waiting for this moment to tell him. I put it on the kitchen table so when he woke up in the morning and went to get his coffee he saw it. I got it all on video, it is priceless! He was shocked.
Anything else to add? Thank you to my IF ladies! Seriously I had so many setbacks this year, yet you kept cheering me on when I was struggling to keep the hope alive. And kept the snark to keep me laughing when all I wanted to do was cry. I hope every single one of you graduates soon! Will be lurking the board. I hope I have given as much as I have received.
