What symptoms are you experiencing this week? I still have very slightly sore breats and since yesterday I've been struggling with not feeling so well when getting hungry and then not feeling so well when I'm full. Also, I wouldn't say I have nausea, but I do gag several times a day.
GTKY: Does it feel like fall yet where you live? It definitely looks like falls but we're having an Indian Summer this week end. What’s your favorite thing about fall? I don't really like fall...so I guess Indian summers are my favorite thing about fall? Oh and apple picking! Which we won't do this year, because we are asked to refrain from traveling between regions and I live in the city.
What symptoms are you experiencing this week? Mostly nausea and some fatigue plus sore boobs and a little cramping. Started zofran today and it seemed to help the nausea but I think it caused a headache.
GTKY: Does it feel like fall yet where you live? What’s your favorite thing about fall? It feels like fall on and off! Some days are around 80 which still feels like fall for here but we’ve also had some days in the low-mid 70s. My favorite part of fall is the weather! I hate the heat so I’m not a big fan of summer. I also love that it kicks off the holiday season. October through December is my favorite time of year!
What symptoms are you experiencing this week? I still have the occasional nausea, exhausted but sleeping terribly at night, feeling terrible when I’m hungry but also terrible after I eat like you. @mimser
GTKY: Does it feel like fall yet where you live? What’s your favorite thing about fall?
The fall temps are on their way. It was nice earlier this week but we’ve had temps in the 80s the last few days. 60s start Monday and I can’t wait. That is my favorite part of fall. I love the outings to the pumpkin patches and apple orchards but they aren’t fun in the heat!
What symptoms are you experiencing this week? Pretty much just sore boobs. I've had a couple of days of nausea but nothing major. I have been having the lower abdominal pulling and stretching feelings this week as well, and I can't get enough chocolate and sweets.
GTKY: Does it feel like fall yet where you live? What’s your favorite thing about fall? Its starting to! In MI this will probably be the last really nice weekend and then it will get cold. I love going to the cider mill for fresh donuts and cider, although I won't be able to have the cider this year.
What symptoms are you experiencing this week? boobs are still sore. some mostly mild cramping, though this morning i had something sharp for a minute or two then it stopped. also starting to feel the constipation and the food aversions.
GTKY: Does it feel like fall yet where you live?it did feel like it until this weekend and its hot again! What’s your favorite thing about fall?i love the temperatures-50s and 60s are the best.
What symptoms are you experiencing this week? Nauseated if I go too long without eating or eat too much. Super bloated - my clothes are not fitting me! (Pandemic weight doesn't help.)
GTKY: Does it feel like fall yet where you live? What’s your favorite thing about fall? No. We're supposed to get a cold front tomorrow so the high will be in the seventies. My favorite thing about Fall is that it means awful summer is over and beautiful winter is on its way.
What symptoms are you experiencing this week? Does anyone else have round ligament pain yet? I swear I only get this in the first tri despite everyone saying it’s only common later. I also feel like a literal sloth today. I think I need 9-10 hrs of sleep right now to be functional through the day, and of course my 2 year old has just decided SHE only needs 10 hours of sleep at night or else she’s not napping 😩
GTKY: Does it feel like fall yet where you live? What’s your favorite thing about fall? Sometimes! This weekend was in the 80s but later this week will be in the 60s. I like being able to spend time outside without sweating 🤷🏻♀️
What symptoms are you experiencing this week? Some appetite loss and food aversions. Itchy nipples.
GTKY: Does it feel like fall yet where you live? What’s your favorite thing about fall? We went to a farm and pumpkin patch today, so definitely feels like fall is here. I love the weather and the comfort food!

Today was a rough day. Not so much nausea but acid reflux/indigestion. I haven’t been able to eat much and haven’t been able to have caffeine so I’ve felt useless and exhausted all day. On Mondays I don’t work so my girls don’t go to preschool and I usually look forward to having fun with them but I just couldn’t 😢 luckily H works from home and can help with lunch and naps. Hoping for a better day tomorrow
it’s not feeling like Fall right now- it’s warm and in the 70s! I love Fall though. I live in New England so it’s the best here! We’ve been isolated at home lately because my daughter has been sick and got tested for Covid. We found out today she’s negative so this weekend we’re going to make up for lost time! Probably going apple picking and/or to this awesome farm that’s perfect for kids/families
Not pleasant: Gassy, still very tired and napping most days, excess saliva, wake up 4-5x/night to pee, boobs (mostly nips) sensitive and more at night, some food aversions, winning my water battle with Mio flavoring drops. Tire / get winded easily.
Pleasant: Enjoy having a reason to go to bed early, skin is actually quite good...maybe even a little glowy? Which was not my experience last year.
I think my cat also feels like something’s up. She’s been more clingy than usual. Like laying outside the bathroom door when I’m just in there long enough to pee.
I had a sophrology session tonight and at some point I just couldn't manage those digestion/throat burping noises. Luckily my therapist knows I'm pregnant. Then I had a pottery class and I litterally burped for 3 hours, being bent over the throw was not helping too.
@ec1212 My dog has been more clingy to me as well. Last time it was the opposite
What symptoms are you experiencing this week? Even with the heavy duty Zofran I'm struggling to function in the morning. So nauseated, can barely eat. Which has led to extreme constipation.
GTKY: Some days feels like fall, other days not so much. I definitely enjoy the cooler weather.
@SkilledSailor Fiber Gummies are life during pregnancy for me! They help so much.
My back kind of started hurting last night. I read (to remind myself) that relaxin is highest in the first trimester, so all your ligaments, especially starting around week 8 (I'm 8w2d) are lose. So, I'm thinking that's what it is.
I'm 6+5, and having all the crazy dreams. I woke up Saturday really mad at my husband for making up miss our (dream) flight, I woke him to tell him so, and he was like "ok" and rolled over and went back to sleep.
@ckmb_1250, @mkc3888 I don't have RLP yet, but I do remember it starts earlier with every pregnancy, so I'm expecting it soon.
It feels like fall sporadically here, and honestly, I'm not a fan, it's just a reminder that winter is around the corner, and I hate the cold.
@texas_t not quite. My water tasted flat to me and I thought "oh, I need electrolytes like gatorade" and what I had was pedialyte powder... but that tasted foul, too. Gonna have to drink juice, I guess! (The only time I ever like gatorade is when I'm pregnant--otherwise it tastes too salty to me.)
What symptoms are you experiencing this week? Sore breasts, heightened sense of smell (one of my first indications I was ku) and today started getting a little nauseous
GTKY: Does it feel like fall yet where you live? What’s your favorite thing about fall? It has been back and forth along with a few really cold days. I love the change to wearing sweaters or really just turning over my wardrobe as I start getting tired of one seasons clothes. I am not a huge fan of cold weather either so fall makes me a little sad.
@queen_frostine 1. I've been meaning to tell you how much I love your name, lol! My oldest and I play Candyland and I'm salty that it's now called "The Frosted Palace". WTF is that? 2. I've been adding orange juice to sparkling water so I can make sure and get more water with less sugar content if you wanna give that a go!
What symptoms are you experiencing this week? exhaustion, some food aversions, nausea... and poor decision making: I just ate two icecream sandwiches and feel disgusting. Why oh why?!
GTKY: Does it feel like fall yet where you live? What’s your favorite thing about fall?
it does not:( it’s 99 degrees, the air quality is 110 and the fires are a blazing. After 35 years I think this California native is ready to jump ship.
I love fall tho- cold crisp air, apples, pumpkins, sweaters, changing leaves. Just gotta move somewhere that has those things.
What symptoms are you experiencing this week? Still never ending nausea that I feel like I will never get complete relief from. Lots of burping and acid reflux up in the back of my throat.
GTKY: Does it feel like fall yet where you live? What’s your favorite thing about fall? It’s full blown fall here in southern Minnesota. Most days are cool enough to wear sweaters and dress fall-like. I enjoy all the basic fall things, pumpkin patches, Halloween movies, cozy sweaters. And my husband is a farmer so it’s harvest time meaning other than dropping the kids off at daycare I pretty much run the house and kids myself, while he works crazy hours. But that’s ok, it’s just a couple of months.

GTKY: Does it feel like fall yet where you live? What’s your favorite thing about fall? This week it’s finally started to cool off. I wore a light sweater yesterday and that was nice. I love the cooler weather. Summer is so brutal here, it’s just nice to be outside comfortably.

Is anybody else having trouble sleeping? I'm tired, yet I have a hard time falling asleep. I started to get up to pee in the middle of the night and then I can't go back to sleep. It seems I mostly sleep well once the morning comes. I also can't seem to be able to nap.
@mimser i have the exact same probem, i find myself falling asleep all over the place! i cannot stay up late and i need a nap around 2pm....almost there!
@mimser I started taking 1/2 of a 25 mg Unisom tab at 9pm for a 930 bedtime. I’ve been getting up 6x/night to pee and it’s been really disruptive. I find that I get up fewer times and fall back asleep much more quickly when I take it. That said, it can only be on nights when I don’t have an early work meeting or don’t plan on working out because I do wake up groggy.
I didn’t take it last night and it took me about an hour and a half to fall asleep and I went back to my pre-pregnancy amount of sleep (6-7 hours) and actually feel great today. I think I only got up to go pee 4 times but I was so tired (I went to bed late cause of the presidential debate) that it was easy to get back to sleep.
I haven’t figured it out yet, either. But I’m writing this from bed during my 1-2pm rest/nap time.
@mimser no problem going to sleep, but I have been waking around 2am and unable to go back to sleep until almost 4. Maybe because I am falling asleep at 9:15 absolutely exhausted. Going to make myself stay up until 10 tonight and see if that helps.
I can cry at the drop of a hat. I have cried multiple times today over tiny things. There are a bunch of stressors at work right now and any time I talk about one of them I start to tear up.
I am still so sick and nauseous, I can’t wait for this phase to be over 😭. I want to enjoy this and feel happy but most days I feel so sick I can barely manage leaving my bed (and with 3 other kiddos that’s tough!) I keep losing weight, down 7 pounds, but I’m trying to manage healthy foods when I can eat to make myself feel better about it 😔
I can’t stomach my prenatals either so I am super anxious to be able to start taking them again!
