HSG ?

I am having my HSG tomorrow at 1 PM.  I will ask my Dr. tomorrow but was wondering if anyone on here knows if it is safe to have sex the following day?  The reason I am asking is b/c it looks like I might O tomorrow or Thursday based on the CBEFM.

My doctor said to abstain for 24 hours.

Ask your Dr if you think you are Oing that soon after.

I had mine last week, I definitely had no interest in sex afterwards, with the dye leaking out and just feeling yucky.

I'd ask them to be sure.

We couldn't have sex before the HSG, but we were encouraged after - since it tends to be close to O time.

Thanks, that's very sweet!  I haven't been on lately b/c I was getting a little overwhelmed and frustrated with everything.  Now that we have had our first visit with the RE (yesterday) I am a lot more upbeat and full of more questions for you all.  And, very happy to have a plan!

Thank you!  It's actually just one bulldog.  He is our baby.  Seriously, our friends and family think we are crazy b/c of how much we talk about him and include him in EVERYTHING.

I have a bulldog too and I just love her to pieces. Yours is just adorable! 

I don't know about the HSG and sex question either, except I think quite a few bumpies have gotten KU right after them, so that could be good! My Gyn was just telling me today that she would start me on meds the same cycle as the HSG in the hopes of stirring things up.
