  • @tryingktogku *lurking from November* that is the perfect grey on the walls! What color is it if you don't mind me asking??
  • @tryingktogku. Wow!  That looks amazing and you kicked butt in getting stuff put together!
  • I love all the nursery photos!     My “nursery” right now is jam packed full of my husbands art studio/office at the moment.   I told him when I got pregnant that we Can start working on the baby room in October.  🤦‍♀️  I have lots of ideas but no actual things for it yet.
  • @bserena it’s Benjamin Greys Perspective! It can have a blue tint to it.  I like this and grey owl which has less of a blue tint but almost same colour!

@dobiemom11 thanks! All the women in my family got together and we all put it together it was a great day and I really loved having my “village” over to help

@autumn87654321 I like to be prepared lol! And living in a small northern Ontario city I can’t just go out and buy things, most stuff I had to order in and the ship times are insane so I wanted to get a head start!
  • @tryingktogku. I loved that you were surrounded by family.  That is a wonderful memory for everyone involved.  Plus then everyone gets to feel involved with welcoming the little one.
  • @tryingktogku If you're planning to breastfeed, you may want to consider something a little larger than a tiny table. I used one of the three tier carts and then I could have my water, snack, etc. but also my pump supplies, burp rags, etc. It worked out really nicely.
  • @gingkomama thanks for that advice! Always great to have BTDT moms on here! I’ll look for something tiered like that to keep my pumping stuff too I didn’t even think about that! I think for the first 4-6 months babe will be in a bassinet room sharing anyway but I’ll deff use his room/ that spot for “milk collection/ dispensing” not during the night haha
  • @tryingktogku I think you won't regret more storage space there! Once baby is a little older and you spend less of your life nursing or pumping you could always switch again if you want 🙂
  • We sold the bed, dresser and nightstands that were in the guest room/future nursery! We just need to finish clearing out some storage and then we can finally get started on putting the nursery together. I think first step will be painting...either all the walls for just an accent wall. It's a nice neutral color right now. Excited to finally be making progress.

  • Not sure if anyone responded directly to you, but this is my third pregnancy. Other than a place to keep clothes and use the rocking chair, no, we did not use the nursery for quite a while. I keep my babies in a bassinet in my room for 6 months and keep a small basket with changes of clothes and necessities on the nightstand. If you plan to BF, you’re not getting out of bed for anything so having everything next to you is key. Don’t stress about it!
  • @shelmcclel The light is so pretty!! I love how it throws those rays!
