I tried to go for a run today and a couple of minutes in, I felt sharp pain in my pelvis / groin, centered. I switched to walking and it went away after a while (and when I checked the Doppler back home, baby sounded fine). Could that have been round ligament pain even though it was in the center? Has anyone had a similar experience? I bought a belly band to see if that helps. I’ve been feeling RLP on the sides as well.
@laurenspdx sometimes when I’m just on a walk I get that pain! Centered, low, sharp pains. Let me know if the belly band helps!

I'm trying out iced coffee for the first time today to see if it has the same effect on my stomach as hot coffee. I'm really hoping it is - tea isn't cutting it anymore!
@bartonolivia if you had a small hematoma in your placenta (very common in first and early second trimester) that blood releasing as the placenta heals can cause bright red bleeding too but wouldn’t show on a ultrasound because it’s “healed” just released the pool of blood. Hopefully it’s done now and everything is going okay for you!
Sorry I’ve been MIA this app has been giving me problems! I’m over here in the heart burn train and low back pain train but just so happy to have a healthy growing baby I don’t even care haha I still feel like it’s a dream sometimes. It seems so far away that we were trying to get pregnant lol
@karmba iced coffee has been way more appetizing to me than hot!

@laurenspdx - I had that happen intermittently throughout the 2nd half of my first pregnancy. I'm not sure if you're feeling the same thing, but I'm pretty sure mine was from the two halves of my pelvis rubbing against each other. Thanks to the hormone relaxin, your pelvic girdle loosens up (which it totally needs to for delivery!) and it can start sooner than you'd think. I'm feeling the same thing occasionally now, usually at the end of a long or especially hill-filled walk.
Main symptom is extremely emotional. Everything is making my cry and fly off the handle. I’ve cried about 3 different things today. It doesn’t help that our world is in disarray and I’m a teacher. Hoping to feel a little more cheerful again soon! Also I’ve been putting in weight like it’s my job idk what the deal is.
@hham10 Well, it kinda is your job to put on weight right now 🙃 about 1-2 pounds a week!

Ahhh spotting was non existent for about 5-6 days. Just found 4 small bright red blood clots come out of me... but I’m not supposed to worry or call unless I’m soaking a pad an hour ))
So I’ve got this new sharp pain that occurs in my lower abdomen when I go to stand up from sitting or laying down. I things it’s from using my core to help move from a sitting to standing position - maybe related to round ligament pain. It doesn’t happen if I support myself or push off with my hands, so I need to just train myself to start doing that all the time.
I have this pain in the side of my stomach, feels kind of like a side stitch. Been there since I woke up this morning and hasn’t gone away

Well I officially passed right out this morning at work 🙄 I just got over heated under all the PPE and boom I was lucky enough to fall into an empty patient chair! I’m annoyed because I feel like I can’t do anything about it and it’s impacting my ability to work as well as making me worried for baby. I know it common but it just sucks.
@tryingtogku that sucks I'm sorry. I 100% feel you on the ppe struggle bus, especially gowned with lead ... I really struggle. Lots of water and breaks is the only thing getting me through. I also try to wear the fewest things I can around my neck and head, so like no double scrub caps, light glasses/headlamps, paper gowns etc. If any of those are options
Maybe 2 or 3 times when I’ve been yawning/breathing in deep/stretching I’ve gotten this pulling sensation in my stomach, almost like my stomach muscle is pulling apart real quick. It’s the strangest most uncomfortable feeling, but it’s not painful, like round ligament or anything. It’s higher up near my belly button. Anyone else get this feeling? I don’t remember it ever happening with my first

I'm not feeling that emotional wave but y'all my back is killing me. I don't know what to do I'm only at 19w2d and I want to get how bad it hurts. It's hard to sleep.
I can feel my baby with certainty now when he decides to occupy different parts of my stomach's he favors my lower left side - it's like he's gets there then mushes his body against my stomach. Feels like a big lump.
I don't know if I'm further a long than everyone thinks or I just have a strong baby but I've felt him since 17weeks and my partner has also been able to feel him since then. No there's no dramatic hand/foot prints. And he still has to put his hand down where I tell him to feel it but we both can feel.
I guess writing this I do want to cry now. I don't know how anyone enjoys pregnancy. It hurts. I'm always hungry. I'm always tired. I just want it to be done and I'm barely hitting half way next week.
I've lost so much weight and am still having a hard time keeping anything down. Has anyone added something like ensure? I started out plus size, but I am down almost 20 pounds.
@maisas *hugs* Can you maybe visit a chiropractor for the back pain? I hear they can work wonders!

the round ligament pain is getting very real - I thought I was having it previously but now baby’s clearly making more room for herself! Lol. Also I’m feeling absolutely huge - doesn’t help that I’ve been in a bathing suit all week.
Also have noticed I’ve been extra grumpy lately! Other than that no crazy symptoms and I’m so grateful.
@the_road_to_oz. I have added Ensure or Pediasure daily. I lost 16 lbs first trimester and haven't really gained any second trimester. I asked my Dr and she didn't have a preference on a particular shake. I just get whatever is on sale, but stay away from the Atkins shakes (no particular reason except it seems weird to be drinking a "dieting" shake while trying to gain weight. Totally a mental thing on my part). They have ones that have additional protein, so I try to get those. If I am having a rough day, I have that for dinner. Otherwise I just try to squeeze it in between lunch and dinner. I have an appointment in two weeks and will see if she recommends adding another shake if still no weight gain.
My main symptoms are crazy heartburn (like swallowing lava), overheating, and just feeling really full. It feels like my stomach lives in my throat!
@maisas. I don't know if you are taking magnesium, but you might want to ask your doctor about it. It helps me with leg cramps and such, so not sure if that is what you are experiencing with your back pain.
I also started sleeping on my side (which I hate), but noticed I need to prop the bump up a little bit. I just put a thin pillow under it to help with back strain. Otherwise I am a little front heavy and it pulls me into a weird position for my back. Then I wake up and my back is killing me from being stretched all night long.
Good luck!! I agree that this is hard, but it will be worth it!! You are doing great. Jealous of the kicks...I sometimes think maybe I feel something, but very faint!
@dobiemom11 Im not taking magnesium, Ill ask my next appointment I guess its not too far off. I started so stretches specifically for back pain and started walking in the morning it seems to have helped so far. Im gunna try to keep up with it. They say kicks come later for some, Im sure it'll happen soon for you! Were all around that time
@bearmomma1 If it gets to where "natural" things arent helping at all I definitely will look into it. I wonder if they are "essential" I havent looked into that at all o:
I just saw baby kick for the first time! Side of my stomach was poppin :P

@autumn87654321 thats happening to me too! I’ll be starving and will start eating and get full really quickly. Then I’m bummed I don’t even get to eat everything I wanted to eat 🤷🏼♀️
