Hi @covergirl2985! I just got my FET calendar today - I'm scheduled for July 10th!! This will be my first FET, after two rounds of IVF with PGT-SR testing. My husband and I had four early miscarriages (or chemicals) before he was diagnosed with a balanced translocation and we were on the fast track to IVF. The process has been long and tiring, and I've struggled not to be pessimistic along the way. But... something about starting our FET cycle this month just feels SO RIGHT to me, so I'm hoping to ride that good juju as far as it will take me (and rubs off on you too haha)!
I see you had 13 embryos sent for PGS testing - how many normals did you get? 31 eggs is amazing btw!
Hi @eggcellent ! That's super exciting and you still get to enjoy 7/4 without having the TWW in your mind. I feel really good about our cycle this time too...not sure if it's bc we've been here before, or that we're doing PGS testing...something it just, BETTER We are waiting on the PGS results, should hear back next week as they were sent them on Monday, 6/8.
Hi! I’m hoping for a July FET. We had a failed transfer several weeks ago so I’m just waiting for insurance approval for a new cycle and we will try again. I have frozen embryos from a donor egg cycle we did in 2017. First transfer will be 2 in August and now we are working on a sibling.

@covergirl2985 - I'm a huge fan of PGS testing! And with 13 embryos sent for testing the numbers are DEFINITELY on your side. Fingers crossed for your results, let us know how it goes!
@laurad75 - I hope your insurance clears you quickly. For what it's worth, my insurance told me the approval requests are going quickly these days because elective procedures are at an all time low with COVID. I hope that's true for your insurance too. Good luck!!
I start my Lupron shots tomorrow, baseline ultrasound scheduled for next Thursday. It's getting real!
@covergirl2985 - No kidding! I actually loved that my clinic only gave me updates on Day 1 and Day 6. I thought I would want daily updates, but when the reality is that the numbers always go down it was so much easier to just hear the starting # of fertilized eggs and the final # of embryos sent for testing!! My PGS testing company was iGenomix, and I think they quoted up to 14 business days but I had my results in 7 business days. As for beta... I'm the crazy one peeing on a cheapie test 5x a day and going full CSI/inspector gadget trying to desperately detect a line. LOL!
Hey everyone, I will jump over from the Spring FET board and introduce myself. We are TTC baby #2 and just had a failed fet... our history is in my signature, but feel free to ask any questions I stopped meds on Tuesday and my cycle is well on it’s way, CD1 will probably be tomorrow. Our next FET will be around July 8-10. We are transferring one embryo and have 11 left. Non of them are PGS tested. Looking forward to following along this journey with you all 💕
Hi @sfield21! Sorry to hear about your failed transfer, but wow that's exciting how fast you're able to go to the next cycle!! I'm scheduled for transfer on July 13th, so I'll be right behind you. This morning I had my baseline ultrasound and was so relieved to have no cysts or anything. I feel a ton of great energy about transferring in July - something about it just feels very right. I hope you feel the good vibes too!!!
Oh no, I'm so sorry to hear about your job. COVID SUCKS!!!! I hope you're able to find a different job soon.
But YAY for your testing results!!!! I love that you have equal numbers of each. We sent a total of 25 embryos for genetic testing (because my husband carries a chromosomal abnormality called a balanced translocation) and 20 of them were male!! My husband keeps referring to himself as a "kingmaker" LOL. Thankfully of the ones we sent, we got 6 normals - 4 male and 2 female. I would be happy with ANY healthy child at this point, but if I were to have my dreams come true I would eventually have one of each, so it's nice to have that possibility open to us.
Will you choose the sex for your transfer? Or let the embryologist surprise you? It's so exciting!!! We're hoping to start with a male embryo, which our doctor suggested because we have more males available.
Thanks. Such a bummer to lose a job that I love. Hopefully something will come around soon. Crappy timing especially since we’re transferring soon. I’ve been at my job for 3 yrs. Now I’ll be starting a new job already pregnant (hopefully)...just awkward.
We’re going to let the MD pick the embryo and we’ll find out later. I have my baseline appt on Thursday!!!
Jumping over here from... I can't even recall - March FET? So much time has passed and A LOT has happened since our ER in February (added to my signature if anyone is curious).
We're finally getting back on track and have our FET scheduled for July 14th! My baseline and trial transfer were this morning. It went well! We're also going to let the MD pick the best embryo and find out the gender later - feels like a fun way to have a little surprise when so much of this process is already so transparent.

Welcome, @ritadesign! Congrats on the baseline & mock transfer. Woohoo!!! Your transfer is scheduled the day after me and @covergirl2985. How exciting! This will be my first transfer as well.
You're right - February feels like it was decades ago. What a strange time to be going through IVF. I also recently started a new job, @covergirl2985, and totally know what you mean. It will be awkward to tell my new boss if I fall pregnant so soon, but I sure as heck am not willing to wait any longer to try!
What protocols are you guys on? I'm doing daily Lupron injections + estradiol pills building up to PIO injections before the transfer. So far no side effects, thankfully.
Hi @eggcellent! I'm on 2mg of Estrace (estradiol) 2x daily for 7 days, building up to 3x daily. After two weeks total of Estrace, my PIO injections will start up, but I will also continue taking the Estrace 3x/day. A few days into PIO injections I'll start taking Medrol (Methylprednisolone) pills as well. I'm just a day in, so no side effects yet!
What are some things y'all are doing to help prep your body for transfer? I've been taking prenatals, drinking plenty of water, and going for walks. I'm sure there's more that I can do, but I'm trying to avoid being super strict with myself. I feel like that might stress me out more!

I have my baseline tomorrow for FET on 7/13. I assume I'll start Estrace this week. I'm also taking a pre-natal, l-arginine, coQ10, vit D + E and drinking Red Raspberry Leaf tea for lining. Other than that (sheesh) trying to drink a ton of water, eat healthily and stay sane!
The loss of my job has my mind off of the FET, so hopefully that will help with that anxiety at least...and the TWW!
Hi all. I got the call earlier this week that I am good to start my next cycle. I started estradiol today and will go in for monitoring on 7/14. FET is tentatively scheduled for 7/20. This will be my third cycle trying for #2. I'm hopeful but nervous for more disappointment.

@covergirl2985 - UGH I'm sorry to hear you were benched. I had one mondo cyst at the baseline for my first round of IVF, I was crushed. The infertility game is all about "hurry up and wait." I remember I even l even googled if there were ways to rupture follicles/cysts faster so they would go away... the internet was like "lol no."
@laurad75 - Congrats on getting the green light! Fingers crossed for you.
I've just been taking prenatals and trying to walk also. I should probably be drinking more water, though. Thanks for the reminder about the raspberry leaf tea @ritadesign, I'm going to go brew a mug now!!!
@covergirl2985 I'm so sorry to hear that your transfer has been pushed out! My fingers are crossed that you're still able to transfer this month, though. Please keep us updated!
@laurad75 Congrats on receiving your transfer date! I didn't have any issues with commenting, but glad you were able to get through eventually. So strange.
@eggcellent How are you feeling? Any side effects from the meds yet?

How's everyone doing? We must be getting close to some baselines and transfers @laurad75 Congrats on getting the go ahead! I wasn't locked out from commenting, but every now and then when I click on the website link in my favourites I'm logged out, which then I can't reply.
@covergirl2985 Bummer your FET is pushed out... hoping you can get back on track soon!
We were away at our camp for about a week with our 1 year old daughter. It was busy but so great to relax and float in the water. We're in Ontario, Canada and it was about 30-35 degrees Celsius and the camp has no electricity! It was a hot week!!
AFM I'm back on estrace 2x per day and now started PIO 1mL every 3 days, plus Crinone suppositories 2x per day. My baseline appt was this past Friday and everything looks good. The transfer is scheduled for this Thursday, July 9th at 9 am.
Baseline #2 tomorrow morning. Hopefully my leftover follicles have gone down so I can stop BCP and get on Estrace. They have me scheduled for FET #4 on 7/28 🤞🏻
I’ve been spotting since last baseline bc I was off BCP for 3 days then had to restart it 🤦🏼♀️
Hopefully that won’t be an issue.
When does everyone else transfer?! I’d love to start a Google spreadsheet with all of our transfer days etc. let me know if you’d like me to set that up for us!
My target date for transfer is the 20th. My monitoring is next Tuesday and I will know for sure then.

Hey ladies! I went for my lining check on Sunday and I was only at 3.5 mm - super disappointed. My doctor had me add one vaginal estrace pill per day on top of my 3x oral estrace. But I also started drinking pomegranate juice, beetroot juice, red raspberry leaf tea, and trying to jog in the morning and evening - literally ANYTHING to get my blood flowing so I can thicken the lining!! I knew this was going to be an issue for me, because my periods have been so light since I got off Mirena 2 years ago, I figured my lining must be pretty thin. Bleh. Have any of you struggled with thin lining?
Anyway, my doc scheduled another lining check this coming Sunday, if I can make it to 6mm by then we will have a transfer date of 7/20 - same as you @laurad75!!
I just started my PIO shots this morning. It wasn’t too bad... reading up on some tips and tricks beforehand probably helped me! My clinic also tested me for COVID. They require it and if you test negative they cancel your cycle. I’m happy to report that I’m negative! So right now my transfer is still on track for July 14!
@sfield21 Thinking of you today! Hope your transfer went great this morning and that your resting! Fingers crossed for you!
@covergirl2985 I like your spreadsheet idea! Let’s do it! Haha How was your follow up appointment?

@covergirl2985 - Congrats! Back in the game!! July 28th will be here before you know it.
@sfield21 - I secretly love when people transfer "BB" embryos because I say it like "baby" in my mind and it feels like a good omen hehe I hope it sticks!!
@ritadesign - Yay for starting PIO!!! You're almost there now. *It's the final countdownnn*
As for me, I have my second lining check on Sunday (Jul 12). Fingers crossed I've managed to thicken things up in there and can transfer on the 20th.
@ritadesign good luck to you tomorrow! So excited that it’s time!!! 👶🏼 @sfield how are you feeling? Any symptoms?
I have my first lining check on 7/22. I’m on Estrace 3x/day, Metformin 2x day, levothyroxine, l-arginine, Vit D + E, pre-natal, and drinking Red Raspberry Leaf tea at night.
@covergirl2985 I seriously love the spreadsheet! I think it's a really sweet touch to add the due date column. (Also, it looks like I can only "view" and cannot edit, but I shot you a request for editing access).
Thank you for the luck! I can't believe the day is already here. July 14th felt forever away initially. I've taken the second half of today off (as well as tomorrow). Even though I'm working from home for the foreseeable future, I still wanted to give myself some free time in advance to relax and enjoy being excited!
I'm curious - anyone planning to eat some pineapple + core or even McDonald's fries? LOL I don't put much stock into these things, but with this being my first transfer I think it's fun. It almost feels like a rite of passage!
@sfield21 How are you feeling? @eggcellent How was your second lining check? @laurad75 Any updates? Still shooting for the 20th?
Thinking of all of you!

@ritadesign My monitoring appt is tomorrow morning so fingers crossed my transfer is still the 20th but this is my 3rd FET and I have never not had it pushed back at least once due to lining issues so we will see. I'm doing femoral massage to try and increase blood flow and I've been upping my vitamin C intake. I'm also doing weekly acupuncture.

Thanks for asking @covergirl2985. My lining looked great at 8.4 so I start PIO tomorrow morning and my transfer is scheduled for next Monday. Usually it takes me at least 3 monitoring appts and med adjustments to get the lining thick enough so I'm taking this as a good sign for this cycle. Yay.

@covergirl2985 I’m feeling fairly normal.. the odd cramps but that’s about it. I don’t remember how I felt with our FET 2 years ago that resulted in our daughter. But I think I felt no change then too.
I give myself the PIO shot and the needle itself isn’t too bad, but the morning after I’m hurting like crazy for a good 2 days. Like hurts a lot to walk and sit Etc. I’ve tried massaging after, heating pad, walking around ... it just hurts so bad. I’m honestly not sure I’m doing it in the right spot... or the best spot. I asked a nurse at our clinic and she wasn’t too helpful. She drew squares on my cheeks in totally different locations. Any thoughts??

FET 4: 7/30/20, Beta 1:66 Beta 2: 110...Ectopic pregnancy @ 6 weeks with Male (transferred 1)
FET 5: 11/18/20, Beta 1: 97 Beta 2: 384 Beta 3: 1010....Miscarriage @ 7 weeks with Female (transferred 1)
FET 6: 3/9/21 - Canceled due to poor lining response
FET 6.5: 7/28/21 - Beta 1: 21.5 Beta 2: 31.4 Beta 3: 28 - Chemical pregnancy, Female (transferred 1)
FET 7: 12/8/21 - Beta 1: 9 Beta 2: - Chemical pregnancy, Male+? (transferred 2)

We're finally getting back on track and have our FET scheduled for July 14th! My baseline and trial transfer were this morning. It went well! We're also going to let the MD pick the best embryo and find out the gender later - feels like a fun way to have a little surprise when so much of this process is already so transparent.

What are some things y'all are doing to help prep your body for transfer? I've been taking prenatals, drinking plenty of water, and going for walks. I'm sure there's more that I can do, but I'm trying to avoid being super strict with myself. I feel like that might stress me out more!

So strange.

@ritadesign - Yay for starting PIO!!! You're almost there now. *It's the final countdownnn*
As for me, I have my second lining check on Sunday (Jul 12). Fingers crossed I've managed to thicken things up in there and can transfer on the 20th.

Yay.
