  • @surlyjaneausten was just trending in that same direction. Haha.
  • @surlyjaneausten I'm with you. It is so humid here already and I just feel gross. I can't remember what I did last time around because I was due in August so I had to have done something but, I can't remember what.

  • My wedding ring is already getting too tight to wear 😬 I think it’s mostly due to the humidity, but I definitely thought it’d be longer before I couldn’t wear it anymore!
  • @lalarose22 this is my first time I recall that I may need to buy a silicone ring. My hands are swelling up so much!

@acdc1109 were expecting our fourth girl. I REALLY wanted four babies. I mean coming up with a fourth girl name is tripping us up but I can care a less about gender. People say oh your poor husband or oh are you hoping for a boy? Um happy healthy baby would be nice. That say these things IN FRONT OF MY GIRLS. Um which one would I not have???!!! Sorry. Haha.

My random is I AM SO DANG TIRED. But if I don’t move I can’t sleep. I just want to sit. Grrrr.
  • I could probably sleep from now til November!!! I’m TIRED!

  • @mama-buckets I love that! It’s super cute!!

Anybody else's belly button already starting to pop out? Mine was never really deep, but I don't think it has much more time left as an innie. I swear when I showered yesterday morning it was like before but my fiancé noticed later that evening that it looked like it was turning into an outie and he was right. Now I've always felt funny about my belly button (touching it, other people touching it...), so I'm a little freaked out... 😅
  • @surlyjaneausten same.

@acdc1109 and @name1109 This is baby #4 here too, we wanted a boy undoubtedly, but I'm actually a little relived that she's a girl and we're happy with this also. SO is happy to be a #girldad and I love having a bunch of little best friends to do everything with. So, it really annoys me when people act so disappointed for us that it's another girl *eye roll*

Anyone watching anything good on netflix / amazon prime / hulu?
I usually follow murder trials on Court TV during the day at work. But I need a change right now. Any opinions on the 4th season of 13 reasons why? (Full disclosure, I watched a ton of TV during quarantine and typically watch a lot of TV during the day at work - sometimes I listen to podcasts or audio books during work also.)

    Thank You Ladies!

I just order 5 guys for lunch so let's just say today is not going to be a really healthy eating day!

@Ecat504 We tend to watch more movies than shows but, some we have watched on Netflix and loved are Peaky Blinders, The Kingdom (Ancient Korea and Zombies!), Travelers, Into the Night, and we just started Betaal on Saturday.

  • @windywoman YUM! I love Five Guys and now am craving it, so thanks, lol! And Peaky Blinders is a great show.
  • @ecat504 also, not sure if you'd enjoy it because it is pretty teen-y, but I just finished all of Riverdale over the weekend on Netflix and really enjoyed it.
  • @windywoman 5 guys has the best french fries! and also I cannot handle zombies. They are legit my biggest fear LOL not in the sense that I'm genuinely afraid of a zombie apocalypse but like if I see them they just scare me. I cannot deal with it!

  • @windywoman Happy Birthday! Can we all have a slice of your 🍰 😁?

@Ecat504 we just started watching Space Force. It’s got some good parts. Also a funny movie on Netflix is The Wrong Missy.

Rant: I’ve been bad about bringing my lunch to work. Pre pregnancy I would skip lunch all the time, but now I need to eat. I try and avoid leaving because we already have to work overtime. Our little eatery in our building has yet to open because of Corona. I tried to order a Medium Pizza from Pizza Hut for lunch and the total was going to be $30. And that seems like the standard of any lunch delivery food options.. $20-$30 after you add tip and delivery fee. Everything has gone up in price! And last time I got something out of the snack machine it was out of date, because so many people have not returned to work. Shame on me for not bringing my lunch! I just want to have some cheaper options.

What are you taking to work for lunch?
  • @potofgolden I made some buffalo chicken the other night, it was delicious, that's what I've been picking on. It's good hot or cold. I boiled the chicken, shredded it in my stand mixer, and mixed it with Franks buffalo sauce. I eat it in a bowl with lettuce, cheese, and ranch. SO likes it in a spinach wrap with lettuce and the kids eat it in a regular tortilla.

  • @potofgolden $20 for lunch is totally normal in NYC (which is crazy and why we bring lunch)! I've been doing a ton of egg salad sandwiches which are a weird, but rather convenient, pregnancy craving.
  • @windywoman HAPPY BIRTHDAY! I hope you enjoy your cake extra for all of us!
  • @Ecat504 I think I may give the buffalo chicken a try. I’ll make sure and have some tums on hand though.
  • @Ecat504 I totally get this! I actually hated breastfeeding DS1 because it was so painful for me and I struggled a lot in the beginning (to the extent that I would cry when it was time for him to eat). Luckily, it got better and with DS2 it was just as bad but I was able to handle it better because I knew what to expect and knew it would get easier. Honestly, I know I'll breastfeed again this time but only because formula is expensive! I also know that once we hit about 6 months I won't stress myself out about (unlike the first time) and if we have to switch it's fine. I'm glad I made it work for the first two kids but it is definitely not something I look forward to with having a baby!
  • @Ecat504 so I nursed my son for a long time. I actually just cut off his bedtime nurse because my boobs are so sore. And I feel like finally I have some freedom but dang it, I have to start again in five months. I’m not sure how I’ll feel when baby is born but I totally get not wanting to. I probably will because of internal guilt too, but it’s such a (sometimes joyful) burden!
  • Does breast feeding hurt the 2nd time around? I was hoping since I’ve already bf and it will be a little over a year since I stopped with LO that it won’t hurt as bad. In the beginning with DD I would scream out in pain when she would latch. The nips started to bleed.. I’m sure it was partly or all because she wasn’t latching right. I plan to bf LO for health reasons for both of us, money saving, and not having to wash and warm up bottles all the time. It’s so much more convenient to just whip out the boob.
@Ecat504 no judgment here if you don’t want to. But I say everyone should give it a try at least.
  • @potofgolden Honestly, I think it was just as painful the second time but I also used a shield with my first but not 2nd. I definitely had one side crack and bleed but I found bamboobies nipple cream to be my savior! It got better faster so fingers crossed that it isn't painful for you this time!
  • @surlyjaneausten These ugly shorts are honestly my fav chub rub solution. Comfy af, don't roll or slide up, decently priced. IDK why the company is called Sexy Basics because that they aren't, but they are marvelous. https://www.amazon.com/Sexy-Basics-Buttery-Brushed-Charcoal/dp/B07FC3DL38
  • @Ecat504 I started watching Zoey's Extraordinary Playlist on Hulu because it got reviewed on a podcast I listen to and they were like, "It's not very deep and not very heavy," and I'm like yeah, that sounds like a low bar show to watch. I binged The Great a couple of weeks ago and very much enjoyed that.
  • @scatteringashes I have those same shorts but couldn't remember where I got them to recommend them. They're great, especially for the price.

  • @scatteringashes thank you! I ordered some from Motherhood Maternity but they’re like legit shape wear and I don’t think they’ll be comfy enough to wear all day. I can’t even tolerate shape wear while not pregnant.
