Re: June Symptoms

  • I had been feeling good today, then the headache started so I laid down. Woke up from a nap with a headache still and now nauseous. Ugh

  • 13w today! Still waiting for that alleged energy burst (so tired still) but feeling great otherwise. Still get tinges of sore nipples (like right now, after working out).

Also getting lots of little teeny bursts of pain in my uterus area. Just like teeny little fleeting ones. I figure it’s probably things growing and stretching down there.
  • @laurenspdx I’ve had a dull ache in my right ovary/uterus all day  :/

Same brief aches/pains in my uterus/pelvis @bearmomma1 @laurenspdx I am still so tired, feeling randomly uneasy after eating, but not 24/7 misery. Have had some random headaches but noticing they’re happening more often. Also give me all of the sandwiches & pizza. They are all I want to eat. I need to get back into a workout routine.

oh and I’ve been increasingly grumpy with my husband. I feel bad, trying to reign it in and not fully unleash) but he’s definitely getting hit hard lately. He’s taking it all in stride and somehow still kissing me goodnight, bless that lovely lovely man (who at the same time infuriates me!) #hormones

@bearmomma1 and @shelmcclel ugh with the headaches, mine has been non stop for day’s now. I hope you start feeling better soon.

So I’m trying to figure out if I’m crazy or not... I’m 13+2 and I swear I can feel movement. It’s super light but feels like a minimal version of what I had with DD (I didn’t realize it until 18+ weeks with her). It’s in the correct location. I’ve got GI issues so I’m hyper aware of my gut and can definitely tell this is not gas...

    anyone else feeling something?

  • +1 for the headaches and dull achey uterus

@jchpg I felt something the other night. I'm only 12 weeks but this is baby #3 for me and I'm sure what I felt was not gas. I was sitting on the bed, Indian style, kinda hunched over and I felt it twice. It was very slight but definitely there!

Add me to the headaches list. I’ve been getting them a lot lately and the dull and achey uterus too. Although I’ve had slightly more energy this past week I’m still pretty tired and want to nap. I’ve been having sooo much bloat all the time ugh.

Edited: to add, also having lots of back pain still daily.
  • @jchpg I’ve felt a couple flutters including a few minutes ago, I’m 13+5. This is my 3rd and I feel like I recognize it now. I don’t think you’re crazy!

  • I’m also feeling flutters at 13w! It might be gas sometimes haha, but I swear it’s a new feeling. I’m a FTM though so I don’t quite know what they’d feel like yet.

Also add me to the headache list too. They usually set in late in the day. I’ve been trying to drink even more water which helps a bit.
  • So many headaches. I can feel all the pressure building up in my neck and then it evolves to a headache really fast. I was able to knock one out quick with Tylenol and coke earlier.

I’ve been feeling fluttering too! I think I felt them at 14w last time so I don’t think it’s crazy to think I’m feeling them this early this time.
  • I keep thinking I’m feeling flutters too but it seems too high! Somewhere (on here?) I saw a chart of where baby would be based on weeks, and at this point baby should be below belly button? But I’m feeling higher.

  • Today could be interesting, since I tend to not feel good in the afternoon and then throw up around 4:30-5.  Well I will be working at that time or commuting home from my very public facing job.  Hoping it goes okay!!!  The nice thing is my commute went from 1.5hours to .5 hours with everyone staying home!
  • Been feeling the fluttering for a while now, we aren't crazy! Its hard to tell between all the gas going on in there but I'm sure of it...

Is anyone else having an adverse reaction to coffee?  Very early in pregnancy it upset my stomach so I haven't had any more.  Then this morning I thought I'd have a cup to see how it went.  The answer was NOT GOOD.  I just took some tums and I'm hoping I won't have to go to the bathroom again anytime soon.

@karmba yep, have totally given up coffee.  I watched my coworker try to drink it well past 20 weeks and she threw up every time.  Once I started feeling sick with it at the beginning, I just stopped drinking it altogether.  So sad. ☹
  • karmbakarmba member
@gh1219 I was fine with it while pregnant with DS, so I was hoping for that experience this time as well.  Oh well, tea it is!

  • @karmba I haven’t really been able to drink it since I started feeling sick around week 5. It’s just lost all its appeal and it messes w my GI system when I have tried it (which is crazy because I used to be addicted). Don’t think I’ll go back for a while. Tea for me too these days 💁🏼‍♀️
  • @karmba I stopped drinking it for a few weeks because it just didn’t sound good, but I got my H an espresso/latte machine for his bday last week and now I’m obsessed with making vanilla lattes and caramel machiattos! Using Decaf coffee for me

  • I am normally a coffee all day kind of girl, but the last few days I just haven’t even wanted it. It doesn’t make me feel sick or anything though.
  • I haven’t had coffee at all in my pregnancy. I LOVE coffee but can’t drink it often cause it upsets my tummy and gives me headaches and makes me feel sick so I don’t drink it too much. I’ve decided it wasn’t worth it to make me feel sick during pregnancy here and there so I’ve cut it out completely.
  • I drink espresso drinks made at home or cold brew also made at home, hot brewed coffee has the most acid so maybe it's that that your body is not liking.
  • All of the sudden I keep having to use the bathroom. And I started throwing up at night again. Fun times ladies, fun times. 😂😂
    DS born 2016
  • I’ve been feeling pretty good. I’m hoping my nausea is mostly gone!
  • @tryingktogku. So does mine!  If I am really grumpy, he will actually tuck me in bed with a snack!  Maybe he is on to something or maybe he just wants some quiet time!
  • @laurenspdx add another 🙋🏼‍♀️ to the grumpy train!

I think I have caffeine withdrawal for maybe the first time since college?? I generally don't drink much coffee (one cup a day), and lately have been closer to half a cup. I've skipped days before, but generally it doesn't bother me unless I do 2-3 days in a row. However, today I skipped because I didn't feel like downing some before my OBGYN appointment. Exhausted, foggy, mild headache...I wish I'd taken all of today off instead of just the morning
  • I officially am hating working 12 hour shifts. I can do 8 hours no problem but every time I hit that 8 hour mark I hit such a wall I’ve been taking a short break to nap at work when I can it’s awful
  • @tryingktogku. My job wanted me to start working ten hour shifts outside in over 80 degree weather.  These jobs would also require me to be on my feet most of the day.  My doctor and I discussed it and she was concerned about that.  She said they don't recommend working more than 8 hours while pregnant especially if you are going to be on your feet.  She wrote me a note to bring to my employer.  Not sure if you are interested in that route or just waiting for the rumored second trimester additional energy.  Just something to think about.
  • @dobiemom11 my husband has been tucking me into bed too, haha - Bc I’m tired so much earlier than normal. He literally prepares the bed and my pajamas & then makes sure I’m cozy before kissing me goodnight. It must be in the handbook for husbands of pregnant wives!
  • I swear yesterday must’ve been growth spurt day or something because I was wiped out all day and ate everything in sight. Today I’m back to my normal self. And +1 for grumpy.
  • @dobiemom11 unfortunately my job doesn’t have “modified” work when it comes to hours of job duties as so you either do the job or go off and I’m on my feet 99% of the time but I bring two pairs of shoes to switch up the support and wear compression stockings! Im planning on taking my three weeks holidays before baby is due to help at the end tho!
  • jchpgjchpg member
@shelmcclel someone forgot to send my husband that handbook  :D
  • @jchpg I'm with ya girl. Someone forgot to send my husband that handbook too 🤣
  • @jchpg and @mindyb2019. I think my husband realizes I am like an overtired toddler.  Fighting sleep and getting crankier by the minute.  Plus once I am in bed, he gets to play video games and watch whatever he wants on TV.  Technically a win for both of us (nap and uncontested TV), but I don't always see it that way.

@tryingktogku. Bummer sorry!  I was hoping to delay my return a bit, since I get sick a lot still.  But they would have let me go without the doctor's note.  This is a compromise, so we will see how it goes.  I have two more working days before my next drs appointment.  I need to get compression socks as well.  Any suggestions?
  • @dobiemom11 my Dr. gave me a prescription for compression stockings last pregnancy and insurance paid for then at the medical device store.  Might be worth asking about at your next appointment if its soon

  • Currently experiencing my second migraine ever. It started coming on before bed last night and has just been getting worse.
My first was when I was 6 months pregnant with my son. Tylenol hasn’t touched it and neither did the coke I just tried. So miserable 😖 trying to play with my 2 kids and I just want to lay down.

  • JBcakes they’re miserable. Heating pad on neck and ice on forehead seems to help. Also my previous doctor recommended Benadryl for everything including headaches and dizziness, maybe you could ask your doctor if they have any recs other than Tylenol?
