@akoros also to give you some insight the pregnant body typically looses some muscle and gains some fat to protect baby/ give you extra stores if you get sick and in doing so you may not gain weight but gain in size as fat take up more space than muscle per pound! So if you lost 5lbs of muscle but gained 5lbs of fat you’d notice a change in size but not on the scale! This is totally normal!
So a few days ago I posted that I had been feeling better. Not anymore. Nausea is back in full force. I can’t keep anything down today. Also have an awful headache. Was hoping I was over the hump, but apparently not. 11w3d today.
@shelmcclel I hope you feel better soon! I've been having waves of nausea all morning. I havent been nauseous in like two weeks! So frustrating as I thought I was past that hump. I'm also 11+3 today.
@nmadjeski ahhh I'm so sorry! Its still not as bad as it was 2-3 weeks ago, but such a bummer. Throwing up makes me cry every single time but also getting emotional over all of the remotely emotional things
I hadn’t been crying at all for the last few weeks but I had a big emotional breakdown this morning. There’s just so much going on in the world that’s heartbreaking, it felt so overwhelming. I think that a few weeks of emotions had been building up 😕
I’ve had a migraine from hell since last night. I started getting them in my last pregnancy, but that one included auras and slurred speech and lasted for like 2 weeks. Let’s hope it doesn’t get that bad this time.
Also joining the rest of you crying over everything this week.
Has anyone been taking unisom to help with restlessness at night? I only tried it for two nights and didn't feel like it was helping but now that I haven't I'm so dead tired so maybe it was working ...
Also is anyone else constantly hot even if they're cold? I know that doesn't make since but it's freezing in my house but I can't be under the blanket cus I feel like throwing up cus I get hot almost instantly.
@maisas yes! I do take unisom some nights, not regularly because I don’t want to be totally dependent. Sometimes I feel like it helps and others not so much. And as far as the hot and cold- yes! A lot through the night. Or just feel like clammy in general through the day.
@maisas in my last pregnancy I took it nearly every night, but half a tablet instead of the whole thing. It helped me fall back asleep after waking up to pee. I haven't had to this pregnancy yet but if I do I will without hesitation.
@maisas. I have been taking it every night with the B6 three times a day to help with nausea. I am also only taking a half tablet like @willashbaby. I think it does help me fall back asleep after I get up. I start work back this week, so we will see if I regret it when I have to be somewhere in the morning. I just seen to be dead tired all the time and can use an afternoon nap most days. My husband was actually bribing me to eat lunch yesterday with a nap.
I also have the hot/cold scenario. At my house, putting the ceiling fan on helps. Then I can be under the blanket, but still have some air flow on my face (like rolling down the window when you feel car sick).
@nmadjeski. I am where you were earlier. I was good for a week and now in the waves of nausea-land. Not throwing up though, so improvement 🤷. At least when I was throwing up, I would feel better afterwards. 11weeks today.
Edited: well that didn't last long. At least I feel better!
Totally looking pregnant the past two days (10 weeks). Weight still hasn't budged, but belly is out and my whole abdomen feels firm. This is a bit earlier than last time, though last time I was still trying to hide it and wearing Spanx whereas now I can just let it all hang out since I'm not seeing anyone
