@dreamscapes_ I’ve had dizziness daily since day one. My drs nurse suggested drinking a full 8 oz glass of water, eating something sweet, and laying down whenever I get dizzy. This has helped me a lot and I’m not getting dizzy quite as often.
@mindyb2019 how far along are you? Last time I felt completely normal until 7.5-8 weeks, then I was tired and nauseous pretty much until 15 weeks. This time I’m exhausted all morning until 2 or 3 in the afternoon then I get an energy boost for a couple hours and then crash again.
@mindyb2019. Based on measurements, I am closer to 6 weeks along, so we are similar. On Sunday I felt completely normal and today I am exhausted and throwing up everything I eat. So I think it comes and goes! I am trying to be productive on the good days and just hold on for the not so good ones. Mine tend to be a good one followed by a bad one or two, so not sure if I am pushing too hard on the good days.
@dobiemom11 hmm ok. Good to know. ok well I'll just think positive and cherish the good days everyday that I have as things could change overnight. Sorry your exhausted and throwing up everything you eat.
@mindyb2019 exhaustion kicked my butt today. Felt like I had weights tied to my eyelids and a fog over my brain. I’m 9 weeks today and I can’t wait for this and the constant nausea to end!

@bearmomma1. I love the description of brain fog. I was literally just having a conversation with my husband and I forgot the word I needed. Just couldn't remember it. He was looking at me blankly like I can't read your mind.
@mindyb2019 My fatigue definitely varies day to day. I’ve had a few day stretches where I actually didn’t need a nap (especially a couple weeks ago) but then it would usually hit me hard again a few days later. Especially with everyone’s normal schedules being disrupted, I’m sure that symptom will come and go a fair amount.
@willashbaby I also had gastric sleeve, which this is my first pregnancy since I had it (it’ll be 6 years end of May) and I worry so much about it and pregnancy! Have you noticed anything different because of your GS?
I love reading all these comments because they’re so reassuring and also makes me laugh, especially about everything bagels and cream cheese, as that’s on my curbside grocery pick up for the morning!!
I’m 6w3d and my symptoms so far have been: -Occasional bouts of nausea, that happen at all different times since 4w, but no vomiting -Extreme heightened sense of smell -Bloating, literally feel like a whoopie cushion that can be squeezed any moment -Mild cramping and stretching pains
-Only craving so far has been Crunchy Cheetos. The day before I got my BFP, I sent MH to Sam’s to buy me the Frito Lay Flavor Pack with crunchy Cheetos. I even text him a picture of the box. He comes home with a different box and it has CHEETOS PUFFS! Now, I love me some puffy Cheetos, but it’s not what I was wanting... so.. I was so disappointed (& made it very known), I got on Sam’s app and ordered the box I asked for and a 50 PACK of (only) Crunchy Cheetos. Needless to say, I was very much so pregnant and was a very happy pregnant lady a few days later when 60 bags of Crunchy Cheetos were delivered to my door!
-Also, to follow up with Crunchy Cheetos request, I am a little extra irritable. Hahahah. I do relate some of that to having 3 kids at home 24 flippin 7 and having to homeschool all 3 (an 8th grader and two 2nd graders), working as a Realtor from home, with 3 said homeschooling kids, and a husband who is extreeeemely laid back and “everything is cool” kinda personality, whom I adore, BUT can add to my irritability, as well as being pregnant. -Pure exhaustion and horrible sleep schedule and insomnia. That’s pretty typical for me, but it’s much worse now. -Vivid, and I mean VIVID dreams, every.single.night! -Pounding migraines and car sick every time I’m in the car now -Freeeeeequent urination. This started a few days before I could take a HPT. It was so intense that I told MH I would be shocked if my HPT showed negative.
After writing all that out, I’m feeling like the only symptom I’m not experiencing is sore boobs, which has concerned me, a little, but I know we all have different symptoms and some not at all. It’s also nice to be able to word vomit everything I’m going through to people who completely understand!! This is my first pregnancy in 8+ years and I feel like a FTM experiencing My first pregnancy all over, again! I had my oldest (who’s almost 14) as a teenager and am paranoid about every little thing because I’m 33 and just praying everything is on track and it’ll be a smooth pregnancy!
@shantx Nope! I'm a bit worried about later on as I had a hernia repair during the sleeve from a gallbladder surgery I had BUT I've had friends with tummy tucks have babies after and they did fine. As long as the hernia repair holds up I'm good, If not I'll just have to get it fixed again (at which point F it I'll have a TT since this will be my LAST baby). I've pretty much adjusted to normal with smaller portions with the sleeve. Nothing I can't eat/or drink, just not too much. I haven't had bloodwork in awhile though so I'll see how I'm doing vitamin wise soon enough.
@mindyb2019 everyone is different! Hopefully you do experience some strong symptoms just to put ur mind at ease! My nausea comes and goes and sometimes I don’t even feel pregnant then all of a sudden I get nauseated and I’m like nope there it is lol
Had curried red lentils and kale for dinner last night and oh. my. god, it was exactly what my stomach needed. Sounds like a weird thing when you're nauseated, but it had a bunch of ginger and turmeric, and despite the spices it doesn't have a super crazy flavor. Looking forward to the lunch leftovers.
Hopefully today I'll be able to make the bagels that I was supposed to make yesterday (to go with the cream cheese I just bought). I've been promising my husband bagels for months, I need to actually deliver.
@shantx, I can't quite remember, but I think my boobs got bad a bit later last time (closer to 8 weeks). In general I wouldn't worry too much, though, symptoms vary from person to person and (I'm told) pregnancy to pregnancy. Be glad you can comfortably jaunt down some stairs without having to grab your chest.
@shantx Haha! I cried over pop chips the day before I got my BFP which sort of tipped me off. My SO and I stopped at the store and I asked him to get me some because I was craving them and he forgot. I sobbed the ride home!
Sounds like you’re similar to me and my SO. He’s so laid back and I’m such a type A control freak. Sometimes I can get frustrated that he’s not as anxious about everything as me, but then I usually realize that’s a good thing! I need someone to balance me out
I have a weird new symptom - maybe some other BTDT mom can relate. My CS scar feels odd, when I touch it I can feel hard scar tissue and I get slight cramp twinges coming from it. I googled like crazy last night and apparently it's normal and could get worse as the pregnancy goes on. I'll be bringing it up to my dr. for sure.
My poor husband. We were making lunch in the kitchen and he runs to the bathroom really quick while his food is heating up. He was gone for like a minute and then I just started sobbing that he had left me alone in the kitchen. Just went and sat outside the bathroom crying. He was so sweet and was like let's get your lunch and wrap you up in blankets on the couch. (I am sure he is hoping I will fall asleep after I eat lunch, so he can get some work done!)
@dobiemom11 that’s so sweet of him ❤️ The other night, some friends and I were having a virtual movie night and it was one I had recommended and love a lot, and DH didn’t want to watch with me. I ended up bawling on the couch during the climax and once it was over, went and hugged him. It was just Shrek the Musical 🤣
Anyone else experiencing round ligament pain already? I find I’m super aware of every symptom at work for some reason but I deff have heightened sense of small, big tender boobs, nausea, food cravings (all the carbs), food aversions (meat), intermittent nausea, bloating, heartburn, moodiness and most of all I am always tired! I feel like I could nap at any given point no matter how much sleep I get!
@karmba Yes! I can't really feel anything on my scar, but it feels tight. I know I have adhesions, so I am sure it's some of it stretching and breaking scar tissue.
AFM- feeling much better today than I was yesterday. Tired. But the horrible morning sickness from yesterday is a little better.
@tryingktogku actually, no. For me it was the worst in the beginning. I can't really complain much about physical stuff in my last pregnancy. The only thing I had at the end was obvious pressure once his head really moved down but I was never really in pain until labor. I DID have prodromal labor on and off for a week before he was born which was SUPER annoying but other than that I can't really complain. I honestly think I had an unusually easy pregnancy. Made up for it with the birth but it is what it is.
Last night I gagged on my toothbrush enough that I almost threw up. The resulting dry heave made me pee myself a little. God, pregnancy/motherhood are so glamorous.
@karmba I checked mine as soon as I read your comment but I don’t think mine feels different.
Oh.my.word. Yesterday was awful. I think I had a migraine and I was nauseous and vomiting all day long. I couldn’t keep anything down. I thankfully had a tele visit with my doctor who called in a prescription for me but I kept throwing it up! Today started off better but I definitely started feeling really sick as the day went on. I was able to keep down my medication and I think it helped. I just want to be able to eat food!
To any BTDT moms who experienced morning sickness - when did it peak for you? I started with it early (at 4 1/2 weeks), it got really bad from 6-7. I’m 8w today and the past couple of days, it’s actually been quite manageable (I still have crazy fatigue and sore boobs so those symptoms are going strong). I may just be getting better at managing, though.
It seems a little early for the nausea/vomiting to be getting better, but curious about other people’s experiences - did it come and go? When was it the worst and when did you feel better?
For me it has always come and gone. With pregnancy #3, my morning sickness didn’t really hit until about 8 weeks, but still ended at about 12-13 weeks. Some days are good, some days you have to go home from work because you saw grilled chicken and that turned your stomach 🤷🏻♀️. So far with this one, the nausea has been minimal but I’m still only 7w2d, so I’m bracing for the worst still to come for me. Just like they say, really every pregnancy is different. I have some of those Pink Stork morning sickness candies and when I feel queasy they do help. I picked them up from Target.
@laurenspdx I’m the exact same as you! Was really bad at first now it’s manageable but I think my diet has helped a lot too and the sore boobs and crazy fatigue is still there so I’m not worried!
Also ladies who have also been constipated I’ve found a solution! sprinkle ground flax seed on everything you eat lol. It’s all natural, doesn’t cause more gas and bloating and works in a day or two!
Hey Ladies- one symptom I've had for about a week now is chest pain. (more toward the boobs) they don't necessarily feel sore , but a little pain and uncomfortable, it comes and goes. This is a new one for me. Anyone else experiencing this? should I be worried?

@mrspants0809 today wasn’t so bad with the dizziness 🤞🏻 Maybe that’s a good sign.
