Upcoming appointments: Anatomy scan 4/9. Have not heard if H can come or not and I haven't been daring enough to call and ask because I will be so disappointed.
How are you feeling? Good. Just easily exhausted. Starting to feel movement when I lay very still at night. Annoying symptoms have been bloody boogers and peeing my pants if a sneeze or cough is surprising and I am squatting or lifting at the time.
Raves/Rants: Rant - I AM SO SICK OF PEEING MY PANTS!!! Rave - We worked really hard to have my 4yo learn my phone number last week and our address and my 2yo picked it up and is so proud of himself that he is now telling us my phone number all the time. Slightly glad that he is socially distant from everyone right now otherwise strangers would be being told my phone number.

GTKY: What is something you hate that everyone else seems to love? Baked goods made from chocolate batter or dough (ie brownies, chocolate cake, chocolate cookies) or Arianna Grande.

How are you feeling? Pretty good pregnancy wise.

GTKY: What is something you hate that everyone else seems to love? I can’t stand reality tv when it’s performances (the voice, American idol). I get so embarrassed for people when they mess up I just can’t watch.

How are you feeling? Nausea is finally starting to ease up. My anxiety is still crazy though. And when I went out yesterday I got seriously short of breath

How are you feeling: Good, nausea is over-woohoo! Less tired although I’m already starting to do what I did during my last pregnancy where I would wake up multiple times from 1am-7am.

Upcoming appointments: I have an appointment on Friday that will be my first without my husband and then on the 30th I have my anatomy scan which I am sad about because my husband won’t get to be there to see it.
How are you feeling? I am feeling a little better nausea wise but my food aversions are still killing me. Apart from that just exhausted and fighting constipation.
Raves/Rants: On the plus side I get an extra day with my husband every week for a while and night shifts have been cut so I don’t need to worry about him getting called in at all hours but on the negative side we’ll be down 20% of each of his paychecks which will be ok but won’t leave much wiggle room. We were really afraid things would be worse. It is a scary time to be a 1 income household. Trying not to stress about it for now.

How are you feeling? Pregnancy wise I’ve been good. But I started feeling crappy health wise. Today I’m kind of better than yesterday? So I have no idea what’s going on. Still had a raging headache in the morning but luckily it went away today with Tylenol.
Raves/Rants: I actually got to leave work on time today which never happens.
Questions: anyone finding out the sex at the AS? That was my original plan but it H won’t be able to be there I want to find out with him. Trying to think of the best way. We also still might do the NIPT if I have an in person appt next week and can do it. So if we do that then I’ll just have us open that together

Upcoming appointments: just had one today. Next one is the anatomy scan on 4/23.
How are you feeling? Still nauseous all the time. I finally got some zofran because I need to feel human again. Hope it helps.
Raves/Rants: I had my cervical length check and things were good. Got to see baby wiggling around and everything looked good. Due to being preterm before they normally do cervical length checks every two weeks until 24 weeks but because of COVID the doctor said I could wait until 20 weeks since things look good.
Questions: Has Anyone used a support belt with previous pregnancies and can recommend one. I’m having a ton of pelvic pain and that’s what the doctor recommended but the one I got off Amazon last time didn’t really work so looking for recommendations.
GTKY: What is something you hate that everyone else seems to love? Ranch dressing. I’m from the Midwest and it seems to be a staple that goes on everything. My daughter and husband love it. Yuck!

How are you feeling? Getting a little more anxiety coming up on the anatomy scan. The COVID is just really worrying me that my husband won’t be allowed to go. We have been super careful about social distancing.
Raves/Rants: nightmares are getting worse! Hope they pass soon.

Upcoming appointments: 4/10 for something or another, maybe the official anatomy scan but heck if I know lol, and 4/17 for a follow up genetic counsel which should include an ultrasound. I'm hoping they won't get canceled but I haven't heard that they will yet so I'm optimistic.
How are you feeling? Pretty okay for the most part, I cooked yesterday (with raw meat!!! And didn't get sick!!!), But I do still have some aversions that I'm carefully avoiding. Still somewhat uncomfortable at night trying to get to sleep, but I do have my Hiccapop pillow now, so I'll keep working with it to see how it best assists me.
Raves/Rants: Taylor Swift's "If I was a Man" and Ke$ha's "Woman" have literally opposite energies and I find that kind of amusing. On the other hand, Corona cases in Oklahoma keep steadily rising and I'm so nervous about possibly getting it but I keep going to work because I got bills. But man I hate it.

Upcoming appointments: 4/21 regular checkup and 5/15 anatomy scan. I had to go to my NT scan alone and if things don’t change by 5/15 I’ll have to do that alone too. I’m okay being alone, but very bummed my SO misses out and he is sad he doesn’t get to go too.
How are you feeling? Still pretty nauseous most of the time and major meat aversion. A few pinches of round ligament pain every now and then. Heartburn is starting now.
Raves/Rants: my elective gender scan was cancelled due to corona. We bought the sneak peek blood test instead; results should be here this week, hopefully it’s right and then we will confirm it at the anatomy scan.

Upcoming appointments: May 1 anatomy scan. I have a friend here that's also pregnant and they didn't cancel her 20 week scan as it's a necessary one...so at least I don't have to worry about that, just hoping they change their minds and say my husband can come.
How are you feeling? Much better pregnancy wise, still food aversions but I mostly can predict them so I just avoid them. Much easier staying home now, I can control what smells etc I'm exposed to for the most part.
Raves/Rants: Rave: I'm getting a definite bump which makes it so exciting! Rant: pregnancy glow sounds like a fantasy- my skin has flared up with terrible eczema and itchy rashes all over. So uncomfortable and painful despite using Collendula cream but I don't know where to go for it.

How are you feeling?
Just really anxious. This virus has sent me spiraling countless times. There are days when I just can’t shake it and I’m down for the entire day. I hate hearing that we haven’t even hit the worst of things. I’m terrified to say the least especially since DH still has to work. He’s taking all precautions possible, but still... this has to end by September. Ugh.

@readytobemama Same on the non-existent pregnancy glow. I am puffy and covered in acne (face, chest, and back) with flaring rosacea. It is not pretty.
@megsmcp Haha! That sounds like video calls with the director of my department right now. He is home alone working with a 1yo and 3yo because his wife is a physician. A little person is always in the background upset about something.

How are you feeling? Pretty great! I get migraines every now and then (got them with the others too), but other than that, great.
Raves/Rants: RAVE: Hanging out with my kids and home schooling has been surprisingly easy, and it keeps me busy and occupied enough that I don't feel like I have cabin fever. Even the days they go to their dad are fine, it's just a short break from the chaos.
RANT: My full time job has pretty absurd expectations of us under the circumstances. We're doing conference calls where they're wanting updates on our progress. We work with schools and universities! There is no progress! I am the only one with elementary school aged kids at home, so I feel like no one really gets my situation.
Questions:
GTKY: What is something you hate that everyone else seems to love? ICE CREAM. I know I'm a weirdo. It's something about the temperature/texture combo. I can do frozen yogurt and SOMETIMES gelato, if the flavor is right and I"m in a very specific mood, but regular ice cream? Blech!!

How are you feeling? Fine. Just cooped up. And also anxious about everything with COVID.
Raves/Rants: Rave: I made chicken enchiladas for dinner and they were sooo good. I’m also excited to order dinner from a steakhouse tomorrow since it’s DH and my anniversary. Rant is that I miss March madness.

How are you feeling? Ligament Pains! I think it's going to be pregnancy support band time soon
Raves/Rants: The pandemic precautions got to me yesterday when the city came and took away the swings from the little playground across the street. It had already been taped off, but this made me cry uncontrollably. We've decided to leave the city for my mom's house in the mountains on Friday. There will be more places that are safe for our 2 yo to explore, plus it's a really small private community that still have their swings I'd feel comfortable letting them use.
Questions: Have your doctors/midwives given you lifting restrictions? Mine didn't mention it, but I'm not sure what I'm supposed to be doing

@pghren Are you in Pittsburgh? Just noticing the Pgh in your name. I’m in Pittsburgh also and I totally agree how hard it is to see everything closing down. I feel so bad trying to explain to my son why we can’t go places all the time.

It’s getting very hard and I told my ob today that I’m afraid that not leaving for so long will give me fears of leaving even when they say I can, specifically to do bloodwork, my anatomy scan, and take my son to his 18mo appointment. She encouraged me to go out but to maintain social distancing and follow all protocols. Still afraid though.
