It's finally March! Lightening crotch? Full/tight belly feeling? Heartburn? Still nausea? Maybe in like a lion out like a lamb?

  • Worrying about some spotting that I had yesterday. The first wipe was like period blood then after that it was a light light pink...this morning, nothing so far... anyone else having any problems with bleeding in the second trimester?
  • I am So cold alllll the time too. I asked my doctor if it was anemia and he told me blood was fine. It could be metabolism related.
  • I’m also dealing with sciatic pain and needing to pee all the time. It makes coughing, sneezing, or laughing quite the gamble lol.
  • @kdale2613 I've been cold, too! And seemingly more so the later in the day it is? Didn't even think about it being pregnancy-related, but I guess what isn't these days.
  • @cornichonmam I'm glad I'm not the only one, but jeez is it annoying.  Perhaps its a blessing in disguise bc I haven't really been able to smell all the things... just randomly here and there.  I did read last night that the stuffiness could get worse in second tri... ugh.

@emiliadkay Jeez, that's scary.  Try to take it easy and let yourself rest in between tasks.  If I do too much running around without sitting I get super nauseous.  Also, I made breakfast tacos for dinner last night hahahaha... I added a pepper this time.  What is your go-to recipe?

@kdale2613  Add me to the list of freezing all the time!!  To be fair I was always cold pre-pg, but now it seems extreme.  It's been happening since the beginning and I read that it could be from a slightly increased body temperature which causes your surroundings to feel colder than usual.

  • The back pain, ugh, it's too early for this!!! I've got an anterior placenta and my doctor said that may be why I'm having more back pain than with the other two. It sucks!

Still exhausted and suffering from off and on insomnia.

Plus the heartburn, but I'm not sure if that's from the baby or me just getting old LOL
  • @emiliadkay It might be low blood pressure. I had it from around this time in my last pregnancy and it's common in the 2nd trimester. I've had a few episodes so far this time too, which isn't surprising as I had my BP taken at my appointment today and it's already gone down a bit. Look after yourself, I fond that drinking a lot of water and keeping cool helped to keep it stable.
  • Itching! I've never been at itchy person but man it's annoying.  Restless, feeling like I need to get up and DO stuff.
  • The lightening crotch is REAL. I'm hoping it means good growth is happening and what not but OUCH. I've been keeping myself hydrated and trying to keep moving around but the sudden sprints of pain running up my crotch is killing me here!

  • This is an odd one but I have tinnitus and I’m convinced it’s pregnancy related. I can hear my own heartbeat in my left eat, esp when I move around too much, climb stairs, get anxious or exercise. My ears have also been been getting blocked frequently making me hear my own inner sounds (breathing, swallowing, voice etc) super loud. It’s driving me crazy! So far I’ve read that this could last all pregnancy, but will be seeing an ENT specialist soon to find out more....also, unrelated, but I feel my heartbeat in my belly when I place my hand there. No movements yet though 😔
  • anyone else still puking? With my first I didn’t puke but had a lot of nausea that was gone by 17 weeks or so. With this one I’m almost 18 weeks and it’s not getting better.
  • @emiliadkay This happened to me a bunch last month, I was worried I couldn’t take a real hot shower anymore. But I’ve found that making sure I’ve eaten beforehand does the trick - I used to just drink some coffee and hop in the shower. Hopefully that helps if you find it’s a recurring problem!
  • @rainbow_baby9 I definitely am having the same thing! I can hear my heart beat in my left ear and I can feel it on my belly too. I honestly thought it was just me stressing about work!
  • Omg @maggied26 so glad I found u, really thought I was alone in this! Such a frustrating thing. Hope it goes away soon for both of us!
  • @rainbow_baby9 & @maggied26 I am in the same boat with the hearing myself in my ears. In the past for me it's meant I was dehydrated but I drink water like a fish all day. It's been really bad to the point I just dont want to talk or I constantly trying to get my ears to pop (which makes it worse or causes a headache) since I can hear my breathing all day long. I totally forgot to mention it to my ob when I was there monday.
  • @RedBaramid ugh I am with you, sister. Its been awful for me! Pregnancy glow? whats that?
  • @RedBaramid This is the first pregnancy that my skin has actually been in better shape. Usually, it just makes my already temperamental skin break out beyond recognition. Unfortunately, even the best skincare routines don't always trump raging hormones. I'm sorry you're dealing with this! Hopefully you find something that helps calm things down!
  • @RedBaramid & @maelove add me to the group! I very rarely deal with acne, maybe a zit here and there. But now my face is red and patchy and has multiple zits all over. Trying to up my water intake to help?
I just want to feel pretty!!
  • @mrswheeler812 Yes, my hips and back hurt so bad and are stiff all the time. I don't do heavy lifting at work and have mostly a desk-job. If I fall asleep on the couch or don't sleep it a pillow between my legs, I have major regret. I think I've said it previously too that I don't remember hurting this early last time I was PG.
