@hbird0723 I believe that, often, what insurance is charged is more than what people are charged for private pay services. So, I wonder if you wouldn’t have to pay that much if your insurance flat out denies it
Coworker says “I leave work for a couple months and come back and you’re pregnant” yep That’s kind of how it happens (overly annoying) Debbie. “You’re still so early!” Shut up Debbie. almost halfway there I don’t consider early. And it’s been a long battle already.
My other coworker Told me my snark has been showing (I’m generally overly quiet and reserved). But that it’s okay cause I’m pregnant. Apparently Pregnant Jenn generally give no effs about anything. ✌🏼 (Especially if you’re saying dumb things)
@blaf322 that is good to know! Someone did tell me they were charged $2,000 and when they called the company they cut it to 200 but where is almost $12,000 coming from. It’s so weird to me and I’d be raising and eye about it too if I were the insurance company.
@nursejenn5 halfway there is not early...I feel like this time is dragging on so I’m excited to be almost halfway there. Also, when I’m pregnant a lot of people irritate me and seem like idiots 😂 I’m usually pretty quiet as well but now I feel like I say something a lot more than I would but if someone points it out... not cool lol
Will someone please post randoms and weekly check in for me tomorrow? We’re still in Vegas and I probably won’t be around much tomorrow. I can post the product spotlight when I’m back in office on Wednesday, but if someone wants to before then, feel free!
In other news, I have an 80 min prenatal massage scheduled for tomorrow morning 🙌 and I’m reeeally hoping it helps the swelling in my ankles go down! Traveling always does this to me and it’s especially bad while pregnant.
@hbird0723 I agree, I would try to see if you can pay our of pocket for the tests instead of through insurance. It's usually very steeply discounted that way (like a few hundred tops). Good luck! I'm sure it's stressful just seeing those numbers!
@nursejenn5 pregnancy also makes me a lot snippier too. And you're right, you're not "early" at this point!
@nursejenn5 I had someone say the same thing about me when they found out I was pregnant. Apparently I was snippier than normal and "they just knew it". I was so annoyed lol.
