Oooh I have one today. I totally did my nails at school today. I had an hour before my first class and put on Valentine's nails instead of doing something more productive.

I'll think of something juicier than this later, but I don't think I like Valentine's Day overall because I feel like it makes a lot of people feel bad! It felt more important to me when I was single and dreading it every year. But I guess I do use the day to be grateful for SO and our relationship.

I’ve been with MH for over 10 years and if he buys me flowers it’s always a single red rose or a bouquet of red roses and I’ve never had the heart to tell him I’m not a huge fan of roses. I love bouquets with all different kinds of flowers and definitely more than red colored flowers. It would probably be cheaper too since roses are a bit pricey. Anyways, this morning I received two red roses for v-day. 🤐 I love the thought behind it, so I’m not sure if I’ll ever tell him.

@whitealbum29 I totally get that. I actually feel like it’s way more of a mean holiday for kids and teens. Like I definitely feel that at certain ages it’s a popularity/who’s got a BF contest. I definitely like the holiday more as an adult since I feel like there’s less judgement attached to the day.

I just stumbled upon one of those "inspirational" articles about a woman who went rogue on her medicated cycle (IUI was cancelled because of too many follies, she had TI anyway) and ended up with quadruplets. At the end she tells women struggling with IF to "stay patient, your time will come, it just may not be how you pictured it." This is my actual face right now.
