@LoweeeK How was your lining check? Hopefully you get to transfer this week!! @vanessa_lynne How is the two week wait? Are you going to test early, or wait for beta?
AFM, STILL waiting! Ugh! I was sick for a week right before ovulation, which I think pushed everything back. I am now two weeks late and feeling frustrated. I really want to get started and move forward.
Has anyone else had a strange period the following cycle after a failed FET? I went off meds in early January, following my failed FET...got the usual cycle a few days later after stopping meds. This is my first cycle since then, but it's not the norm...very dark in color, light flow, then medium flow, then light flow. Anyone else had a funky cycle after?
I am set to go!! Transfer this Thursday! My RE had me start on Prometrium this past Saturday....I feel like so much of leaks out and I need a liner. Anyone else? or any tricks for this?
July - September 2016 - 3 negative IUIs
December 2016 IVF cycle - 12 retrieved, 5 fertilized, 2 frozen, 1 transferred August 2017 - baby boy September 2019 - FET cancelled due to thin lining (tried pills) November 2019 - FET cancelled due to thin lining (tried patches) February 2020 - FET February 6, EDD 10/25/2020
@vetgirl2011 also fx you get to start soon. I understand the frustration of waiting.
2WW is ok. Had our transfer on Saturday and all went well. On day 2 of bed rest which has been lovely. It's my 3rd transfer, so patience isn't exactly one of my qualities - I'll definitely be testing by the weekend. PG test on Feb 11 🤞.
@LoweeeK During my last FET, I had a lot of leakage. One of the nurses warned me that I would need a liner while on the prometrium.
@vanessa_lynne I’m glad transfer went smoothly! Waiting is the worst! So far, I haven’t had the patience to wait until beta.
@covergirl2985 After my first FET, I had a much lighter period. This time, my cycle never wants to end. I think it takes a while for our hormones to go back to normal.
@vanessa_lynne I'm so glad everything went well! I always test early too. There's no way I have the patience to wait for the beta and I'd rather be able to prepare myself emotionally.
@LoweeeK I think the leakage is inevitable. Last time I remember using liners pretty much my entire first trimester until I was allowed to stop taking the prometrium.
@vetgirl2011@caitb13@vanessa_lynne thank you for your responses...makes me feel better! It makes me a little nervous when I see the leaking on my liner and I get worried that nothing is being absorbed...but I know they monitor blood work and hormone levels for a reason and will adjust if needed!

@LoweeeK Glad everything went well for your transfer! How are you holding in there? Are you testing early?
@vetgirl2011, yes beta is tomorrow morning. I tested Friday and yesterday. 2/2 BFPs! As this was my third transfer after 2 failed attempts, I'm pretty stoked to hopefully get great results tomorrow. Congrats on starting your cycle! FX for you that everything goes well.
@vetgirl2011 meds are going better now. I had a reaction to the generic patch so had to get the name brand patches (witch insurance doesn’t cover). Lining check is 2/18! So excited that it’s around the corner!
@vetgirl2011 I can't decide yet if I will test early. I am driving myself crazy knowing that I have to wait another week! My office seems to be terrible at timely calls after bloodwork, etc...many times I have not received a call until 5 or 6PM. Knowing that it could be an all day wait kind of makes me want to test early!

It's been a bit of a roller coaster since yesterday. I had a bit of bleeding yesterday at lunch that wasn't "spotting" as I'd imagined it. It was red, maybe a 1/4 of a pad's worth, and eventually went to brown a couple hours later. So I was freaking out a little, and had to keep my cool and stay at work as I'm on an interview panel this week. Nothing after dinner yesterday. No true 'cramping', just the constant dull achy feeling that I feel might be related to the Endometrin suppositories. I had my beta this morning. Good news, as it's at 237 which is a good number. I go again on Thursday. Hoping it doubles by then! Thank you for your positive thoughts, and I am sending mine to all of you as well.
@vanessa_lynne That’s a great beta! I’m sorry about the bleeding. That is always so scary, but I hear that it is pretty common. I’ll be think of you on Thursday!
@LoweeeK I would be so stressed if I had to wait all day for results! I can definitely understand wanting to test early. I hope this week flies by for you.
@Bharvey10 Insurance can be so frustrating to deal with. I haven’t had any experience with the patches, as I’ve always had the injections instead. Hopefully the name brand ones work much better for you!
I got the go ahead to start my meds. My mid cycle scan will be on the 24th. Hopefully everything will look good and I’ll have my FET on the 28th or 29th.
@Bharvey10 Oh no! It completely sucks that the new patches didn’t work either! Surely the pills will be better. I’m so happy that we will be transfer buddies!!!
I just posted a reintroduction, because I used to be all about these boards 3+ years ago!
***TW**** I have a 2 year old daughter after failed FET, who was spontaneously conceived****
So the FET I had yesterday is my second FET ever, and I am hoping for my very first successful one. It had been more than 3 years since I had a transfer, and they did change the protocol on me. I took femara + trigger shot, then started progesterone and transferred yesterday.
Anyone else here transfer on Feb 10?

@vetgirl2011 I'm going in tomorrow for my lining check. Last month it was too thin so I'm hoping things went better this time around.
@Bharvey10 I'm glad the meds are going better for you.
@vanessa_lynne that's a great beta! Bleeding is so scary, but it is normal. I had quite a bit of bleeding at the beginning of my pregnancy with my daughter and she turns two this weekend!
My 3 embryos have been moved to our new clinic and have my baseline scheduled for 2/14. Tentatively, I'm scheduled on 3/3 for transfer. They will put in 2 embryos. Fingers crossed it all works out!
Well, it looks like I've been benched again. This time my lining is nice and thick but it doesn't have the tri layer pattern. Our doctor gave us the option to transfer anyway, but I was able to dig up some stats and it just doesn't seem like the thing to do. I've still got my fingers crossed that this is the month for you ladies!
@covergirl2985 This is my 3rd time too! Hopefully the third time is lucky! My nurse called today to tell me she tentatively scheduled me for an FET on March 2nd, so it sounds like our schedules are similar.
@caitb13 sorry to hear your lining isn't optimal this month. Best of luck on your next cycle. Have faith! Thinking of you.
@omarismyhomeboy welcome to the group! FX for you on this transfer.
@LoweeeK Any early testing? Thinking about you - how are you hanging in there? I had my first positive HPT at 6DPT.
Had beta 2 this morning... Waiting anxiously for results. Tuesday it only took a couple hours to find out, and it's been 4 hours already... I'm not so good with patience.
@vanessa_lynne I hope you get a call soon! I haven't tested yet, although I did buy some HPTs yesterday. I'm too chicken to do it! I have zero symptoms although I know it's so early. I didn't have any symptoms until about 10 days after my beta with my son. All of a sudden, my blood test on Tuesday doesn't feel that far away

@omarismyhomeboy I gave in....my transfer was exactly a week ago and I see a faint positive! Hopeful but cautious at this point I guess....I have one more test so will likely wait to test again until the weekend and beta is Tuesday! You will start to test soon! Glad I didn't before today because it may have shown BFN.

@LoweeeK Glad you gave in; it was worth it! Congrats and keep us posted on Tuesday's results
I got the call in the afternoon yesterday. HCG at 673, which has more than doubled since Tuesday! US on Feb 25th! Still seems unreal to me, after 2 failed attempts.
Funny story: our RE that completed this past transfer is named Dr Gunn. She was amazing, and I hadn't met her before our transfer. Well, DH joked that if we got pregnant this time, we'd send her a card that said, "Nice shot, Dr Gunn". lol
If all goes well, only 20 more PIO needles to go. I put them on my calendar to count them down. Can't wait!
@vanessa_lynne those are amazing Beta numbers!! Congrats! The card idea is genius! How long do you need to do PIO? I did 10 weeks, but with only 20 to go, it sounds that your protocol is shorter. My new clinic said that they do 12 weeks

well I tested with FRER this morning...6dp5dt. Stark white- I’ve dug it out of the trash and looked at it like 5 more times to “just be sure!” Ugh. My beta is in 3 days but I’ve been here before. Honestly it’s weird having this disappointment again after a 3.5 year break.
I hope I will he cyst-free and can try again in March.
