@lachnessmomster it seriously helps to wear the littlest one! Then you *only* have to keep your eyes on two! More than that and it is really just a survival thing. I use rewards. I have also left a full shopping cart when it was more important to abort the mission than make it to the check-out. Pro tip: Put your reuasable shopping bag under the cart or find a produce box and load it with the breakables (when it is thrown, think peanut butter jars, spaghetti sauce...) and squashables (bread, bananas, when sat on).
@roo_baby aw man hope you feel better soon! The point of puking is definitely where I would want it gone, I seriously cant imagine 😫extreme nausea to me is like literally worse than pain
@jojokoodles I had horrendous nausea with DD and SOMEHOW still gained 10 lbs in the first trimester (and 50 total, woot). It felt like such a rip-off!
I guess that's my UO; if you told me I would gain 25 lbs by next week but I would stop being nauseous and having aversions for the remainder of the pregnancy I would do it! I have pretty high pain tolerance in general but I am a total wimp when it comes to nausea.
@5unflowr22 These are such brilliant hacks. I actually do wear my babies for as long as possible, but DD is at the age where she likes to be out and looking around. She tends to put up a struggle and get frustrated in the carrier unless we're out on a hike or something. Love hiding the breakables! Takes me back to the time DS busted a bottle of hot sauce on the floor at Kroger. Also, I would never abandon the cart, because once that thing is loaded down, I have already committed, and we are checking out come hell or high water. Lolol.
@samsonator i wouldn't worry about that. Myndaughter was born august 30th. I was due sept 15th. I think cut off for my kids district is sept 12th.
My kid did totally great and no one realized she was younger because she was larger than the kids in her class. She was always the tallest up untilba few years ago. If your kid is born before the cut off it really isn't so bad. I always loved it. I have a nephew born August 29th 2 years and 1 day before my kid and he also went early and is bigger than everyone in his grade.
You also don't have to start them then. You have the option to wait one more year if you want because of when their birthday is.
