  • @anxiouswife do you mean NT scan? I thought that the A/S was not until at least 18 weeks?

  • @duck_duck_goose Thanks! I can't imagine dealing with all those smells... :s Here's to hoping your super-scent goes away soon (and also your son's indoor pool obsession!). Now I feel like a wimp for complaining that a substitute who notoriously smells like cat pee was teaching next door to me today.

@ziggymama06 I'm glad your pupper is feeling better! You still get a star for doing your laundry lol... now just move it to hubs' side.  :D  Today I ate my breakfast, lunch, and a snack two periods before my actual lunch :worried:

@babytimeagain So glad your last ultrasound went reassuringly! And I know what you mean-- it's hard to be in the mood right now. You know those little gambling machines with the three fruit pieces? That's my body, but instead it's like *spiiiiiiinnnn--NAUSEA!* *spiiiiiiinnnnn--IMPENDING VOMIT?!* *spppiiiiinnnn--YOU HAVE TO POOP BUT ALSO YOU CAN'T LOL!*

@anxiouswife Yay for a good appointment!

@emiliadkay That's what I'm hoping too! But you're right; starting it is the hardest part. I also do better with a work out buddy, but hubs injured himself on vacation, so he's a little indisposed. I guess I need to just pick one of these days where my symptoms are treating me better and go for it.

  • @gomillis Oh no. Salmon and broccoli are such strong smells. That must have been so rough! I also usually like salmon, but it was actually one of the very first foods I developed a consistent aversion to (like week 3 or 4) long before I experienced any other cravings/aversions/nausea. Sorry you had to excuse yourself from dinner :/ Getting meals with people is so tricky when you feel sick (even trickier for the ones you aren't ready to share the news with). Cheerios have been my dinner several nights this week too!

  • @gomillis I use to love broccoli. I had it earlier in this pregnancy and was fine. I made it the other day and just threw it out. The smell is something else nowadays.

@gomillis Go you working out so frequently still!!  I've been too tired to move lol...  Sorry you weren't able to eat with your fam, that is rough.  I'm having salmon and broccoli for dinner tonight!  I hope the smells are okay for me.  I haven't really had any aversions yet (knock on wood), and my nose is still so stuffed up that I haven't had a strong sense of smell yet.  Enjoy the cuddles from YS.

@faith_2911 I think I should hand back the gold star bc hubs does the laundry!!   :D  He works from home so he does it during the day.  I know, I'm lucky!  I do have my separate hamper of articles he's not allowed to touch bc they don't go in the dryer... and that is beginning to overflow, lol.  Eat it while you can.  I pigged out yesterday too... I just had to eat every few hours or sooner.  I ate a banana at 11:15am and not even 30 minutes later it was like I hadn't eaten anything!!

@roo_baby I'm sorry you're feeling so awful and I hope that let's up soon!  Enjoy the snuggles  <3   I'm using a few apps now... Bump, What to Expect, and Baby Center.  I may eliminate one in a few weeks.

  • @blackgirlmagic Yes, I am having my NT scan then too, but my nurse practitioner called my 12 week scan the anatomy scan. So, I honestly have no idea. 😂
  • I really need the bump to add some emoji's like facebook. I feel like the "love it" button doesn't do my reaction justice.

  • @lachnessmomster yeah we get tantrums when the screen time goes away too, or when she wants it and we refuse. But I’m all about survival right now. And I don’t think I could survive without it. I think it’s fair to discuss with your husband reintroducing in discreet amounts like “while I make lunch you can watch one episode” or “on Saturday mornings only you can watch an hour of tv while I go back to sleep”.
