After 27 hours of labor (including poop, blood, and vomit), MH walked around the wrong side of the c-section curtain and got to see my insides "all over the place." Good thing he's indifferent to bodily fluids and gore. 😆

My old coworker watched his daughter born via c-section and he would always say “They literally removed all her organs to get DD out. And then just sewed her back up like nothing happened!” 😂

@ruby696 I want a clear drape too. MH can't handle gore at all though. Like @pirateduck 's H he asked can he not be in the OR and I told him if he's not there to see the baby be born he doesn't have a baby and we will go else where after she comes home. He is older (43 when DD was born) and asked in our birth class instructor why we didn't see the Dr. in the video slap the baby on the butt to make it cry. He also thought the baby would be in a nursery behind glass for him to go see and didn't have to be at the birth. I did make him go to the other side of the drape to announce the sex while they let the cord stop pulsing which he didn't want to do at all, but this old male nurse made him. That same nurse also made him cut the cord, it's a father's duty, and clean the pump parts after I used them every day in the hospital. I loved that nurse he was awesome, I wanted to take him home with me because he was able to get baby to latch so effortlessly and I just couldn't.
