Diagnosis (if you've been): RPL, Autoimmune mysteries, blood-clotting disorders + AMA and DOR but I say these last two don’t count🙂
Status (WTO/TWW/TTA): TWW
What are you doing this cycle?(Testing? Treatment?): Getting my first beta drawn in the morning! (Tuesday) It won’t tell me much because my protocol this cycle was an hCG infusion into the uterus before IUI, followed by hCG shots every 3 days. So I’m sure that’s still in my system. The next two betas will be the clinchers. They’ll all be drawn 3 days apart so I may not know till a week from now.😬 Longest 3-week “TWW” ever! Also doing progesterone in oil, Lovenox, and estradiol in the TWW.
How are things going?: Well, now that I’m in my own bed. I had a hellish week of work on the road, then squeezing in lots of shots at night in a hotel room was lonely, but I listened to my meditations while doing the shots & kept saying “This is for a baby, this is for a baby”.♥️
Any questions?: Not really. I’ve just been very curious if anyone has done or heard of this hCG protocol I tried this time... @emmasemm?
GTKY: $1000 shopping spree, what store would you pick? Like so many of you, I’m a bargain shopper. So probably TJ Maxx—lord knows I give them too much of my money as it is.
@kpearse99 I just want to give you a hug! I’m sorry it’s been rough. Of course that’s natural, but it’s still hard. I really encourage you to do the progesterone in all its forms next IUI. It could make all the difference and it can’t hurt anything. If you’ve only got 2 IUIs left you may as well throw everything at it. Uterine lining should be anywhere from 8-14mm for optimal chance of implantation. Progesterone will help it get there. And yes, the uterine lining does stop growing at some point ( not sure exactly when) so you want to try to get it thicker sooner.
@misshelen86 Thank you for that podcast link! And best of luck w the appointment Monday. Take a notebook to minimize the overwhelm. (Doctors always go slower for me when they see I’m writing down all their comments.)
@mama_mea So glad to see you jumped right in here after your weekend intro, and hooray for stable TSH levels! A garden oasis sounds amazing, good choice with the $1000.
@inthewoods23 I’m excited for you to move into your mock transfer. Biopsy is my next step if this TWW is a bust. I don’t believe there’s anything but numbing agent. Hope your calendar arrives ASAP!
@emeraldduchess Sorry the progesterone is making you itch! Can you ask your doc for a different formulation? And GREAT follie size, perfect! Hope your TWW flies by!
@mvt2003 Good luck with FW and congrats on DH’s numbers improving! It’s exciting you could see a change in such a short amount of time.
@bows22 I’m sorry for the vagueness of the med professionals not rally letting you know what’s going on and then making you nervous by giving each other looks. That's the worst! I pray all is well at your follow-up. Write down your very direct questions beforehand and don’t be afraid to ask them. I’d actually ask: “I noticed the techs were having a hard time & giving each other looks—what was that about?”
@ellieemc26 Good luck with the IUI. Try your best to do positive self-talk! Mental approach is a big part of this TTC battle.
@kiki047 Soooo hoping you’re that gorgeous unicorn who gets KU natural cycle before all the IVF stuff begins. $8000 available on a credit card?! Gulp! Praying for good results before you drop that cash!🤞🏽
@shoogapoff Good luck until Friday’s beta. Positive thoughts, friend!
@NYTino24 Hope the progesterone numbers look reassuring in the morning!
@kpearse99 so many hugs, friend. 💚 @keikilove FX SO HARD for all those betas! 💜 @shoogapoff my betas are on Monday 11/25. I am going to test at home, though. I don't want to have to get bad news at work. I hope the time until your betas on Friday flies by! @bows22 I am so sorry that your procedure was so nerve-wracking. I hope that they give you some thorough answers. 💙
@inthewoods23 I had an endometrial biopsy done. Idk if they will just do it for the mock transfer for you, which would be ideal if you’re being put under. I was not put under and they don’t use any numbing agents. Not that you want to hear it but it was the most unpleasant part of any testing I got done and I may have swore a time or two while she was doing it. My dr said some people have no issue with it so hopefully you’re one of those people. Good luck!
@keikilove oh no not a 3 week wait! So beta today and then again on Friday? Can’t wait to see your results❤️
AFM the RE’s office sent me a message yesterday saying that they want to schedule an HSG since my tubes wouldn’t cooperate and do my follow up after. I wrote back that I’d like to discuss where we are at so far and also get on the surgery schedule so we will see what they say.
@misshelen86 Sorry that you are feeling overwhelmed. We will be thinking of you. Try and take notes, or maybe even ask the doc if they would be ok with you recording the consult? Ask all the questions.
@inthewoods23 Right?! The holidays definitely add to the obstacles with this process. Woohoo, hope the calendar arrives soon.
@emeraldduchess I hate the progesterone too. So messy and gross. FX for you!
@mvt2003 That is a great increase in numbers on YH's SA. Too bad about the morph, although 3% is still decent. Will they do another one?
@ellieemc26 It is tough to stay balanced, meditation helps. And sometimes you just have to let it go and feel all the feelings. We can only control so much. GL!
@kiki047 I had that same little freak out before I started on nasal spray (what if just maybe this was that one time things worked on their own??) If you are worried then POAS. What can it hurt? If nothing else it gives you peace of mind. It is such a lot of money to hand over at once. Ours was around $9.
@bows22 Oh the vague comments and feedback. Ugh, that is annoying. I hope that your follow up is soon so that you can get some answers on all of that asap.
@kpearse99 I hear you! I gave up tracking everything except AF as well. Too much to keep putting all that info in all the time and too much strain on the mental state too. I am sorry that you had a rough weekend. Be kind to your heart, take it easy. I also have super light and short periods as well. Normally start light, have two good days, then spot for two (maybe). My RE doesn't seem concerned about that either.
@keikilove Ooh I am excited for this new protocol that you are trying out this cycle. I really hope that it works for you! TWW is long enough, so having three...... But you got this.
Hope everyone had a great Remembrance day yesterday. Thank you to all that serve and for the family and loved ones that serve too
What are you doing this cycle? (Testing? Treatment?): IVF
How are things going?: Things are good. Still rolling on the nasal spray for down reg. Go in on Thursday for my check up and blood work before starting shots. Have to drag MH in there for his refresher Let's get this party started!
Any questions?:
GTKY: You've won a $1000 shopping spree at the store of your choice. What store would you pick? Depends on the day. HomeDepot or just give me all the Amazon.
@misshelen86 – Thanks for the podcast recommendation!
@mama_mea – Hope your numbers come back better this time
around!
@inthewoods23 – Yay! Excited that your next cycle is finally
around the corner!
@emeraldd – Ughh I’m hating the progesterone too… I’m
literally changing my pantyliner once an hour so that I’ll stay dry down there.
Idk what I’d rather this or a needle everyday to the butt haha
@mvt2003 – I’m so glad you were able to get that timing
worked out!
@kiki047 – Can you ask for a blood test prior to purchasing
the meds? Only Gonal-F has to be refrigerated out of those two (but take it out
for 30 mins and let it get to room temp before injecting). If you have
cetrotide (med to keep you from ovulating too early) then that also needs to be
refrigerated.
@bows22 – Ughh that’s so frustrating. When is your follow up
appointment?
@kpearse99 – So sorry that your back in WTO, ttc is such a
physically and emotionally trying process. I also have super short periods. One
day of bleeding (maybe fill half of my diva cup) and then 2-3 days of spotting
afterwards. I also keep asking my RE about it and he’s not concerned.
@keikilove – Wow you did you PIO shots all by yourself? I’ve
heard those are the scariest ones! You go girlfriend!!
What are you doing this cycle? (Testing? Treatment?): First IVF cycle
How are things going?: Good, I was staying pretty positive last week, but now the doubt and anxiety is creeping in. Beta is on Friday, but my LP isn't generally that long, so we'll see (I know the progesterone can effect your LP though). DH is trying to keep me positive and happy, so he said we could put up the Christmas decorations this weekend (he's always been a hard no on decorations before thanksgiving). I decided to wait till this coming weekend because I figured I may need something to cheer me up.
Any questions?: If this cycle doesn't work, how long is it until the next transfer? Does it vary from person to person? Like is embryo transfer something you can try once a month?
GTKY: You've won a $1000 shopping spree at the store of your choice. What store would you pick? Probably Nordstrom, because I could buy clothes, shoes, home stuff and skincare/makeup!
@keikilove thinking of you today, my dear friend!! And thank you for the advice and words of kindness. I really do think I'll be trying the progesterone this time around. I am happy you are back in your own bed and that your crazy travel week is done. I have to admit when I read your comment about doing shots alone in your room I totally intially thought of this...
@nitnat007 I am so ready for your "party" to begin!!! I think it's a good idea YH goes with you too as a refresher, I would want the same thing if it were me!
@feather_heather I so want this for you, so badly!!!! I really really hope this is the one for you. YH is so sweet for trying to keep you upbeat and positive. It's already Tuesday so I hope the rest of the week goes by quickly for you. Are you holding strong to waiting for the beta on Friday? Your periods sound like mine, except I spot for a day or two before the one day of bleeding. I'm trying to decide if it's worth bringing up again to my RE or not.

@kpearse99 - You are the sweetest! I don't know, I keep flip flopping between wanting to just wait for my beta and wanting to POAS friday morning (so I'm not finding out via a phone call at work). We'll see how I feel later this week!
@feather_heather I think it's really going to depend on the clinic how soon you'd do your next transfer should this one fail. My clinic always has me on at least 18 days of BC before starting lupron. Also with my failed FET I'm now waiting months for the next one because we're trying to find out why it failed (as my RE said "you should be pregnant"). Some clinics may not even do extra testing and start right up again at the next cycle.

@nitnat007 +1 for being excited for your party to begin!
@feather_heather oh my gosh Friday!! I can’t wait! That’s sweet of YH to concede on the Christmas decorations but I hope you have no reason to need to be cheered up this weekend!
I heard back from my RE - she said that I can keep my follow up appointment (her last message wanted to push it to after the HSG). But she wants to wait until after the HSG to schedule surgery because if there are issues with my tubes they would want to know that prior to surgery. But if I’m going to do the HSG next cycle and they are already scheduling surgery into January, I think they will still have plenty of time to know, so I’m going to push back slightly on that. But I’m feeling a lot better that I get to keep my follow up appointment and hopefully get some clarity.
@bows22 So glad you get to keep the appointment! Hoping you get some answers!!
@feather_heather I'm keeping everything crossed for this for you!!! And you know I'm with you on the early decorating. My tree went up the afternoon of our first Reproductive Urology appointment, we both needed a boost. It's not fluffed or decorated yet, but it's lit and that does wonders for my morale sometimes.
@nitnat007 Sooo ready for you to get the party started!!!! I assume we'll do another SA at some point down the line, but the PA called MH last night to say that the RU wants his BW and ultrasound done as quickly as possible, since the results of the SA were very similar to the last one (when we're still under 10 million, we're still out of the running for IUI anyway, so as you've said let's get the party started!)
@keikilove Uggh I hate that it's a three week wait for you, keeping everything possible crossed!!!

What are you doing this cycle? (Testing? Treatment?): Letrozole (5mg), TI, and Progesterone after O.
How are things going?: Going pretty well...in the hopeful stage of WTO after the disappointment from last cycle has subsided a bit! I’m adding in OPK’s this cycle, so hopefully confusion about O and when to start progesterone won’t be an issue again!
Any questions?: None right now.
GTKY: You've won a $1000 shopping spree at the store of your choice. What store would you pick? I’d say a furniture store...we just got new living room furniture (being delivered this Friday 🤗), and I’m itching to finish our bedroom with a new dresser, chest, and nightstands instead of the hodge podge that we have...but furniture is expensive!
@misshelen86 I’m glad your week should fly by! Enjoy girls night!! Hope you aren’t too overwhelmed at your RE appt on Monday, and you feel comfortable with the plan going forward!
@mama_mea glad your TSH levels came back good and the medicine is working!
@inthewoods23 so sorry you have to wait so long for your transfer cycle, but hopefully you get your calendar soon! I’m sure that helps to know exactly what is happening and when!
@emeraldduches I’m glad you are doing well...I agree though, the first week of the TWW is much easier than the second! Sorry for the progesterone side-effect...that sounds quite terrible! Hope that gets better soon...and I have everything crossed this is your cycle!
@mvt2003 yay for SA not affecting timing this cycle!! Hope YH’s BW yesterday and US tomorrow lead to good results!
@ellieemc26 hope the Clomid side-effects subside soon!
@kiki047 yay for skipping right to 11DPO without realizing it! Hope you get awesome news before your appt on Thursday and that CC swipe won’t be needed!!
@shoogapoff everything crossed you get the most amazing news on Friday!!
@bows22 that stinks they were so vague with you during the SHG! I’m glad you were at least able to keep your follow-up appt...hope you can get the surgery pushed up as well!
@kpearse99 I think not tracking anything but the essentials sounds like a good plan...like it’s been said, once you understand your cycle pretty well, it doesn’t lend much other than making you crazy with all the “symptoms” that could mean either! As far as your period question goes...I usually spot before AF (until this cycle with the progesterone when AF just started 3 days after stopping it) for a day or so, and it starts brown usually. My periods are usually only a few days (fairly light), and then a few days of spotting after. My RE also says that progesterone blood tests aren’t super accurate, so I think that’s a big reason he supplements!
@keikilove everything crossed for you during this three-week TWW!! 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻
@nitnat007 hope you have a good appt on Thursday and get the go-ahead to start shots!
@feather_heather everything crossed for you on Friday!! I hope you get to celebrate by decorating this weekend!!
What are you doing this cycle? (Testing? Treatment?): Progesterone, Estradiol & baby Aspirin
How are things going?: Transfer was today. Sorry I didn't get back to check in with everyone over the weekend. The new drugs are affecting me more than the hormones were. So as a recap, we had 15 eggs, 13 fertilized, 12 were dividing correctly and 7 were ready for transfer day. The fertility team were really positive with some weird things today. Their rating system for embryos is 1 to 6 and A to D. The majority of our 7 were 4AA with 1AA and a 3AB, I think. They were so impressed. They never see 5 and 6 rated embryos so to have mostly 4AAs was huge in their world. I was also complimented on my uterine lining and my full bladder. Not gonna lie, I'm having a weird, but pleasant, day. Betas are on November 26th.
Any questions?: How do I keep from POAS?
GTKY: You've won a $1000 shopping spree at the store of your choice. What store would you pick? I really need some new clothing so Reitmans, but I also love redecorating so maybe Ikea or Kent?
@misshelen86 Fx for the meeting next week. I hope you burn off all your stress this weekend!
@inthewoods23 Risks of complication can increase if they fully put you under, but they may use a local anesthetic. Wishing time to pass for you!
@emeraldduchess And I say again 'Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!' We can be BSC together!
@mvt2003 That is excellent news about the SA and timing
@ellieemc26 The eternal questions: how do I keep from going crazy? If you figure out the answer, there are many ladies here who want to know! Hoping the side effects stay mild/disappear.
@kiki047 Never a bad idea to POAS in this case if it can save you that kind of money. It will all be okay though. Deep breaths. We are here for you.
@kpearse99 I am sorry. I saw your post on last week's thread and hoped it was just a weird bodily thing. I'm sorry this process has so many sucky moments, but I'm glad you are back on the horse this week.
@bows22 Love the sideways glances in an area like this. Geez I would have been ticked. Remember that we tend to make things bigger in our own heads when we only have part of the info. The techs just aren't allowed to say much. Here come the calming vibes.
@bluetickgal so glad you're in the hopeful stage!!! This roller coaster we are all on is rough, man!!

@bluetickgal I really hope the OPKs help you continue to feel hopeful & happy about this cycle! And YES to your furniture spree—we need new bedroom stuff too. Enjoy your goodies when they arrive this Friday!
@meri-mac@bows22 Yep, betas today, Friday, and next Monday. Today’s is the baseline: it will be a false positive because it’s the hCG shot still in my system from 3 days ago. Friday’s beta may go up or down. If it goes down we won’t know if it’s because the hCG shot has faded out & my body is still making some on its own, or if the hCG is just taking awhile to fade without my body making any. So next Monday’s beta is the real determinant of whether this protocol worked! (*Bites nails after typing*)
@kpearse99 That was hilarious that you thought I was doing alcoholic shots alone in my hotel room!😆 If this cycle is a bust that may just be me...
@feather_heather So excited for you! And yes, I now do my PIO shots myself. I was absolutely terrified the first time I had to do them myself on the road, but some badass ladies on here convinced me that I’m a badass too & walked me through how to do it on my own. So grateful for that! (I have a hilarious FFFC regarding these injections that I’m saving for this Friday. Get ready to laugh while I die of embarrassment!)
What are you doing this cycle? (Testing? Treatment?): Unmedicated IUI
How are things going?: Going well! The 3 day mini vacation really helps with the TWW anxiety. First local RE appointment is next week, wish me luck 💪
Any questions?: is HIO during the so called “implantation period” 5dpo to 10dpo not good for implantation? Dr.Google showed some research results saying so, but my OB says there is no adverse impact.
GTKY: man, I don’t know... I will probably pick Sephora?
@bluetickgal I’m glad you are back to the hopeful stage! I think OPKs are a good idea even though they are such a pain.
@meri-mac totally agree that we make things bigger in our heads when we only have part of the info! The PA was in the room and she is the provider I see, so she should have been able to give me more details but they were very behind and in a rush. I’m assuming she thinks everything is fine since she isn’t in a rush to do surgery but I just need her to tell me for sure for my peace of mind. Anyway enough about me - that’s amazing that your embryos were such high quality. I’m SO excited for you. I have no idea how you won’t POAS unless you have your H hide all HPTs.
@pom9207 glad your mini vaca was the break you needed! I’ve never heard of HIO being bad during implantation but my main source of info is this forum haha
Gonna do the full check in with tags tomorrow. I left home at 6:30 for bloodwork and will get home at 9 after 16 parent teacher conferences, so it has been a long day. Progesterone was 25.5, so it’s a good number.
It's funny how it's the little things in life that mean the most...not where you live, or what you drive, or the price tag on your clothes... There's no dollar sign on a piece of mind, this I've come to know! *ZBB*
@misshelen86 good luck with the next RE appointment! Hope they can help answer some questions and lay out a clear plan for you.
@mama_mea hope the medications work for you and your test comes back good!
@inthewoods23 January will be here before you know it! Hope the treatment plans line up with you and YH’s schedules!
@emeraldduchess sorry about the itching caused by progesterone. Glad that otherwise TWW is treating you well! 24mm follicles sounds like a pretty good size!
@mvt2003 yay for well timed SA! I have also heard that count is more important than morph.
@ellieemc26 keeping the positive vibes! I am excited for your upcoming IUI
@kiki047 fx for you; hope you will be one of the unicorns who get knocked up before IVF
I realized when I got to work that I forgot to take my progesterone this AM. Please tell me I didn't just screw everything up. 😫 I am so unbelievably mad at myself right now, and I won't be home until about 4:30.
@emeraldduchess I missed two doses before and my RE reassured me that it had nothing to do with my loss. Try not to worry too much because there is nothing you can do about it. They want progesterone to be an 8 or higher during the luteal phase.
It's funny how it's the little things in life that mean the most...not where you live, or what you drive, or the price tag on your clothes... There's no dollar sign on a piece of mind, this I've come to know! *ZBB*
@pom9207 I'm so happy your mini vacay was wonderful! You deserved to get away and have some fun! I have actually recently looked that same question up on Dr. Google and found conflicting results about having sex during the TWW. Most of the things said it does not hurt anything or effect implantation at all, and my RE told me to still have sex in the TWW. Some articles even said that the sperm was good for implantation... I don't think it's something you need to refrain from!

I occasionally missed a progesterone dose and it did not adversely affect my outcomes.... Its so hard not to stress about it but one missed dose will be ok.
MH had his ultrasound today, and as we've all suspected he does have a clinically significant varicocele. We talked to our RU about treatment options, and there are 2 paths to go down for that, we're going to pursue the radiology treatment rather than surgical when the time comes.
However since we are approaching AMA, our RU has recommended we do IVF first, then fix the varicocele, as it's not currently really impacting MH and pursuing treatment of it would bench us for six months to a year, and then we would need to do more SAs to see if it fixed all the issues, and we would effectively be starting from scratch again to try for a THB.
I'm in a weird place about it right now. I'm probably going to have a solid cry session later, just having answers and a plan is overwhelming me in a way. I'm not looking forward to IVF, but I know my mental health, and MH's mental health, cannot take being benched for up to a year. In the car on the way back to the office, he told me that he can't spend another holiday season watching me with other people's LOs, and he cannot be benched for a year.
We're definitely going to fix the varicocele, but we need to forge ahead on getting our family. I'm calling my GYN today to get the referral to IVF, and hopefully they can get us in quickly.

@mvt2003 I’m sorry you got bad news, but it’s great that you have a plan you can hopefully get enacted quickly. Fingers crossed for you!
It's funny how it's the little things in life that mean the most...not where you live, or what you drive, or the price tag on your clothes... There's no dollar sign on a piece of mind, this I've come to know! *ZBB*
@mvt2003 Wow, that is a lot. It’s totally understandable that you are still processing all of that info. But overall, how amazing that you have a clear plan to go forward! It’s all a lot to undertake, for sure, but I’m so happy that you & YH have some answers, a supportive dr, and a path forward!❤️
@ellieemc26 Hope the side effects have gone away. GL with your upcoming U/S! I’m finding any kind of waiting has been the worst part of this process. That sucks you had to wait until the last possible second to hear back from the nurses. Hope you’re able to find a way to stay calm!
@mvt2003 Hope you like the podcast. I’ve learned a lot of great techniques listening to it and find it helpful whenever my mind starts spinning out of control. I’m so sorry to hear about the varicocele and that you will be moving forward with IVF, but it sounds like you’ve made the right decision to grow your family this way. FX you will be able to get started soon! Huge hugs to you.
@kiki047 FX so hard you are a unicorn that gets KU right before IVF! If not, then I hope everything goes well at your consult tomorrow.
@bows22 So sorry to read your last update, that sounds like a lot to process at once. I’m sorry that they couldn’t really answer your questions either, how frustrating! Hope you get some answers at your follow up and these next couple weeks fly by for you.
@kpearse99 Sorry you and YH got into an argument and a rough weekend. I have to say I love your attitude through all this.. even when you are struggling you are always ready to pick yourself back up. You are such a fighter I agree with you on the SS, I am trying to just ignore anything that comes up because it never means anything. I have light short periods as well (1.5 days usually) and I usually spot a day before and a day after. My RE wasn’t very concerned about this either. I thought it might be a lining issue, but last mid-cycle U/S I was at about 7.5 mm.
@NYTino24 That’s going to be my strategy going in to this next appointment, so I don’t get caught off guard again. Hope for the best and prepare for the worst.
@mama_mea Yay for normal TSH!! That must be such a relief.
@keikilove Three week wait? Hope it flies by for you and you have lots of things to keep your mind occupied! I hope this new protocol does the trick for you!
@nitnat007 That’s a good idea about asking if I can record the appointment. I hope she’s okay with that.. it’s hard to write down everything she is saying. Hope everything goes well at your check up tomorrow. Yay for shots!!! Glad to see things are moving along.
@feather_heather FX for your beta Friday! That’s so nice YH is finding little ways to cheer you up. Hope you are able to find some ways to distract yourself these next few days.
@bluetickgal Hope you get more clarity with the OPKs this time around and I’m glad to hear things are going well so far this cycle.
@meri-mac So awesome you had so many embryo’s to work with. Hope you relax these next few days and that this TWW goes quickly for you. Everything crossed!
@pom9207 Glad you had a nice mini-vacay! GL with your appointment next week! I’ve never heard that HIO is bad for implantation.. but I do know that HIO a few times a week is great for sperm count/quality!

@mvt2003 I am so sorry about those U/S results. So many hugs, friend. Cry it out as much as you need to. I am glad that you, your docs, and your DH seem to be on the right page about where to go from here, even if it's a lot to process. 💙
Okay 69 posts behind already on this thread. Going to try to catch up as much as I can. (I think still missed a few.)
Diagnosis (if you've been): Chronic Endo (previously elevated TSH and prolactin as well)
Status (WTO/TWW/TTA): TTA- Benched
What are you doing this cycle? (Testing? Treatment?): Testing- H has his SA on Monday, and I have my annual with primary on Friday. Then we are done with our checklist!
How are things going?: Got my bloodwork results and everything came back normal this time! So exciting that there will be no synthroid or cabergoline for this IUI. This month feels like it is dragging on, and I am a bit concerned about the timing for IUI for the next few months, but really it is out of our hands. My hormones and ovaries have their own timetable, so we shall wait and see.
Any questions?: Not right now
GTKY: You've won a $1000 shopping spree at the store of your choice. What store would you pick? Does a horse barn count? Would love to add a horse to our family!
@misshelen86 Yay for a girls night this weekend! Hope it helps with the distraction.
@mama_mea Garden nursery sounds like so much fun for $1000. It would change my garden and yard! Yay for numbers in normal range!
@inthewoods23 Is it an endo biopsy? I had one done in the RE office. It was similar in procedure to a Pap smear, but they take the sample from the uterus instead of cervix. It was painful (but I have chronic endo), and my RE always recommends taking aspirin before the procedure.
@emeraldduchess FX for keeping calm and distracted during this TWW! And to second what NYTino24 said, no need to worry about being late taking the progesterone.
@mvt2003 Way to go with the timing/planning of SA! The amount of energy and work that goes into planning everything out in IF is exhausting. Sorry the results of the ultrasound sound so daunting, but love that you guys have a plan for now and are moving forward!
@ellieemc26 IF is already such an emotional rollercoaster it is hard to keep everything in perspective, especially with all the extra hormones. Hope this week is smooth sailing into Sunday’s ultrasound!
@kiki047 $8K in one swipe! Ouch! Keeping fx for you for this cycle! Being a SS would be amazing!
@shoogapoff Beta on Friday! I am so late to this thread that Friday is almost here!
@bows22 Take some time for all the feelings and to process a bit! Glad you pushed back and are getting some movement from your RE!
@kpearse99 Way to dive back in again! Hope your appointment goes well tomorrow! I was going to say the same thing as NYTino24 about the progesterone and lining, but saw your response. Hope you get the peace you need about adding progesterone this cycle, and I would suggest going all out on it - not holding back! And I fully support the stop to everything that is causing more stress!
@keikilove Keeping everything crossed for you! I have never heard of the hCG protocol you are doing this cycle, but I know there are always new things on the horizon!
@nitnat007 GL with the checkup and bloodwork tomorrow!
@feather_heather Love the idea of using Christmas decorations to keep positive and happy through this journey! FX for your beta on Friday!
@bluetickgal Love the $$ spending on the furniture! I have so many rooms in my house that I want to finish!
@kbrown2385 thanks for the heads up on how much it might suck haha. Pretty much what I expected though.
@ramzlau yes and endo biopsy. As with the SHG and such, my guess is they will just tell me to take Ibuprofen beforehand.

@mvt2003 oh girl, I am so sorry for all if that news. That is a lot to take in, for sure, but like @keikilove said, it’s wonderful that you have answers and solid plans in place to move forward and get a big jump start in finally getting your family. I’m sending you so so so much love, my dear friend. ♥️
@misshelen86 thank you for the kind words. It hasn’t been easy these last few days to pick myself back up, I must be honest, and I’m not so sure I’m doing that great of a job at it but I’ll get there, I know that for sure. My lining seems to be good too at the mid-cycle ultrasound. Right around where yours is. Ugh there are just so many questions about it all that can’t get answered, and I hate that.
@ramzlau that’s great news about your results!! I’m right there with you about worrying about the timing of the next few IUIs. Ugh!! Just one more thing to stress about that you can’t control.

Re: IF Testing & Treatment w/o 11/11
@mvt2003 Good luck with FW and congrats on DH’s numbers
improving! It’s exciting you could see a change in such a short amount of time.
@bows22 I’m sorry for the vagueness of the med professionals not rally letting you know what’s going on and then making you nervous by giving each other looks. That's the worst! I pray all is well at your follow-up. Write
down your very direct questions beforehand and don’t be afraid to ask them. I’d actually ask: “I noticed the techs were having a hard time
& giving each other looks—what was that about?”
@ellieemc26 Good luck with the IUI. Try your best to do positive self-talk! Mental approach is a big part
of this TTC battle.
@nitnat007 @feather_heather Thinking of you!♥️🙏🏽♥️🙏🏽♥️
@keikilove FX SO HARD for all those betas! 💜
@shoogapoff my betas are on Monday 11/25. I am going to test at home, though. I don't want to have to get bad news at work. I hope the time until your betas on Friday flies by!
@bows22 I am so sorry that your procedure was so nerve-wracking. I hope that they give you some thorough answers. 💙
AFM the RE’s office sent me a message yesterday saying that they want to schedule an HSG since my tubes wouldn’t cooperate and do my follow up after. I wrote back that I’d like to discuss where we are at so far and also get on the surgery schedule so we will see what they say.
@mama_mea FX for good results from your test.
@shoogapoff FX for you!
Thank you to all that serve and for the family and loved ones that serve too
Diagnosis (if you've been): AMA, MFI (low morph/acrosome defect)
Status (WTO/TWW/TTA): waiting on IVF
What are you doing this cycle? (Testing? Treatment?): IVF
How are things going?: Things are good. Still rolling on the nasal spray for down reg. Go in on Thursday for my check up and blood work before starting shots. Have to drag MH in there for his refresher
Let's get this party started!
Any questions?:
GTKY: You've won a $1000 shopping spree at the store of your choice. What store would you pick? Depends on the day. HomeDepot or just give me all the Amazon.
@misshelen86 – Thanks for the podcast recommendation!
@mama_mea – Hope your numbers come back better this time around!
@inthewoods23 – Yay! Excited that your next cycle is finally around the corner!
@emeraldd – Ughh I’m hating the progesterone too… I’m literally changing my pantyliner once an hour so that I’ll stay dry down there. Idk what I’d rather this or a needle everyday to the butt haha
@mvt2003 – I’m so glad you were able to get that timing worked out!
@elliemc26 – FX the clomid is working well!
@kiki047 – Can you ask for a blood test prior to purchasing the meds? Only Gonal-F has to be refrigerated out of those two (but take it out for 30 mins and let it get to room temp before injecting). If you have cetrotide (med to keep you from ovulating too early) then that also needs to be refrigerated.
@shoogapoff – We’re beta twins!! FX!
@bows22 – Ughh that’s so frustrating. When is your follow up appointment?
@kpearse99 – So sorry that your back in WTO, ttc is such a physically and emotionally trying process. I also have super short periods. One day of bleeding (maybe fill half of my diva cup) and then 2-3 days of spotting afterwards. I also keep asking my RE about it and he’s not concerned.
@keikilove – Wow you did you PIO shots all by yourself? I’ve heard those are the scariest ones! You go girlfriend!!
@nitnat007– Yayyy!!
Diagnosis (if you've been): Unexplained infertility, endometriosis, borderline PCOS
Status (WTO/TWW/TTA): TWW

Status (WTO/TWW/TTA): WTO
Status (WTO/TWW/TTA): TWW
@mama_mea Welcome! Fx for your results!
@shoogapoff I'm holding my breathe for you!
@bows22 Love the sideways glances in an area like this. Geez I would have been ticked. Remember that we tend to make things bigger in our own heads when we only have part of the info. The techs just aren't allowed to say much. Here come the calming vibes.
@keikilove Why a 3 week wait? Go Beta Go!
@nitnat007 Get it started, yeah! Let's get it started in here!
@feather_heather Oh boy oh boy oh boy oh boy! So exciting!
@bluetickgal Hoping the OPKs help!!

@meri-mac @bows22 Yep, betas today, Friday, and next Monday.
Diagnosis (if you've been): Low morph, elevated prolactin
Status (WTO/TWW/TTA): TWW
What are you doing this cycle? (Testing? Treatment?): Unmedicated IUI
How are things going?: Going well! The 3 day mini vacation really helps with the TWW anxiety. First local RE appointment is next week, wish me luck 💪
Any questions?: is HIO during the so called “implantation period” 5dpo to 10dpo not good for implantation? Dr.Google showed some research results saying so, but my OB says there is no adverse impact.
GTKY: man, I don’t know... I will probably pick Sephora?

@shoogapoff FX for your beta on Friday!

@NYTino24 That is a great progesterone number!
@ramzlau yes and endo biopsy. As with the SHG and such, my guess is they will just tell me to take Ibuprofen beforehand.
