Can I sleep on a heated mattress pad? Usually I just turn it to “preheat” while I’m in the shower and then turn it off when I get in and that’s enough, but I don’t want to cause problems. What about electric blankets?
@Swiftlet I think you’re only supposed to use a heating pad for like 10-15 minutes. I would assume anything else covering you that’s warm would be the same?

@charbabymama I've had tailbone pain for a few months. It really stinks. Sitting on a yoga ball, doing yoga stretches, and seeing a chiropractor helps for me.
I never had an outie last pregnancy and don't expect one but it is getting smaller. My daughter thinks she can see the baby through it so if it pops it might be distressing - haha.

My regular bras are a 36B and they still fit me. I bought the Target no underwire nursing bras in M which they say 36B fits into and the band is too small. WTH? I got 2 for $19 total with coupons so I don't want to return them. Thinking of buying an extender on Amazon. I guess I should have tried them on.... My belly button still looks the same.

I’ve been wearing stretchy nursing bras pretty much this entire pregnancy because they’re more comfortable. My breasts were very small from having gone down to one nursing session/day with DD2 months ago, they’re now pretty big, and I know from experience that when my milk comes in they’ve will be massive. The same stretchy, underwire free nursing bras from Kohl’s and Motherhood fit during all of these transitions. It’s the way to go.
The top of my belly button has been an outtie since 21 weeks, or so. It’s never fully popped with any pregnancy.
My belly button is an outtie for sure, but I am also pretty sure I have a hernia because it had never gone back to the same size. After I am done birthing this baby I am going to address all the issues. My belly button, my bladder, anything else I think doesn’t work right anymore.
@charbabymama with my previous pregnancy it never popped. Witht this one its already an outie since I developed diastasis rectii with my last pregnancy and it never fully went away so the pressure is pushing it out early
@charbabymama My tailbone has really bothered me some days. I have been getting prenatal massages and it has helped a bit but it has been really painful some days. I have been trying to stand more at work and that has also relived a little bit of the pain as well.
@celticknotfire I might just order these. It has everything I need.

@nhh11 I'm still wearing the same bra from pre-pregnancy. My B cups are fuller B cups, but my boobs don't get huge (and I EBF my DS and plan to be able to feed this kid).
@charbabymama Mine didn't pop the first time either, just got flush. Still have an innie at the moment.
Not a question, but I just wanted to say thanks to everyone for being so active and helpful in this group!! I lurk on other months (who doesn't?) And NO ONE is as active as feburary! Way to go moms! I also can't wait until everyone starts posting their birth announcements! (I mean...I CAN wait lol stay put babies!) Thank you all for being amazing!
@nhh11 I was a 36b pre first pregnancy and bought a few medium and large motherhood brand nursing bras with no wire. I’ve been wearing them for almost three years straight now and like them a lot
@misstree5 that’s good feedback! I haven’t lurked other months if I’m being honest. That will be so awesome so see birth announcements! But agreed, none yet we have to bake them for a little bit longer.
@zseirecarg thanks! For me it's not the width it's the cup size. I was hoping to wait to buy nursing bras since my last ones were toast by the end of nursing but I will just buy them in rounds hahaha. When my milk came in they got so massive and my husband was like oh yay and I was like get off of me don't touch me! haha. He still talks about it. The problem is on the nursing bras it gives guides for 34 B/C, etc, and 38 DDD, etc., but no 34G. Luckily they are pretty stretchy.
We should do a nursing bra product spotlight closer to births. I got sized and got some really nice ones at Nordstrom last time and it was totally worth it.

Has anyone here gone into labor while at work? I don't know why I'm stressing about this 🤦♀️ what if it's just contractions and not the real thing? FTM overthinking everything haha
Has anyone been put on pelvic rest then taken off later?
I just got put on pelvic rest yesterday after I started bleeding during intercourse. Currently waiting for my next appointment next Thursday with standing orders to go to L&D if anything feels off. But outside of that bleeding nothing felt off. No pain, cramps, bleeding/spotting stopped in less than 30 minutes.
@foreveronyourside, I was induced at 38 weeks so I never even had to figure out when to go to the hospital. I’m also nervous about going into labor at work and/or knowing when to go to the hospital.
I will say generally contractions start mild and build so you don’t instantly go into full on labor mode. You should know and have enough time. Also not everyone’s water breaks to start labor or even during early labor, if that’s a fear of yours. Mine actually broke on the toilet at the hospital but once it broke true labor started.
@foreveronyourside I am scared my water will break at work all over my computer chair. But it seems like people's water don't really break that much outside the hospital. All I hear is a nurse breaking the water.

@catwood1703 I was put on pelvic rest earlier in my pregnancy when I had some spotting after sex, but it was just cervical irritation. So I was allowed back off. But now I’m back on pelvic rest until the end of my pregnancy due to partial placental abruption.
@foreveronyourside labor starting at work wouldn’t concern me. If you’re feeling contractions just leave (either home or to the hospital). For about 10% of women their water breaks before contractions. But even if that does happen to you, you may not even be at work (if you work an 8-hour day, that’s basically a 1/3 chance you’d be at work IF your water even broke first). Personally I am in that 10% whose water broke first, but I was at home sleeping because it was 2:45 a.m. on a Sunday.
@rikiteacup my water broke with my first at home. It wasn't a gush or anything. It kinda just felt like I peed myself a little, went to the bathroom, and it just kept trickling (so I knew it wasn't pee lol) ...put on a pad and went to the hospital it's not always how they show it in the movies with a giant GUSH lol
@foreveronyourside I'm worried about the same thing! With my first I woke up feeling weird the day labor started and stayed home from work. I ended up laboring over the course of the day, having baby that evening, and going home by bed time. My big worry is that labor will start at work and it won't be safe to drive myself home or to the birth center because of how quickly it picks up and how long those drives are. There's always taking an Uber if we have to. I'm just hoping labor starts either middle of the night, first thing in the morning, or on the weekend this time.
Speaking of water breaking, I had no idea it can keep coming. Mine was a gush while on the toilet but any time I moved while standing a lot more would keep coming out. It’s obviously different for everyone but I assumed like an extra pair of underwear/pants and a towel would be fine. For me I leaked through everything until the hospital gave me a huge pad to wear. I honestly plan to keep Depends in the car this time around because it would have ruined my leather lol
@jvk2012 yes!! I had no idea either. I kept having more gushes every contraction. I put on a big pad for the ride to the hospital. I also put down a trash bag on my seat, with a towel over top.
Yep. I, too, was surprised by the constant trickling/sudden gushes. I really thought it would all flow out at once like in the movies. For context, I was induced at 39 weeks and my water broke at the hospital. I also didn't expect it feel it like I did. It felt like a rubber band snapping.
I was reading on another forum about water breaking (@foreveronyourside it's been on my mind for a while! I guess I'm prefreaking out about it too) It's a little amusing to me how many women say theirs have broken when they went to the toilet!
My water broke while laboring in a tub and felt like a water jet on my legs/feet. It was also like a pop or snap, but I never knew how much I was leaking or how much came out.
Oh I hadn’t even started thinking about my water breaking yet! I did talk to my boss about working from home 10 ish days before my due date so hopefully it waits till then and I’ll be at home? @craftywitch I also worry about being out somewhere and having to drive myself in the midst of contractions.
