Re: WTO Friday 9/13
Month/Cycle: 10/11
CD: 6
WAYDTGKU: BBT, OPKs, tracking CM
R/R: I pulled the trigger and made an RE appointment yesterday. I’m over 35 so I’ve had the referral since May but I was hoping we wouldn’t need to use it. It’s next month so I’m still hoping that I will get KU this cycle and we won’t have to go. But I’m not getting any younger so time to find out if we have anything working against us. Tonight I am meeting DH after work and we are going to visit his grandma. I know she gets lonely so I’m looking forward to cheering her up for awhile. Happy Friday everyone!
CS/Q: AF is on her way out so I’ll start temping tomorrow
Month/Cycle: Well... today marks one year of trying 💔 (9 cycles AL)
CD: the big 40 (I think I’m finally getting some signs of AF)
WAYDTGKU: preseed, OPK, PNV, CM, EOD/HIO, letrozole
R/R: I’m feeling a bit defeated today. And I’m tired. Tired of traveling, tired of not sleeping the best... tired of all of the emotional ups and downs TTC takes you on. Don’t worry, I’m still doing my best to hold onto my hopeful/positive attitude but even positive people feel down at times. 💜
I am just so happy to be going home! I had fun in Houston while I was here, and the training went great, but i haven’t seen MH since last weekend and I am just ready to get back into some normalcy!

Borrowing @NYTino24’s June hype!
@kpearse99 Sorry for the one year mark travelling and being away from your routine definitely takes a toll! I'm glad you will be getting back to normal. I hope AF coming brings good things with moving on to IUI!

R/R: It's Friday!!!! Its my working Friday, but that's okay. I usually have less distractions and get more work done Fridays and they end up being my shortest day since I can usually sneak out early (or at least on time). Its street fair weekend in our town so I will probably meet H there after work and we can walk around and grab dinner. After highs in the 50s most of the week, expecting to get to 65 sounds really nice 🤣

@kpearse I’m sorry you’re having a hard day. I hope that once you are home and back to normal life you feel better. *creepy internet hugs*
@bows22 I’m sorry that your at a point to get started with a RE. I hope that you get KU this cycle and don’t have to use your referral. But happy that you may get answers and help if you do need to use it. *creepy internet hugs for you too*

Then I have a bridal appt to go for a friend who’s wedding DH and I are both in, and hopefully visiting a friend Sunday! our plan for next cycle should really kick my body into gear, so I am really looking forward to that. Upping the letrozole from 2.5 to 7.5 and close monitoring so we can trigger and then do IUI! I just want to get started!
@millpe thanks, friend! I don’t know what Street fair weekend is but it sounds so fun and right up my alley! Have a great time!

@bows22 it is never a nice feeling to realize you need a RE appointment. Ok glad you were able to make one though to get the ball rolling. Hopefully the wait for the appointment isn't too bad!
@kpearse99 I hope AF shows up soon for you. Anovulatory cycles suck. Also on feeling defeated: it's OK to feel what you need to feel! TTC sucks. Struggling with TTC sucks. There are so many emotions that go with it all. That is even more true after a loss which I am so, so sorry for your loss. I hope you start to feel a little better soon.
@millpe 65 sounds like perfect street fair weather. It's cool enough you can walk around without getting hot but not so cool that you'll need to bundle up at all. The whole street fair thing sounds so fun too. I am a sucker for that kind of thing.

WAYDTGKU: charting, OPKs, checking CM, PNV, CoQ10, baby aspirin, fish oil.
R/R: I have been charting doing OPKs and all that for a few months to kinda prep for when we actually started trying. So far our timing has been awful. Not that it mattered because I was still on BCP. But ya know just to get a feel for how this will go. My husband travels a lot for work so he isn't always even on the same side of the country during my fertile window. It looks like he might actually be home this time around assuming I O around CD13-16. I have a history of longer, irregular cycles while not on BCPs (like 27-65 days) so who knows.

@kpearse99 thanks. I'm going to need all of the extra patience and will power today, especially this afternoon with 5 classes back to back with no time in between.
@NamelessAria FX that YH is home for your FW. That has to be hard with all of that traveling.
Anyways,
@bows22 I'm sorry you're facing seeing an RE, but I also hope - if you do end up needing to go - that it's short-lived because you're successful super quickly
@kpearse99 I hope AF shows up so you can move on to the next cycle. How frustrating and you don't need to stay positive all of the time. It's ok to be down sometimes too.
@millpe have so much fun at the street fair! eat all the fried thingies! ...that's what I am imagining right now... specifically, funnel cake...
@photographerwife I hope you have a lovely weekend!
@gingermama29 enjoy your weekend of NOT needing to travel anywhere!
@NamelessAria Best of luck in your first cycle! If my first cycle has taught me anything it's that your body loves to completely change things on you the moment you start TTC

@gingermama29 I will gladly send you the cool weather if I can trade for more warm days? I'm just not ready for it to be cold yet. Yesterday felt SO cold with it raining all day. Funny how in the spring 50 feels warm and in the fall it feels so cold.
@NamelessAria Hoping you O during your "normal" time so your husband is around! I'm traveling next week for a couple nights and starting to get worried about our timing since it's right around expected O for me.

@bows22 Enjoy dinner tonight! I always feel a little awkward meeting up with grandparents, but I feel guilty when it’s been too long too. Making that call can be tough, but hopefully it’ll jinx you into having this month be the one!
@kpearse99 I’m so sorry that you’re feeling defeated! I’m hoping that your o was just super late, but if not, I’m hoping your new plan will do the trick. Ttc can be such constant heartbreak; we get it all too well. You don’t need to pretend with your feelings here. You know so many of us can relate. Sending some ❤️❤️ your way!!
@millpe I hope your body is helping you out with your timing! Enjoy that street fair! Gosh, beginning of fall is the best!
@photographerwife you have so many weddings in your life! How fun! I hope you enjoy work this weekend! I imagine it’s a photo shoot?
@gingermama29 Which grade do you teach? I hope the kiddos aren’t too off the walls today. Maybe they’ll still be honeymooning since it’s so early in the year?

I told mh that we need to pace ourselves since it’s been a little while since we’ve been actively trying, and we’re failing at that. 🔥 Ha, so I guess it’s a nice problem to have? Cm and my drive have been reassuring, so I’m hoping for + opk tomorrow. I still have no idea what my endometriosis is up to since having tissues cleared out in May, so hopefully it’s still in check? Just trying to keep myself balanced between hopeful and hopeless.

CS/Q: None.
@bows22 so sorry you are to the point of calling the RE, but good job for taking that step! Fingers crossed this is your cycle and you can cancel that appt! 🤞🏻
@kpearse99 sending hugs!! 💜 Hitting the year mark is so hard! Still hoping your symptoms aren’t AF, but something way better! You are totally validated in feeling down...but we are all here to lift you up and encourage you!!
@millpe hope your day is as productive/short as expected! Your evening sounds fun...and that weather, so jealous! It’s been 90+ all week here! Hope your timing works out well with your travels next week...come on O!
@photographerwife your weekend sounds super busy, but also fun!! Hope you can relax some too!!
@gingermama29 oh dear, hope your students aren’t too crazy today!! Enjoy your event/travel free weekend!! Always nice to have those every now & then!
@NamelessAria that’s great you have already been tracking to get in the swing of things! Hope your timing works out well this cycle!!
@begging4abump glad your visit with your grandma went well! Sounds like no pacing was necessary...fingers crossed this is your cycle! ☺️ Will you get a scan to check on your endometriosis or just see how it goes for a bit?
@mvt2003 your morning sounds great (besides the run, but I’m NOT a runner)! Hope you have a relaxing day getting your closet organized!! Sometimes it’s nice just not being at work and doing things at your own pace!
Just wanted to say thank you for the thermometer suggestions yesterday!! I had my H look at walmart and nothing so i'll just order on amazon!

WAYDTGKU: PNV, CM, charting, BBT
R/R: I have the day off today!! H is picking up food for tonight, we are making salmon so i'm v excited about that!
I ended up not going in early for work yesterday, they made me feel terrible about it and I was very upset, felt like I was getting punished for not going in early. It especially made me mad because they didn't even need my help that early so it would've been a waste for me to go in. Needless to say I am going to be making a new resume and looking for a job. I'm hitting 5 years with this company in like a week but I just can't do it anymore. My mental health and sanity (and my physical health, I need time for breaks and to eat !) are more important. Part of me wants to wait to TTC so I can qualify for FMLA if I have to get a new job but most of me doesn't want to stop again because I have concerns and I don't want to keep putting this off. This is the one thing in life I am sure of and that I want more than any job so I'm just rolling with it.
CS/Q: nahhhh
@bows22 i'm glad you have an appt lined up but i'm sorry that you had to end up using the referral, hoping they can find some answers for you, or at least a plan! and fx you won't have to go at all! Visit with grandma sounds so nice!
@kpearse99 hugs positive people are absolutely allowed to feel all the feelings! I admire your will to try and stay positive though! Safe travels home and for a fast return to normalcy!
@millpe I hope you have a good day at work! and that fair sounds so awesome! I miss having a fair/market like that I loveee them. And the weather sounds perfect yay for great CM!
@photographerwife best of luck with your work weekend! bridal appt sounds fun hopefully its an enjoyable one!
@gingermama29 oh man I hope your kids aren't too crazy today!! yay for a nice weekend with nothing going on!
@namelessaria I feel you on the terrible timing! i'm sorry that your H travels so much, hoping you get good timing this month if he will be home, fx for a punctual O!
@saladflambe sorry that this cycle is wonky and isn't working out
@begging4abump i'm glad you had a good visit with grandma! & yaassss girl that is a great problem to have imo! hahaha hope your endo is still in check!
@mvt2003 aw that's nice that H had a day off too! happy you got to sleep in. have fun organizing! feel free to show us the finished product I have no idea how to organize my closet lol
@konoha ugh, sorry about the undeserved work guilt. Glad you’ve got a break from their crap today. Enjoy the salmon!
@mvt2003 so jealous of your sleeping in! Way to start the day off right! Hopefully you can take care of errands later too, but catching up on sleep definitely counts as productive!
eta missing words
@begging4abump ah, I see! Well, hopefully you don't have to worry about that anyways! Thanks!! Date night is going to be dinner and then the Terry Fator show...should be fun! Hope you have a good weekend!!
@mvt2003 I’m glad you are having a nice day off even if you are delayed on the closet work. Sleeping in is the best!
@bluetickgal enjoy your laidback weekend and your date night! I’m so glad it’s friday too!
@konoha I think you are doing the right thing all around with your job issues!

Month/Cycle: 13/13

WAYDTGKU: CM, prenatals, evening primrose oil, shatavari, SA this month hopefully. We're moving a little slowly.....
R/R: Still just excited for this weekend - apple picking Sunday, yoga and hopefully a lot of reading inside tomorrow when it's going to be rainy. I need to clean my house tho in order to really enjoy it.
CS/Q: nope!
@whitealbum29 mh took forever to do his sa too. It was a whole big thing. 🙄 I hope your SO gets it done soon without much of a to-do. Your weekend sounds like a great balance of doing and relaxing. I’m also at the point of needing a deep clean for the house; hopefully you and I both find the energy to do it!
@whitealbum29 your weekend sounds dreamy! except for the cleaning house part! but the feeling of a clean house is the best
@gingermama29 I hope you’d students aren’t too crazy today! Have a relaxing weekend!
@namelessaria I hope you are able to have good timing this cycle! Is your name a GOT reference?
@saladflambe man, I hope you get some clarity soon. That sounds frustrating.
@millpe I work as a part-time teller for Arvest bank! Ive been there for a while and used to work full time in a senior teller position. But I enjoy part-time now!
@begging4abump I know! I love it! This one is actually a wedding that I’m standing in for a close friend! I hope your endo is good now!
@mvt2003 it sounds like you are having a lovely day, I hope you get lots done!
@bluetickgal I hope you and DH have a nice weekend!
@konoha that sounds so frustrating. I don’t blame you for wanting to leave. Even if you don’t qualify for FMLA. If they’re treating you this way now they probably won’t be any more accommodating when you are pregnant or have a baby. Imo a family is more important than any job too. Full support here!
@whitealbum29 your weekend sounds lovely! Hope the cleaning doesn’t take long so you can enjoy relaxing!!
@begging4abump yep, he’s the ventriloquist. No worries, that was a few days ago and there is a lot to keep up with around here! Thanks, I’m definitely excited, I’ve never seen a ventriloquist live either!
@photographerwife thank you!! Hope you enjoy your busy weekend too!
@millpe I'm okay with that trade. 😊
@bows22 thanks. They weren't too bad today thankfully though we had two fire drills so there's that 🙃
@begging4abump I teach grades K-6. Some were definitely better than others today but overall it wasn't too bad. Glad things went well with your grandma yesterday.
@mvt2003 sounds like a nice day today. Goat you got to sleep in.
@bluetickgal oooh what are you two doing for date night? Sounds like it'll be a nice weekend.
@konoha ugh I'm sorry they gave you crap yesterday for not going in early. That so frustrating. I don't blame you for wanting to find something else. You have to take care of your mental health and sanity.
@whitealbum29 your weekend sounds great. I hope you're able to get some nice relaxation time.
@bluetickgal I hope you and YH have the best weekend and soak up all of your alone time!
@konoha Good for you for taking initiative and updating your resume. It is NOT worth it to be in any job that makes you feel that way. It sounds like you are at your breaking point, so this is a good time to dive into apply for new jobs. I wish you the best of luck!
@whitealbum29 your week sounds like heaven! I'm the same way, I need my house to be clean and organized for me to really feel like I can relax!!
@photographerwife I'm so sorry I missed you earlier, I'm not sure how that happened but I am sorry!! I hope your work weekend goes by super fast. And thank you for the creepy internet hugs!
AFM - I made it home safe and right on time! There were zero issues with take off, the flight or landing/pulling into the gate and getting off the plane!
When I got in my house my RE called me to check in on me, I guess it's been a while since they heard from me huh?! - They asked how I was doing and I said "Still waiting.... sigh" They told me to call Monday morning if AF hasn't arrived and they will bring me in for testing to see where I am at and what's going on. I'm really happy they called me, it meant a lot actually.
Also - thank you ladies for cheering me up with your support today. Especially those of you that have gone through all of these ups and downs right along with me and have let me be there for you (You know who you are!!).
I am in a better frame of mind, at the moment any, and I'm going to be okay! It really really does mean the world to me though that I don't have to be this held together, perky and positive person all the time with you gals - because you just get it.
