WAYDTGKU: BBT, OPKs, tracking CM

R/R: I pulled the trigger and made an RE appointment yesterday. I’m over 35 so I’ve had the referral since May but I was hoping we wouldn’t need to use it. It’s next month so I’m still hoping that I will get KU this cycle and we won’t have to go. But I’m not getting any younger so time to find out if we have anything working against us. Tonight I am meeting DH after work and we are going to visit his grandma. I know she gets lonely so I’m looking forward to cheering her up for awhile. Happy Friday everyone!

Month/Cycle: Well... today marks one year of trying 💔 (9 cycles AL)

CD: the big 40 (I think I’m finally getting some signs of AF)

WAYDTGKU: preseed, OPK, PNV, CM, EOD/HIO, letrozole

R/R: I’m feeling a bit defeated today. And I’m tired. Tired of traveling, tired of not sleeping the best... tired of all of the emotional ups and downs TTC takes you on. Don’t worry, I’m still doing my best to hold onto my hopeful/positive attitude but even positive people feel down at times. 💜

I am just so happy to be going home! I had fun in Houston while I was here, and the training went great, but i haven’t seen MH since last weekend and I am just ready to get back into some normalcy!

@kpearse99 have a safe trip home! I’m glad it seems like AF is finally coming (even though I was hoping this crazy cycle would end differently). And I think you are allowed to feel down for a bit, I’m sorry you are hitting the 1 year milestone on top of it. Do you know what the plan will be for next cycle yet? I think a fresh start will bring your positive attitude back.

R/R: It's Friday!!!! Its my working Friday, but that's okay. I usually have less distractions and get more work done Fridays and they end up being my shortest day since I can usually sneak out early (or at least on time). Its street fair weekend in our town so I will probably meet H there after work and we can walk around and grab dinner. After highs in the 50s most of the week, expecting to get to 65 sounds really nice 🤣

R/R: It’s my work weekend, so hopefully the time will fly by. Since I don’t work often it’s always nice to see my co-workers and people I’ve known for a long time. Then I have a bridal appt to go for a friend who’s wedding DH and I are both in, and hopefully visiting a friend Sunday! I know that a couple of you are having a hard time right now, and I am sending out all the love and positive thoughts for all of you! 💕

@bows22 I guess that technically the slight symptoms I’m starting to feel could go either way on the AF or soon to be BFP front... I’m not fully counting myself out yet since I have no clue if or when I O’d...it’s not likely but you never know so we shall see!

our plan for next cycle should really kick my body into gear, so I am really looking forward to that. Upping the letrozole from 2.5 to 7.5 and close monitoring so we can trigger and then do IUI! I just want to get started!

R/R: TGIF! It's Friday the 13th and a full moon though so I'm fully expecting that my students are going to be off the walls today. Not much planned for this weekend, which I'm happy about as we've traveled to see people the last 4 straight weekends. It's going to be nice to get a break and just have a quiet weekend at home.

@bows22 it is never a nice feeling to realize you need a RE appointment. Ok glad you were able to make one though to get the ball rolling. Hopefully the wait for the appointment isn't too bad!

@kpearse99 I hope AF shows up soon for you. Anovulatory cycles suck. Also on feeling defeated: it's OK to feel what you need to feel! TTC sucks. Struggling with TTC sucks. There are so many emotions that go with it all. That is even more true after a loss which I am so, so sorry for your loss. I hope you start to feel a little better soon.

@millpe 65 sounds like perfect street fair weather. It's cool enough you can walk around without getting hot but not so cool that you'll need to bundle up at all. The whole street fair thing sounds so fun too. I am a sucker for that kind of thing.

WAYDTGKU: charting, OPKs, checking CM, PNV, CoQ10, baby aspirin, fish oil.

R/R: I have been charting doing OPKs and all that for a few months to kinda prep for when we actually started trying. So far our timing has been awful. Not that it mattered because I was still on BCP. But ya know just to get a feel for how this will go. My husband travels a lot for work so he isn't always even on the same side of the country during my fertile window. It looks like he might actually be home this time around assuming I O around CD13-16. I have a history of longer, irregular cycles while not on BCPs (like 27-65 days) so who knows.

@kpearse99 Basically a lot of local vendors of crafts or other goods set up tents and they block off a section of downtown. So you get to shop a lot of homemade, local things + all the food trucks from the area get a section, so there is lots of good food to choose from!

@NamelessAria thank you for the kind words of encouragement! The TTC process or journey is certainly not an easy one! Welcome to the TTC community! I wish you the best of luck 💜 that stinks about how much YH travels, but I hope it all works out for you. Your cycles sound a bit like how mine were for most of my life. All over the place! After my loss my cycles became regular at every 30 days and then just recently (these last 3 cycles) they went back to being all wonky. Anyway, we are a great community filled with so many supportive and amazing women!

@gingermama29 I will gladly send you the cool weather if I can trade for more warm days? I'm just not ready for it to be cold yet. Yesterday felt SO cold with it raining all day. Funny how in the spring 50 feels warm and in the fall it feels so cold.

@NamelessAria Hoping you O during your "normal" time so your husband is around! I'm traveling next week for a couple nights and starting to get worried about our timing since it's right around expected O for me.

R/R: Seeing my grandmother was fine. There was a little awkwardness, but not that much more than a usual visit. 😅

I told mh that we need to pace ourselves since it’s been a little while since we’ve been actively trying, and we’re failing at that. 🔥 Ha, so I guess it’s a nice problem to have? Cm and my drive have been reassuring, so I’m hoping for + opk tomorrow. I still have no idea what my endometriosis is up to since having tissues cleared out in May, so hopefully it’s still in check? Just trying to keep myself balanced between hopeful and hopeless.

R/R: It’s Friday!!! So happy that the weekend is almost here!! Definitly ready for a break and a weekend with just me & DH (we’ve been traveling or had guests the past couple)! Excited for our date night Saturday too! Still no signs of AF, but hopefully it happens this weekend!

Happy Friday!!

Just wanted to say thank you for the thermometer suggestions yesterday!! I had my H look at walmart and nothing so i'll just order on amazon!

R/R: I have the day off today!! H is picking up food for tonight, we are making salmon so i'm v excited about that!

I ended up not going in early for work yesterday, they made me feel terrible about it and I was very upset, felt like I was getting punished for not going in early. It especially made me mad because they didn't even need my help that early so it would've been a waste for me to go in. Needless to say I am going to be making a new resume and looking for a job. I'm hitting 5 years with this company in like a week but I just can't do it anymore. My mental health and sanity (and my physical health, I need time for breaks and to eat !) are more important. Part of me wants to wait to TTC so I can qualify for FMLA if I have to get a new job but most of me doesn't want to stop again because I have concerns and I don't want to keep putting this off. This is the one thing in life I am sure of and that I want more than any job so I'm just rolling with it.

@bluetickgal I think endo really can only be seen with surgery, unless adhesions are totally blocking tubes, which then shows up when the dye/saline stuff can’t move through. So I guess I try for a few months and then ask for another hsg or something? Anyway, c’mon weekend already! Enjoy date night! Hopefully a weekend update so you can share what you guys did? I think our last date night was on our anniversary, so I’d like to live vicariously please. 🙂

AFM - I made it home safe and right on time! There were zero issues with take off, the flight or landing/pulling into the gate and getting off the plane!

When I got in my house my RE called me to check in on me, I guess it's been a while since they heard from me huh?! - They asked how I was doing and I said "Still waiting.... sigh" They told me to call Monday morning if AF hasn't arrived and they will bring me in for testing to see where I am at and what's going on. I'm really happy they called me, it meant a lot actually.

Also - thank you ladies for cheering me up with your support today. Especially those of you that have gone through all of these ups and downs right along with me and have let me be there for you (You know who you are!!).

I am in a better frame of mind, at the moment any, and I'm going to be okay! It really really does mean the world to me though that I don't have to be this held together, perky and positive person all the time with you gals - because you just get it.
