@optimism3 Round ligament pain for me has always been sudden and sharp and typically anywhere in my lower stomach (below my belly button)
Ive been getting so many headaches since starting my second trimester. They have been awful and so hard to get rid of. I think I’d rather the nausea came back 🙈
Didn’t take my zofran last night, took it this AM the second I woke up...and vomited anyway I felt low level nauseous most of the morning at work too which I haven’t had to deal with for a while now. Hopefully this isn’t a new fun trend.
Heartburn like crazy! 😭 Forgot how uncomfortable it is, with my first pregnancy this didn’t start til towards the end so it was at least short lived. Now, I have more than half my pregnancy to still go through!
@chipsnsalsa20 I am also starting to get heartburn. I had that with my last pregnancy and it sucked. Also, your bump name always makes me want chips and salsa!
No heartburn yet, but had it all third tri with DS and I remember some days going to sleep thinking "well at least it'll be better in the morning" and waking up still having the same heartburn! Not looking forward to that!
Are the boobs ever going to stop hurting? Mine are still sore and feel achey and once in a while I get a random growing pain- seriously? They didn't do this much last time and I'm over it.
I've been exhausted the last 2 weekends. I can't get out of bed without feeling like I only slept for 1 hour. I usually fall back asleep and sleep until noon. And then I am dragging all day. Folding laundry? I need to lay down and rest. This is really debilitating. Sundays are worse. I am wondering if having a busy Saturday is causing it. I will mention it to my midwife tomorrow. I wasn't this tired during the 1st trimester!

Anyone else with an “aching” in your hips/pelvis/uterus? It’s hard to describe, almost like a cramp but not as bad. Just a dull ache that will go away after a few seconds. OB says that’s everything “expanding” down there. Lovely, I’ve always wanted to be told I’m expanding lol.
@slimjoco Mine will last for more than a few seconds. I always equate it to post deadlift day from the gym. It's quite a nuisance! I've had to take some pain relievers on a few occasions lately to combat it. Or hang out with my heating pad.
Is there anyone with NO symptoms? I don't feel pregnant at all. Nausea is gone, extreme bloating is gone. I don't wake up as much to pee at night (might be due to me not drinking enough water). Except for extreme fatigue on Sundays if I have a busy Saturday. I am glad I have my 16 week appointment this afternoon because I have no way of knowing how this baby is doing.

@rikiteacup some days I don’t have any. The peeing slows down some and will pick back up. I’m sure all is good but I’m glad you have an appointment today to ease your mind! I missed my 16 week so mine is a 17 week on Thursday and I’m ready.

@rikiteacup I honestly don't feel pregnant most days. If I didn't have this bump that all of a sudden appeared, I wouldn't think that I was. I use my doppler most days still just to confirm the heartbeat is still there and strong.
Appointment went well yesterday. They were able to hear the heartbeat right away on the doppler. I feel much better. They told me to enjoy my symptom-free weeks.

@kjeepers87 I’m having some of that too and I find that stretching before bed really helps. Usually quads, hamstrings and glutes and I can get to sleep.
@Swiftlet, yeah pregnancy brain is rough and has hit me hard too. I thought I bought stuff for baby on Carter's website because they had clearance items. I know I ordered it at work and even entered by credit card but apparently never hit the final submit because I have no record of it and it's all still in my cart but now it's out of stock. Boo!
@Swiftlet@jvk2012 me too with preggo brain! I’ll forget the simplest words. I’ll be looking right at something like a cup or a sock and I’m just like “uhhh that thing!👉”
@Swiftlet I hear you! The other day I walked into my classroom before a meeting to grab a pen and grabbed a post-it note instead. I didn't realize my mistake until I sat down at the meeting. 🤣
@nhh11@Swiftlet@jvk2012 This is me all day every day. The worst is when it happens in a client session. Luckily my clients are an understanding bunch and we can laugh about it.
+1 with the pregnancy brain. Last night I turned on the shower and opened the closet door to get a towel. Stared at the towels for a good minute before I could remember what I was looking for.
@nhh11 yes, why is it always the simplest things I can’t think of the word for?
@kjeepers87 and then you just look at the wrong thing like why do I have this?!
@mandk1233 I left a client a voicemail about her dog’s weight loss...and said “blood loss” instead! Then had to be like “wait, no, weight loss!” Poor lady probably thinks I’m crazy haha.
@doodleoodle I do this a lot too. I usually figure out what it was I meant to grab but sometimes it takes a while!
My recent one has been leaving the house wearing my slippers instead of my shoes. Repeatedly! Fortunately I catch myself before I drive away 😂
@Swiftlet lol at your shoe mishap! I don’t wear my shoes when I drive into work. One morning I forgot to bring them, and didn’t realize until I got to my office. Rather than driving the hour back home to get them, I walked into Walmart barefoot to buy shoes. I’m probably on a People of Walmart site somewhere 😆
Oof, I'm feeling all of the stretching in my lower abdomen this week. I didnt sleep well last night because of it and it's lingering today. Not sure it's RLP because it is pretty consistent pain, but nothing unbearable. Feels more like I did hundreds of crunches.
@therealbitts omg I’m dying at you walking through Walmart barefoot. I haven’t been in a Walmart in years, but that is the one store I probably wouldn’t bat an eye if someone was walking around barefoot!
I have bad pregnancy brain with remembering words and people’s names. Last pregnancy I kept locking myself out of the house before grabbing my keys. So this time DH almost immediately hid a key outside after I told him I was pregnant! 😆
@therealbitts that is too funny! I'm sure you're not the first one to walk through Walmart barefoot.
@daffodil_shoe YH was prepared! I fear is getting locked out because here the call the fire department and I do not want guys MH works with showing up.

+1 on pregnancy brain and feeling so validated reading all the stories above. Yesterday my boss came in and asked me if I had taken a survey I was supposed to take (and was being super kind since I had already affirmatively emailed him stating I had). I was sure I had (which is why I emailed to say I had). Look into it. Definitely did not. And this thing is an hour long activity, so if I weren’t pregnant I’d be seeing a doctor to figure out WTF is wrong with my brain.
I yesterday it took me like 20 minutes to remember the word “vernix” when showing new parents how to bathe a baby. Super embarrassing considering I work in a birthing center 🤦🏼♀️
Baby brain is crazy!!! I did the same thing as @jvk2012 except on Amazon! Swore I checked out and went to look the next day to see when my order would be delivered and no order! I know I at least made it to the selecting an address stage! Never mind the fact that I separately had ordered a new phone case and a new screen protector for an S9+ when I just have an S9. Couldn't believe I made that mistake TWICE.
