What are you doing to get knocked up (WAYDTGKU)?:
Tell us about yourself! (Kids, pets, job, hobbies, etc.):
we have a Boston terrier, Dexter and a cat named Joey. I am a school social worker, so I spend my days with children and I am often dealing with very stressful situations. However, I’ve been off all summer so that it has been very relaxing!
@alauren63 welcome! Bless you for being a social worker. It takes a special kind of person to handle those situations!

Welcome @alauren63 ! I love Boston terriers! (Kind of have to, I'm from Boston! ) Feel free to join us in the daily threads - the main two are WTO and TWW, depending on what part of your cycle you're currently in! Also, please feel free to ask us any questions about the set-up of the board, we're happy to help! We're very much a community, and are here to help out newer community members as they navigate the board!

My cat can be crazy at times yes lol inside though. He’s an indoor cat. Not as crazy as yours though.Never had any bunny brought home lol. Gross 😕
Hey @alauren63! And hey everyone else! Here is my intro!
Im 32, SO is 45
We have been TTC for a year, naturally except since June when my dr (probably not anymore) put me on Clomid. Also using OPKs.
I’m a healthcare representative, I have one son, from a previous relationship he’s 7. I have a toy poodle Kiki, I’m a very friendly, outgoing and sometimes not intentionally a wee bit selfish...
Im sorry girls for my previous post, not so much for posting my question, but for responding the way that I did to the responses that I received. I didn’t understand the nature of the group and therefore didn’t understand why everyone was coming at me that way. I now see there is a group in the community for everyone in every stage. This is my intro not my formal apology ladies! Stay tuned for that. Lol!
Hi @knottie4fb0de13892d613c. Thanks for doing a formal intro. It looks like your username is still not updating. Here is the instructions on how to do it. If you're able, try to do it from a computer, and not mobile. Until you change it to something more unique, it will be really difficult for other people to tag and interact with you.
How to change your username: log in to TheKnot, hover over My Knot, and click Account Settings. Then, log back out and log into The Bump. If you are having issues doing it that way, you can email community@thebump.com and ask them to change your username. Give them a few suggestions just in case your top choice is taken. It may take up to 24 hours for the name to update.

@knottie4fb0de13892d613c Welcome! Don't worry so much about the post, a lot of regulars start off the same way you did, but we all learn. As you get more involved in the threads you will quickly see that this community is amazing. I hope your stay here is short. Did your OB ask your SO to get a sperm analysis before putting you on Clomid? Health care still has a long way to come and still is a bit sexist, they always seem to look at everything for the female before even thinking it could be the male.
@knottie4fb0de13892d613c Nope, just log in with the same login info and go to your account settings and change it there. Then make sure you log out. For some reason it doesn't seem to kick in until you log out. Then you use the same login for The Bump and log back in. I hope it works for you!

How many months have you been TTC?: Just started this month
What are you doing to get knocked up (WAYDTGKU)?: As this is month #1, super casual - just guesstimating ovulation & trying every other day during that window. First day of my last period was August 10, so that should put me at roughly cycle day 11 today. So we're hitting days 10, 12, 14, and 16 at least this month most likely & we'll see from there.
Tell us about yourself! (Kids, pets, job, hobbies, etc.): We have a 3-year-old daughter, so we are trying for #2 -- holy crap is it surreal to really say that! We've got 2 cats, we recently moved into our "Forever house," I'm a senior technical writer for a software company, aaand I'm a long-distance runner & I lift weights. I'm in a completely different position physically (& hopefully mentally) than I was when we got pregnant with our daughter, so this should be interesting!
@saladflambe hello 👋 and welcome. Feel free to ask questions and join in on any of the other daily threads. Congrats on moving into your forever home. 🏡 That’s exciting! 😀
@m6agua no he didn’t! Said if I didn’t end up pregnant in 6 mos. they would then look at him. I hadn’t really thought about it but he should go ahead and have one so I can know if that could be part of the problem before blaming myself (which I know I shouldn’t anyway but it’s really hard not to.)
@saladflambe Welcome back! I'm in the same boat as you, DD is the same age as yours and we're trying for #2! Hope your stay is short!
@knottie4fb0de13892d613c Welcome! A lot of people make posting faux paste but the cool people stick around (but hopefully not for too long) and join in!
@alauren63 Welcome! Glad the summer had been relaxing!
This is my second cycle trying. I had an early MC after the first one, so I'm scared and nervous.
I'm 36, my SO is 37. No kids. We are both lawyers.
I am doing OPKs but not temping yet. Had ovarian surgery a few months ago and so my cycles have been all wonky; now that they are settling down it might time for temping and FF!
@litigatorgal Are you Gator fan?! If you are, Go Gators! If not, that’s cool, welcome anyway 😂And if you are a fan, here you go. My current favorite picture.
@tyrion_ Hahaha I wondered the same thing! I read her name as “Liti Gator Gal” like maybe it was a play on “little”. But then I realized she’s a lawyer so it’s “Litigator Gal”😂
Welcome @litigatorgal! I’m sorry for your previous loss. You may want to join the weekly TTCAL “TTC after loss” thread that’s within this TTGP board. Lots of support there for those of us who have suffered losses & are nervous about getting pregnant again.♥️

@alauren63 I work in the school system too! I'm an AP at a middle school. Our school social worker does so much for us, so I wanted to say a heartfelt thank you for what you do for kids!
