Okay this has gotten some interest in Randoms...stolen from March 2020 and a repeat from a while ago -- wedding dresses!
Post a picture (with faces not visible for privacy if you want!) of your wedding dress so we can all admire it! (Especially me because I haven't had a wedding but love other people's).
Feel free to say anything else about the dress/day too!
Re: GTKY Thursday 8/8
10/29/16 😍
one memorable moment was several of my bridesmaids, DH, and me picking out all the leaves and other assorted crap from my train that I had picked up during pics on the way to the ceremony.
Edit to add spoiler!

TTC#2 April 2019@b_1029 I love fall weddings because you always get amazing pictures! Those are awesome.
@mvt2003 awesome updo!! ❤️
@m6agua your train is epic! I love it.
And here's my dress! Cropped out my head for yall, I promise I do have one IRL (:
@mvt2003 so very pretty & elegant! Your hair is gorgeous!
@m6agua love your dress, and that your DH wore Chuck Taylors!
@jennifer_louise beautiful, I love the overlay...and good to know that you do in fact have a head! 😉
Here are a few of mine. I had envisioned a ball gown before I went shopping, but the consultant made me try this one...and I knew it was the one as soon as I had it on! I also, had to have the veil to go with it!
I always have a hard time choosing which photos best showcase my dress, so here's a photo dump of the ones I have pre-edited from last time. MH stepped on my bustle and ripped it out when we were walking out (right before the black and white photo), so it was messed up pretty much the whole day, haha.
ETA I also made my own veil. It took forever, but I was pretty proud of it. My friend used it as her "something borrowed for her wedding as well.

I'm allowing our faces in this one because you have to see my reaction to GETTING AN UNEXPECTED LAPDANCE
And just for fun and an added bonus, our AMAZING wedding cake done by a family friend as their wedding gift to us. She still owes us our anniversary cake. Instead of freezing it like you traditionally do she was just going to make us a new small cake haha

@gingermama29 beautiful dress & flowers!!
@mvt2003 that’s funny...I had grown mine out for a long time, so I wanted to wear it down. By the end of the night, it was flat, so I probably should have gone with an updo!
@bows22 so pretty!! I was nervous about putting mine up to, but now I’m just jealous of all the cool emoji stickers instead of just blacking out our faces!
@inthewoods23 love your dress, and that cake is beautiful! Our cake baker did the same thing, it was so awesome getting a fresh cake for our 1 year anniversary! My DH joked on our 2nd anniversary that we needed to go pick up our free cake again...if only it was an every year thing! Haha.
Here's a full-length pic:
And this one shows the details on the top. I also loved my flowers!
And a bonus pic of my bridesmaids' bouquets because I just loved them! The peach and blue were perfect together.
@emeraldduchess That lacy train!

Due with baby #2: Feb 2022
I want to play!! I think I joined as this happened last time and I was still understanding how the site worked. So maybe it was in December?
@inthewoods23 Are those geese on your cake?? @mvt2003 shield your eyes, jkjk. Our cake had birds on top too! We named the different reception tables for different birds since we like to birdwatch. (Nerds, I know.)
@shamrocandroll That’s awesome that you made your veil! When I saw the prices for them, I balked! So my mom decided to make me one. And I met her at a store half way between our two houses to try it on in a Burlington coat factory dressing room only to see that it was really yellowy where it was wrapped around at the top, so she added an appliqué kind of last minute. Ha, my mom was determined to have me have a veil!
ETA: Also, I was adamant about having a veil, paid the idiotic prices for my double veil, and now am inspired to pull it out of the storage box and wear it to vacuum like I used to before we moved and I packed it up!

@begging4abump yes those are geese! "Silly goose" was our first goofy pet names for each other. It's mostly babe, honey, and sweetie now, but it was cute when we were younger. I found the cake toppers on Etsy as well as the W (I had to paint it though). My MIL, as a Christmas gift that year, took our toppers and glued them to a piece of birch wood. It sits on top of a cabinet in our kitchen on display!

My dress was a total surprise pick. I didn’t know what I wanted, but assumed I would find some simple classic and unembellished Greek goddess style. Ended up falling in love with this blingy scandalous thing😆 at Kleinfeld’s sample sale: paid $900 for a $7400 dress!😍
