Okay this has gotten some interest in Randoms...stolen from March 2020 and a repeat from a while ago -- wedding dresses!
Post a picture (with faces not visible for privacy if you want!) of your wedding dress so we can all admire it! (Especially me because I haven't had a wedding but love other people's).
Feel free to say anything else about the dress/day too!
one memorable moment was several of my bridesmaids, DH, and me picking out all the leaves and other assorted crap from my train that I had picked up during pics on the way to the ceremony.
Oooh! Here’s two of mine! One from my photographer and one of my favorite candids of me and my cousin! I loved my dress!
Edit to add spoiler!

@b_1029 beautiful dress & flowers!! I originally wanted a Fall wedding, but didn’t want to wait any longer...so we got married in May instead! ☺️
@mvt2003 so very pretty & elegant! Your hair is gorgeous!
@m6agua love your dress, and that your DH wore Chuck Taylors!
@jennifer_louise beautiful, I love the overlay...and good to know that you do in fact have a head! 😉
Here are a few of mine. I had envisioned a ball gown before I went shopping, but the consultant made me try this one...and I knew it was the one as soon as I had it on! I also, had to have the veil to go with it!
I always have a hard time choosing which photos best showcase my dress, so here's a photo dump of the ones I have pre-edited from last time. MH stepped on my bustle and ripped it out when we were walking out (right before the black and white photo), so it was messed up pretty much the whole day, haha.
ETA I also made my own veil. It took forever, but I was pretty proud of it. My friend used it as her "something borrowed for her wedding as well.

Thanks @bluetickgal and @jennifer_louise I've got a LOT of hair, so the updo had to be pretty elaborate! My stylist actually made me cut it a bit before the wedding, otherwise it would have been enormous!

@mvt2003 that’s funny...I had grown mine out for a long time, so I wanted to wear it down. By the end of the night, it was flat, so I probably should have gone with an updo!
@bows22 so pretty!! I was nervous about putting mine up to, but now I’m just jealous of all the cool emoji stickers instead of just blacking out our faces!
@inthewoods23 love your dress, and that cake is beautiful! Our cake baker did the same thing, it was so awesome getting a fresh cake for our 1 year anniversary! My DH joked on our 2nd anniversary that we needed to go pick up our free cake again...if only it was an every year thing! Haha.
Btw, the chair I'm sitting on... Slid to DH at the start of the dance (to Nsync's Space Cowboy!) by his sister, he then does a little chair dance for like a second, has me sit down, then hilarity insues haha. And this is all from a guy who didn't want to go under my dress for the garter in the first place but he did it anyway!
It's nice to see him let loose once in a while. Which is why my head was so far back from laughing because I was not expecting any of it 🤣🤣

As this is not my first marriage, I chose to not wear a traditional wedding dress, and went with something that was more my style and that I would feel comfortable wearing (I didn't want to take it off!). Bonus: it had pockets!
I want to play!! I think I joined as this happened last time and I was still understanding how the site worked. So maybe it was in December?
@inthewoods23 Are those geese on your cake?? @mvt2003 shield your eyes, jkjk. Our cake had birds on top too! We named the different reception tables for different birds since we like to birdwatch. (Nerds, I know.)
@shamrocandroll That’s awesome that you made your veil! When I saw the prices for them, I balked! So my mom decided to make me one. And I met her at a store half way between our two houses to try it on in a Burlington coat factory dressing room only to see that it was really yellowy where it was wrapped around at the top, so she added an appliqué kind of last minute. Ha, my mom was determined to have me have a veil!
ETA: Also, I was adamant about having a veil, paid the idiotic prices for my double veil, and now am inspired to pull it out of the storage box and wear it to vacuum like I used to before we moved and I packed it up!

@ttcbabyodo Love it! I am not a fancy person and I changed as soon as I could into something less bulky and restricting. I ended up wearing a dress I got on sale at Urban Outfitters. Let me see if I can find some pics.
Edit: I couldn’t find any online/my phone. Booooo.
@ttcbabyodo oh my gosh I love the pop of green! I wanted a wedding dress with pockets so bad!
@begging4abump yes those are geese! "Silly goose" was our first goofy pet names for each other. It's mostly babe, honey, and sweetie now, but it was cute when we were younger. I found the cake toppers on Etsy as well as the W (I had to paint it though). My MIL, as a Christmas gift that year, took our toppers and glued them to a piece of birch wood. It sits on top of a cabinet in our kitchen on display!

@inthewoods23 How cute! We’ve got our birds around here somewhere. Mh likes to move them around so that I find them randomly. It’s sometimes embarrassing when I uncover them when I’m showing someone who’s giving us a quote on repairs, lol.
Aaaaah, this is one of my fave GTKYs! @inthewoods23@shamrocandroll@jennifer_louise@emeraldduchess@b_1029 I was also here the last time we did this. And I also joined at the end of the day that time too haha. It’s fun peeking at all your beautiful photos in between looooong afternoon meetings! My dress was a total surprise pick. I didn’t know what I wanted, but assumed I would find some simple classic and unembellished Greek goddess style. Ended up falling in love with this blingy scandalous thing😆 at Kleinfeld’s sample sale: paid $900 for a $7400 dress!😍
Only one I could find that was not on the computer (I am on mobile). Everyone looks wonderful btw! I will try to come back and tag later if I can, scrolling is hard work;)
@keikilove damn girl look at that booty! Lemme guess, it's a Pnina Tornai??

@inthewoods23 Good guess! It’s a Mark Zunino. It had a high neck and completely open bare mesh sides. I had it altered so I could at least breathe and also wear undies. Hahaha. And thanks for the compliment on my booty!😄
@jennifer_louise STUNNING! Such a classy fun dress, shows off your back perfectly.
@shamrocandroll Your wedding looks like a lot of fun! Love all your shots in different locations. Also LOVE your story of making your own veil & lending it to your friend.♥️
@ottergirl81 Gorgeous overlay and LOVE the location!
@begging4abump LOVE your cap sleeves & lace detail. Your story about your veil & then seeing it in your pic also makes me wish I could have worn one.
@ttcbabyodo LOVE the pops of color in your dress, shoes, & handfasting. Beautiful.
@tyrion_ Your flowers are so pretty! They perfectly contrast against the backdrop of your classically stylish dress. And the bridesmaids bouquets are GORGEOUS.
@emeraldduchess The bottom of your dress is beyond beautiful! Breathtaking.
@gingermama29 Beautiful! Love your cascading bouquet too, so pretty!
@inthewoods23 That lapdance pic is PRICELESS!😄Thanks for sharing! Also love your theme w your cake, bouquet, & shoes. So sweet!
@bows22 Beautiful shots! Love the bubbles upon your exit!

Haha.
Here's a full-length pic:
And this one shows the details on the top. I also loved my flowers!
And a bonus pic of my bridesmaids' bouquets because I just loved them! The peach and blue were perfect together.
