Tell us about yourself! (Kids, pets, job, hobbies, etc.):
I’m 24 and my husband is 33. We just had our son Archer almost 3 months ago. I was planning on trying for a girl in December but I’m thinking I may be pregnant already 😬 I have been testing but I’m pretty sure it’s too soon for a positive (haven’t had a period post baby) but I was spotting a couple days ago and I DONT spot. I am a heavy period kind of gal (I have 3 bio kids) so I know periods aren’t the same after birth but I’ve never been a spotter. So I’m going insane over here trying to get a for sure answer but I’m fairly certain I have to wait a bit more 😭
Why would you intro on a board of people trying to get pregnant if you’re not actually trying and you think you might be pregnant? Call your doctor and move on to one of the boards for pregnant people. If you’re not pregnant, come back when you’re actually ready to try.
I feel slow this morning. Thought the intro was a bit goofy until @mercury94 spelled it out 😅

Hi! I've been lurking for quite a while (before TTC), and finally created an account several months ago. So, here I am posting my newbie intro!
Ages (you and SO): We are 31 years young.
How many months have you been TTC?: 5 months - 3 months tracking.
What are you doing to get knocked up (WAYDTGKU)?: DTD. Taking prenatals. Using Ovia/Glow trackers. DTD. Pre-conception counseling appointment with the OB-GYN. Keeping my thyroid levels in check. Trying to relax!
Tell us about yourself! (Kids, pets, job, hobbies, etc.): We are on the East Coast, and have been married just over a year. We have a beautiful, smart, and talented American Staffordshire Terrier mix at home that we just adore. Typical weekend can include one of us: working around the house, camping, gaming, volunteering at an animal shelter, singing in a band - (SO, definitely not me), trying to exercise more, and just hanging out.
@lusineg Welcome! MH & I just watched Forest Gump last weekend haha, so your gif caught my eye. Former East Coaster here. GL TTC! Hope your time here is short.
Hi, I’m Amanda! I’ve been lurking this board for a couple months and honestly just kept holding out hope that “this will be the cycle for us”, so I didn’t want to jump in and then fade out immediately...silly, I know!
Ages (you and SO): I’m 33, DH is 31.
How many months have you been TTC?: 13ish months - started fertility meds in late May 2018 after being diagnosed with PCOS. We did 2 rounds of Clomid -no O, switched to Femara/Letrozole - O regularly now and just started the 7th round on it. **TW, we got pregnant on the 3rd round of Femara, but suffered a miscarriage at 7 weeks in Jan. 2019. End TW** The OB has now referred us to an RE, first appt. is on August 15th. We are nervous and excited for what this next step means. Of course we are hoping we will get KU on this last cycle with the OB, but we are also glad to know we can start making a plan with the RE if not.
What are you doing to get knocked up (WAYDTGKU)?: Femara, Metformin, pre-natal, Conceive Easy, HIO EOD starting on CD 10, bloodwork on CD 21 to confirm O, and temping & tracking everything with FF. Not sure what the protocol will be once we see the RE.
Tell us about yourself! (Kids, pets, job, hobbies, etc.): We’ve been married just over 2 years, I’m an Auditor and he works in Finance (yes, we are nerds and proud of it!). We have two cats (which I brought into the relationship but that DH now loves) & two dogs (which we adopted together) and they are all rotten, but we wouldn’t have it any other way! We love to go hiking and do anything outdoors! We’ve also spent lots of time recently fixing up our house to make it the home we want!
Since we were referred to the RE, it was kind of a reality check that we may be in for an even longer & more challenging road than anticipated! I love the sense of community I’ve seen here, and I’m really looking forward to joining in...I know I can learn a lot from you all, and I hope to provide some encouragement & insight along the way if possible! Also, sorry in advance that I tend to be kind of wordy (as evidenced here)!
How many months have you been TTC?: currently 14 1/2....
What are you doing to get knocked up (WAYDTGKU)?: Just finished taking progesterone to get a period, then this will be my first medicated cycle with letrozole 5mg, also on metformin to help with hormone balance with my pcos.
Tell us about yourself! (Kids, pets, job, hobbies, etc.): I'm a nurse in Manitoba Canada, DH and I have been together for 11 years, married for almost 5. We have two sweet girls, DD1 is 7, no fertility help needed with her, DD2 is almost 3, took us over 2 years to get pregnant with her. My husband farms, and we live a pretty simple life. We love our dogs (who are really just big children right?) and our extended family and spend all our spare time outside.
I was here a million years ago when TTC with #2, but had to take a break for a while. Now that I'm back on medicated cycles I need to talk to people who understand my mood swings and hot flashes.
me: 28 dh:34 dd:7 dd:2 ttc for over a year. PCOS, secondary infertility
Welcome back! @Allybear12. Sorry you find yourself crossing the year mark, that's frustrating. Fx the medicated cycle works for you! I feel like your screenname is so familiar, maybe I do remember you in there somewhere back from Nov 15-March 16??? Lol

Here’s a girl for you.
It's funny how it's the little things in life that mean the most...not where you live, or what you drive, or the price tag on your clothes... There's no dollar sign on a piece of mind, this I've come to know! *ZBB*
Hi! I failed to introduce myself here first before posting, sorry. I’m cheesy. Have lurked on the forum here and there since 3 years ago and now I’m officially here. I’m 35 years old and started TTC properly for the first time this cycle. Never had a child so this is my first ever. Hoping my journey won’t take too long because I’ll be on the older mom side already.
Hi, I’m Laura and I live in TX with my husband, daughter, and two cats. SO and I are both 31.
