Team Blue/Pink/Green: Blue 💙
Upcoming Appointments: not till July 12
How are you feeling? (Cravings/Symptoms): good but slightly more uncomfortable. Acid reflux has been a real bitch but can be controlled with Zantac
Rants/Raves: I ate two healthy breakfasts today! And I forgot I have a lunch meeting at 11....
Questions: I can no longer see my vagina, that’s normal right? 😂🙈 GTKY: Beach or Swimming pool? Both!! Just get this 6 month pregnant lady living in southern Texas in the cool water!! 🥵
EDD/Weeks + Days: 23 tomorrow Baby is the size of a(n): burrito with the works
FTM/STM/TTM+: 4thTM
Team Blue/Pink/Green: Green
Upcoming Appointments: July 5
How are you feeling? (Cravings/Symptoms): Mostly good today, miserable yesterday, my bp is high which I knew would happen from PIH but it has me feeling crappy more often than I’d like.
Rants/Raves: DH and I finally agreed on a timeline for our house renovations and getting our pole barn up.
Questions:
GTKY: Beach or Swimming pool? For laying in the sun the beach at the ocean, for actual swimming and staying cool a pool.
@galentine Oreo fluff? I feel like I need this in my life. Where do I get it??? Also, I use a little BioFreeze when my back is hurting. Not a whole lot and not too often but it definitely helps when I'm having a rough day/night. I would only use on my back.
@emily1052 Erg, I feel you on the acid reflux. I tend to get it in the afternoon, no matter what I eat.
EDD/Weeks + Days: 10/14 - 24 weeks Baby is the size of a(n): French press??? Or as tall as a large tub of popcorn 🍿
FTM/STM/TTM+: STM (DS is almost 5)
Team Blue/Pink/Green: Pink
Upcoming Appointments: Tomorrow for my GD 1-hr test and regular OB appt
How are you feeling? (Cravings/Symptoms): Still trying to sleep comfortably (I feel like I'm waking up every few hours to turn over and readjust the belly and back pillows). Acid reflux too in the afternoons.
Rants/Raves: Nothing much over here. As mentioned in Randoms, my twin sister's bachelorette party is this weekend. It's going to be interesting to say the least. Questions: MIL said she was tentatively planning baby shower for the first weekend in September (so the 7th?)... She was wondering if that was too late and my general feeling is yes. What do you think? ETA I will be 34+5.
GTKY: Beach or Swimming pool? While I like both, I'm definitely more of a pool girl. I hate trying to find parking at the beach, lug all of my and the fam's junk down to the sand, get dirty, then be exhausted and have to trek up back to the car.

@emily1052, LOL to your question 😂😂😂 I assume normal. I can't see mine either. Getting my, ahem, "situation all situated" (reference from The Other Woman movie, anyone?) is starting to become a challenge. I have suck my belly in as much as I can and contort myself into weird angles, and.... it's not pretty.
Upcoming Appointments: US next week to check on placenta previa. Hopefully off pelvic rest 😉😉
How are you feeling? (Cravings/Symptoms): Great aside from humidity issues. Makes me crankier then usual when I'm preg. I have never dealt well with it.
Rants/Raves: Bleh. More houses this week. I'm over it. Someone just put me out of my misery.
Questions:
GTKY: Beach or Swimming pool? I'd take a pool right about now. I do love the beach but a pool is more cooling IMO.
@Galentine I I beleive a heating pad for your back is okay in short bursts. I wouldn't go sleeping on it but 20 min here and there. As long as your not raising your core temp you are good.
@emily1052, LOL to your question 😂😂😂 I assume normal. I can't see mine either. hahaha....yea I know that feeling.
@prpl11butterfly Good luck at your test I hope it's cleared up for you!
@emily1052 being pregnant in the Texas heat is the absolute worst!! I'm dying!
@prpl11butterfly fingers crossed your placenta moves! although tbh I'm so hot and over it pelvic rest would be an easier excuse at this point
@stephanie123456 I get acid reflux whenever I eat anything. I hardly feel like I can go to town on food - I literally get a stomachache with everything I eat. SO annoying.

Team Blue/Pink/Green: Green! I totally think it's a boy.
Upcoming Appointments: July 9 for u/s with MFM; July 23 for glucose test with regular OB.
How are you feeling? (Cravings/Symptoms): mostly good but uncomfortable - still feel nauseous if I don't eat and then heartburny when I do. Still craving ALL the sweets. I had fried-to-order beignet style donuts this weekend and they were everything (hmm.. maybe this is why I'm getting heartburn, haha)
Rants/Raves: Raves - DH is so excited about the baby and it makes me so happy to see. He's reading all the parenting books and researched all the strollers/ car seats which is great because I hadn't done anything.
Questions: None right now.
GTKY: Beach or Swimming pool? Swimming pool...cleaning up sand sucks.
@stephanie123456, oreo fluff is delicious and super simple: milk, vanilla pudding mix, cool whip, crashed oreos. Bam, easy & delicious. Recipe link in spoiler!
@galentine no hot tub, but a regular heating pad is fine! I use a microwaveable bean bag thing! And agree with what @prpl11butterfly said, electric ones in short bursts. Just make sure it's not too hot. Hot tubs aren't okay because they don't cool off and actually raise your body temp after a little bit...
@galentine HIGHLY recommend letting someone else get your situation all settled 😂 I prefer waxing/sugaring anyway, but it's nice to sit back and let someone else who actually has a view of my nethers do the situating lol
Upcoming Appointments: not for another 3 weeks, then it's my glucose test
How are you feeling? (Cravings/Symptoms): I feel broken.... My entire pelvic region is constantly stiff and sore... And my lower back is in constant pain which makes carrying DS (who suddenly needs ups all the time) really uncomfortable... Craving diet coke, eggos and burritos currently lol
Rants/Raves: our housewarming party was perfect! This summer cold is not....
GTKY: Beach or Swimming pool? Swimming pool! We have our own above ground one that I can't wait to get set up for the summer! I'm a homebody and self conscious of my body, so I prefer swimming in the privacy of my own home
How are you feeling? (Cravings/Symptoms): Meh - good days and bad days. It's going to be a super hot week and with 2 boys that HATE to be inside, I'm sure I'll be a hotty, sweaty beast haha. I've had no cravings this whole pregnancy, weird.
Rants/Raves: Still dealing with a knee injury that I wasn't able to take care of before finding out I was pregnant so that has been really painful. Between the knee and the leg cramps at night, the nights are awful. However, I started taking magnesium supplements and I do think it is actually helping some! FYI- for some of you dealing with leg cramps.
Questions:
GTKY: Beach or Swimming pool? Definitely beach I'm not a pool person.
@emily1052, LOL to your question 😂😂😂 I assume normal. I can't see mine either. Getting my, ahem, "situation all situated" (reference from The Other Woman movie, anyone?) is starting to become a challenge. yup! I'm like talking to myself in the shower "come on, I know we can suck it in a little more to get the job done"

FTM/STM/TTM+: TTM
Team Blue/Pink/Green: It's a boy
Upcoming Appointments: Glucose test in 4 weeks.
How are you feeling? (Cravings/Symptoms): I've started craving a lot of whole foods, which is a nice change from the carb fest I've been on for the past few months.
Rants/Raves: Someone mentioned an in-law rant thread last week. I could go for that.
Questions: Does anyone else due at the end of the month feel like such a baby pregnant person at these check ins? Those of you due earlier seem so far ahead! I was due early in the month for my last two, so this is a new perspective for me. GTKY: Beach or Swimming pool? Pre-kids I would say beach. Post-kids I would say neither.
EDD/Weeks + Days: Oct 6 Baby is the size of a(n): Popcorn bag
FTM/STM/TTM+: TTM
Team Blue/Pink/Green: Blue
Upcoming Appointments: Wednesday.
How are you feeling? (Cravings/Symptoms): So. So. Pregnant. Like looking at myself sideways in the mirror is a revelation. When did this happen?
Rants/Raves: It*s too hot to work, to clean, to do anything. Unfortunately I took this week off to work on the house and that is definitely not happening with these temperatures. Urgh.
Questions: GTKY: Beach or Swimming pool? Swimming pool if only because I can have it all with a pool. Kid-friendly depths, sunshade, whirlpool section, cabana boy, grape popsicles on demand....
Upcoming Appointments: I just had a follow up US on Friday to check on my placenta previa and it hasn’t moved at all— still completely covering my cervix. So 4 more weeks of pelvic rest and I’m so bummed.
How are you feeling? (Cravings/Symptoms): SI joint pain is getting pretty bad at this point. I’m also eating ALL THE CEREAL in the whole world.
Rants/Raves: No real rants, just bummed about pelvic rest continuing. Raves: A friend gave me a gift for baby already and it included some stuff from the Beauty Counter baby line! I’m super excited to try it.
Questions: Gah I know I had one and now I forget.,.
GTKY: Beach or Swimming pool? beach beach beach!! I grew up basically on the beach all day every day during the summer, I love it so much. ETA: galentine I need Oreo fluff in my life right meow.
@stephanie123456 I think I had one at like 38 weeks with DD!! 34 is doable, but I understand feeling like it’s too late if you want to set stuff up, etc before then.
@grapeskittles4lyfe do you have a Dunkins near by? If you like grape popsicles you should try their new grap coolatta. I had 1 today and it's pretty good!
@grapeskittles4lyfe do you have a Dunkins near by? If you like grape popsicles you should try their new grap coolatta. I had 1 today and it's pretty good!
hm. I don't thing the grape flavor craze has really travelled all the way to Germany (I seem to remember the US went in for grape flavoring because blackcurrants were not allowed on US soil, something about a pest), but we'll be in Boston end of July and I've made a note of this. Yum yum yum!
Upcoming Appointments: MW w/ glucose screen and MFM w/ growth scan on 7/11. I’m booked out through 39w and am basically running between the two offices each time since they’re down the street from one another (less days I’ll need to be in late)
How are you feeling? (Cravings/Symptoms): I’ve nicknamed DD spaszo. She’s constantly in there jazzersicing lately and it’s very spaszy feeling
Rants/Raves: I told my work that I’m not allowed to travel more than an hour away once I hit 3rd tri. 🙊Technically, without complications, you can travel up to 34/36w, but I’m not comfortable in the car for long periods anymore nor am I comfortable going into the middle of nowhere as I’m getting farther along. I’m totally milking the pregnancy with complications card on this one. Perhaps I should save this for Friday 🙈

How are you feeling? (Cravings/Symptoms): Reflux is my main complaint. We had macaroni salad and tuna for lunch and that caused it...but yesterday when I ate a corn dog and French fries I had indigestion but no reflux 🤷🏼♀️
Rants/Raves: Rant - The humidity is killing me. I’m hoping for DS’ sake I don’t have to stay in the AC all summer
Rave - I feel like my nesting phase has finally begun!
Questions:

Diddo!! I hated the beach, then I found water shoes....amazing. I still don't like the beach though lol. The sand gets every where, tide pools/waves freak me out...Id rather just sit in the pool.

DD slept ALL night in her room for two nights

@cmbt2 I don’t think that telling work that your can’t/won’t travel is a bad thing. Being alone on the road while that far along heading to places that I’m not necessarily familiar with would terrify me.
@galentine Yum to Oreo fluff!!! As far as I’m aware you can use a heating pad as long as it’s not on the bump, or long enough that you feel overheated. @emily1052 what I wouldn’t give to be in Corpus or Port Aransas right now! @nnaelilak I’m sorry you’re sick, FX it’s gone soon @SLou24 Sorry about the stubborn placenta @melanier26 I think the nesting started last week for me. @Cass005 imho night training only works if you are willing to do alarms, and sometimes that doesn’t even work, if you have a hard sleeper their body just isn’t going to wake them.

She is great to have around the house. She keeps me kitchen clean at all times, and occupies DS. She gives me my space as needed too.
Questions: Nada GTKY: Beach or Swimming pool? Beach for chilling pool for swimming.
@kindbytealikat Yea I'm not confident DD would wake if we just put her in regular panties. We've been encouraging her to go potty in the middle of the night to help, but I don't know if it really helps at all. The Ped said it would resolve itself eventually.

@ineedsixeggs She definitely has some irritating quirks but they come out most when DH sister is here. Today she did laundry and scrubbed spots on my carpet, that I told her are hopeless, she had to try none the less

Questions: GTKY: Beach or Swimming pool? Beach for relaxing, pool for swimming unless the water is clear enough for me to see what’s around me. I love snorkeling for example. yup. DD1 night trained over Christmas (Aug13 baby) by herself. When the moms on DD2's board (Feb17 baby) were asking about their kids waking up dry I just said that I treated day and nighttime dryness as two very different things to master and to not only count all or nothing on the diaper free scale.

This is how my Jan’15 moms approached it as well. DS1 figured out night training on his own (too many times leaving his pull up around his ankles and he figured it out 🤣). If he’s taught me anything, it’s that a kid who is ready to train will figure it out without much training. He daytrained himself 2 weeks before he turned 4. He one day asked for underwear, so we did underwear underneath a pull up. We realized he didn’t like to feel wet. By day 3, he was down to one accident. He had it figured out by day 4.

GTKY: Beach or Swimming pool?
Beach for relaxing, pool for swimming unless the water is clear enough for me to see what’s around me. I love snorkeling for example. I have taken many trips where we spend a day reading on the beach, maybe stick our toes in the water, and then go swim in the hotel pool.

(Cravings/Symptoms): Pretty good! I can tell when I eat too much before bed! I get a wicked stomachache right above my belly button. Could this be heartburn?
Rave- headed to the lake tomorrow so I’m done with work for the weekend! I am a bit nervous about going boating. My dr said as long as it’s not rough it’s fine. I’m a worrier and don’t know what exactly rough means! It will be a fun trip but I hope I’m not a worry wart the whole time!
GTKY: Beach or Swimming pool? Both! If it’s sunny I’m happy!
I also can’t get the tagging to work bolded or not right now. My husband is at the grocery store right now and I almost had him pick up some Oreo fluff!
