How far along are you? Any symptoms? Rant/Rave? Next appointment? Questions?
GTKY: Have there been any pleasant surprises this pregnancy (e.g. lesser weight gain, fewer cravings, luxurious locks, etc.) that you're going to be sad to see go? Have you stayed in touch with your nurse/doctor/clinic at all with your progress (or is that something you do/have done)?

Sorry for being late, guys ... worst vacation ever. But I'm back and I promise to stop slacking
How far along are you? 30w3d (8 weeks, 4 days to go!) Any symptoms? Still having issues with the esophageal flap that refuses to close Rant/Rave?Rant: Still pretty mad about my only "vacation" time this year being the worst vacation ever, why are Boomers such selfish jerks? Rave: Still on the low end of weight gain, but I *know* it'll really start in the next 3-4 weeks, so trying to enjoy not being the Goodyear Blimp just yet ... Next appointment? Monday, June 17: "32 wk appt" Questions? Has everyone pre-registered with their hospitals? Yeah? So it's just me who's falling behind, ok ...
GTKY: This pregnancy has been pretty similar to my first, but there haven't been any cravings and sleeping is still decent (I still catch myself trying to sleep 75% on my stomach - like angled, but still with a lot of contact - without too many issues). I plan to email my nurse this week and let her know how everything is going and then follow-up post birth with all the details. I'm kind of sad that we're done with our IVF journey (we're out of embryos) and still wrestling with the though of leaving the (highly unlikely) window of possibility open for a natural conception. Need to think on that some more ...

@MamaK225 I still try to sleep angled on my stomach and it’s comfy to me for a few minutes—until the LO gives me a swift kick. She must be squished. Happens every time and then I feel bad
How far along are you? 29w3d Any symptoms? Heartburn/acid reflux and swollen ankles and feet. Rant/Rave? Sooooo glad to be on summer break! Next appointment? June 19th for my 30week checkup Questions?

Have you stayed in touch with your nurse/doctor/clinic at all with your progress (or is that something you do/have done)? I’m glad that I didn’t have any symptoms in my first tri. And I’m happy that while I’ve gained more weight than I should have, it’s almost all belly. The only contact I’ve had with my RE was that I dropped off a infertility medication that I hadn’t opened yet so they could give it to a woman who couldn’t afford it
@MamaK225 Oh no, I'm sorry that you had the vacay from hell. On the IF note, @purplg8r Yay for Summer break! I'm excited for you!
How far along are you? 30w1d Any symptoms? Still reflux, emotions ramping back up a bit, discomfort at night Rant/Rave? My husband got to feel our son kick twice over the weekend after placing his hands on my belly and saying, "Hey buddy, this is your Daddy. Let me know that you're in there." One morning, he got to feel him moving in the bottom left corner and said he felt a little ball like structure moving around.
Next appointment? I think on 6/17 and gonna allow them to do an u/s. Haven't seen the little guy since 3/28 when we did our AS.
GTKY: My fertility clinic has received an u/s photo every time we've gotten one. They are super excited to hear about our progress.

@mamak225 I'm not sure our hospital does registration... or if they do it happens at an appointment... basically we just show up when its time (but our hospital system is one big conglomerate... so your either a patient or not... if that makes sense...) @jrm_14 i'm sorry your having a hard time. I'm not sure it ever goes away completely.... With the twins I don't think I started to relax until after viability but even then it felt a bit like waiting for the other shoe to drop. I tried to enjoy as much as I could because I wasn't sure it would ever happen again, but there were still rough moments. That moment when they put your baby in your arms, the PAIF goes away (worry never goes away but there is victory in that moment) as for PGAL, for me that loss sadness is always around but not as sharp. I think about my peanut all the time but the loss-aversery and EDD no longer are so triggering. I will say that PAIF and IF in general comes back when and if you want to try for siblings. Hugs, its OK to feel all the feels and we get it.

I agree with everything @wabash15 said, @jrm_14. There is a sweet, happy (not quite euphoric, but close) lull for a long time after you get that baby in your arms. The sting of a missed EDD (from loss or failed FET/IVF attempt) becomes less and less and nearly disappears over time. It's only when/if you "try again" that it can rear its ugly head and - at that time - it can be pretty intense because you really do "forget" it all from before and have to revisit/make it through some of those feelings again. And, with enough perseverance and/or luck, you get to hold another dear baby in your arms and it all melts away again

They're probably so used to gifts like this @purplg8r. It's my plan to send a ovary and uterus plus pillow to ours along with his favorite bottle of liquor. I'm thinking now it would be good to send some good donuts to his staff too. Go for it!
