My F**** back. I can feel the knots all down my spine. My hip won’t stay into place, and there’s a giant ass knot that won’t go away causing it to keep pulling out. I’m so over it 😤😤

I am with you! My right hip is all kinda of jacked up, I can hardly walk. 😩
  • @cmbt2 I feel you on the back pain!  :s  and the chiropractor doesn't seem to be helping me like it did before. Sigh... I'll keep going but damn it's bothersome!

Right?? I‘m at every other week visits now, and it’s almost like I need to go weekly. Do not have the time for that!

  • @cmbt2 @jal88144 @jenferlee82 damn, I hope you’re able to find some relief.  I just started to have some hip pain and a friend recommended some different yoga poses.  Have any of you tried yoga for relief in the past?  Did it help?  I’m terrified of chiropractors so that’s out of the question.

It didn’t help me 😞 I saw a chiropractor for the first time during DS2’s pregnancy as a last resort (and I asked around for recs because there’s so much scary around seeing one), and it is honestly the only thing that helped. I had a massage membership, did my stretches, slept in the best position I could, but nothing helped relieve the pain caused by my hip being out of place

Sadly this for me too. I still try to stretch daily and do stretches that are supposed to relieve the back pain but nada.
  • @emily1052 Yoga has worked really well for me for this kind of pain in the past. Hip openers like pigeon did wonders. Sadly, like the other ladies, it hasn’t seemed to help much now that I’m pregnant. I’m probably going to make a chiro appointment this week actually.
  • @emily1052 Maybe look into “gentle chiropractic” and see if there are any practices near you. There’s no cracking or roughness about it. I used to go to a regular one in high school and haated it, but this method isn’t scary at all

This is what my chiro is. He uses this activator thingy on my back, neck, and shoulders, and the only physical movement he does is “table drops,” where he literally uses the force of an adjustable table dropping my pelvis and light pressure to knock my pelvis back into alignment

  • @emily1052 I’ve been having terrible hip pain and went to prenatal yoga this weekend. I mentioned it to the instructor (she goes around the room at the beginning of class to ask about problem areas), we did a bunch of hip stretches, and I felt 100x better after the class. So yoga is worth a try in my opinion!

  • Thank y’all for your feedback!  I found some good looking stretches on YouTube that I’m going to give a try for a couple of weeks and see if that will help!
  • I’m getting random pains in my left hip that shoot to my butt. That’s fun.
I thought I felt the SPD coming back I had last time and almost cried. Luckily it was hopefully a fluke because I haven’t felt it since but it scared me to remember how bad that hurt.

Im having a horrible time trying to fall asleep after one of my girls wakes up. 2 days ago my 4 yo’s blanket fell off at 4:40 am...guess what time I was awake for the day 😫

  • @perfectlove09 same- my youngest has been waking up with nightmares around 3:00 on the dot. I just lay there and cannot fall back to sleep so I'm up! We've all been sleeping great for the past 3 years and have to admit, with these wakeups that have been happening lately, it's a little reminder of what's to come and I forgot that nauseated, exhausted feeling you have from being up all night!   :#

I've been getting lower back pain so I try to get up and walk when I can. I'm also getting uncomfortable at night time. I toss and turn all the time. The newest symptom is crying. I want to cry all the time.
  • @Cass005 crying!! I have been thinking something is going on with me, everything makes me want to cry. I read a chick lit book this weekend where the husband left his wife for his mistress shortly after the wife's miscarriage and I bawled for HOURS, it was so stupid.
  • @obsessedwithoranges It's annoying as hell, I'm waiting for the tears to come at work now.... lol.
  • @obsessedwithoranges What was the name of the book?
    DD 10/2019
  • @meagan-t Three Wishes by Liane Moriarty. Apparently her debut novel - I've read most of her more recent work
  • I think I might be starting to get heartburn. Too bad I have also been craving spicy food. Might be time to start cutting back on the spicy and acidic stuff. It seems too early! :(

  • My breasts hurt so much! It almost feels like I have mastitis. Massaging them has helped a little bit, but it's not something I can do in public or at work. Does anyone else have (or have had in the past) this kind of breast pain while pregnant?

I noticed some swelling in my feet today 😳 are you planning on some compression socks?

Right now I've been relying on putting my feet up whenever I can and walking around for at least five minutes once an hour. I'm also going to try really hard to cut back on my salty snacks. I'm hoping I don't have to buy yet another something to keep me comfortable, but yes, compression socks may end up being a thing in my world. 😒
    DD 10/2019
  • @cooaladolly well you certainly COULD massage them in public ℓσℓ some may. Or mind 😉
but other than that I’m sorry, I’m not sure what you can do really. Maybe try switching bras? It may not hurt to get resized if you’ve gotten bigger. Better support?

@mrsinterweb I just started noticing the heartburn yesterday. I thought it was a fluke but it showed up again today. I had it something awful with both babies and it lasted until the moment I gave birth 😬 I’m really hoping these symptoms don’t last long for us!

If you have a job that requires being on your feet a lot or travel, I highly recommend investing in good compression socks. I wear mine when I travel for work even when not pregnant. I have athletic ones, and as long as you take care of them, they last

Ugh I’m having the worst indigestion today. I had a dull pain in my left side that finally went away and nausea. Plus having Braxton Hicks. Hoping it’s all over soon bc I have so much to do! And an unhappy kiddo because mommy’s been laying down for most of the morning
  • Ligament pain suuuuucks. However that’s about it. Just ligament pain. My energy is good, my appetite is better...so far so good!
  • @perfectlove09 I actually just ordered a new bra thinking the same thing, they seem to be growing so fast this time! And lol to massaging them in public. I'm starting to be tempted.
+1 to indigestion people. I've been living off Tums for weeks now it seems.
@melanier26 sorry you're getting hit with everything! Hope you feel a little better soon!

Sounds like letdown pains to me! I've been getting them a lot recently 😬 my nipples in general are so sensitive right now...

  • I think I have this too if I'm hugging my son it hurts kinda but just in a certain area on each breast on hurts more then the other but then I massage it and it feels better and my nipples I dont touch when they hurt I dont want anything near them!
  • Anyone sore in there lower half I feel like my bones are so sore in my pelvic area sometimes my knees hurt I still get that gross taste in my mouth and I get shooting pains from below up too yay lol
  • @Knottie1473182526 My lower back is consistently sore. Also your S/N is super long, there's a thread to guide you how to shorten it :)

Is anyone else wanting to cry at everything? I heard today a coworker is engaged and the wedding is in Oct too. I was getting slightly weepy. Then I spilled oily salad dressing on my maternity pants....Now I gotta replace them the stain is so big, that made me weepy too...

  • @Cass005 sprinkling baby powder on the spot can help draw out the oils. I'd try that before replacing.
  • @Cass005 You can also use a little water and Dawn with a toothbrush to break up the oil. I hope you're able to "heal" them so they don't end up useless.
